I received these bars free as part of the ChickAdvisor Review Club. I frequently use meal replacement bars to supplement my diet but it can be difficult to find ones that actually taste good. These Decadent Fudge bars are delicious! And they are filling. I have eaten one for breakfast when I overslept and needed to rush out and I was satisfied until lunch time. I also like to eat just half in the afternoon for a snack when I know I'm going to have a late dinner. I will be buying more of these and I'm now curious to try other flavours of Nutriforme Bars. -

I was feeling sick the day I received this product from the Product Review Club for free, but I wanted to try it right away so I poured a capsule into a glass of water. It tasted really bad! I definitely need to use it with juice instead. But I did notice a really big energy boost. I was just starting to get sick with a cold/ flu and after taking this I was able to have a really productive day. I worked a full day and also did all my housework and even went out later that night. My senses were sharpened and I had better focus. I have tried other energy boosters that rely mostly on caffeine, so I was really glad to see this one is all different kinds of ginseng instead. -

A few times a year I find myself holed up in one of the hotels in Downtown Moncton and when I do I like to go to the Old Triangle for a meal. I have only ever had one bad experience there and it was a couple of years ago when I was on a vegetarian stint. I tried Kevin's Celtic Burger and it was really terrible. I would never order it again and if I was still vegetarian I might never go back because there really isn't a great selection for vegetarians. However, I've returned to my carnivorous nature and The Old Triangle is back to the top of my list for must go places to eat in downtown Moncton. The beef burger is delicious, as are the caesar salad, fish 'n chips, steak, shepherd's pie and every other thing I've ever tried on the regular menu. They have a really nice happy hour and some great live entertainment on the weekends. If you have never been, you really should give it a try. -

I don't get to Toronto as often as I would like, but when I do I always make sure to have at least one meal at the Canyon Creek Chophouse on Front Street. The meal is usually my most expensive dining experience on my trip but it is something I save up for and look forward to indulging in. This is the one place where I will enjoy three courses and a full bottle of wine. The wine selection is always good. The food is always delicious. And the service is always friendly and quick. I enjoy the atmosphere in this restaurant. It is the perfect place to have a romantic date or a nice evening with a friend. I can't wait to go back and I suggest it to all my friends travelling to downtown Toronto! -

Location, location, location! On a recent trip to Toronto, my girlfriend and I decided to check out the Distillery District. We found some really cool shops but the best find of all was Balzac's Cafe. Fair Trade, organic, slow food served quickly ... these are all concepts I seek out when choosing a coffee house. Add to that the wonderful ambiance of the upstairs/ downstairs space in the Distillery District and Balzac's hits a home run with me. It may be a bit out of the way, but definitely worth the trek. -

I first discovered The Pickle Barrel Yonge/ Dundas location in 1987 when I was a student at Ryerson. Back then it was a great place to grab a chicken salad sandwich, burger and fries for lunch and get a break from campus between classes. A lot has changed since then, the menu has gone through many incarnations, and you can no longer get a chicken salad sandwich. But the restaurant remains in the same spot, which shows that they are doing something right. Whenever I'm in Toronto, I like to pop by The Pickle Barrel for lunch and some nostalgia with old classmates. Even though everything is different, it still brings back fond memories. The wine selection is decent and the price is comparable with other restaurants downtown. My favourite menu items are the poutine, Caesar salad, clubhouse sandwich, the house burger, and the homestyle chicken fingers. I have never had a bad experience at the Pickle Barrel. -

So addictive! Ferrero Rocher is one of my all-time favourite treats, though I very rarely get to have them because they are also off the charts expensive. I usually only have them at Christmas, because my Mom buys them for me as a gift. They are delicious whether you pop the whole thing into your mouth and taste all the flavours at once, or if you do like I do and savour each layer to make the treat last. I nibble away at the outer crispy chocolate wafer until I find the creamy milk chocolate layer and finally the scrumptious hazelnut in the centre. In a way I'm glad I can't afford to buy these, because if I could, I would eat way too many of these. -

My boyfriend, who doesn't drink and knows nothing about wine, bought me a 1500 ml bottle of this for $15.49, so the price was right. I'm not really a fan of merlot, I'm more into cabernet or malbec, but since this was a blend with cabernet I thought I would give it a chance. The taste was okay, nothing spectacular, but not hideous. It was a medium body and I like mine a bit fuller, but it had pretty good tones and flavour, and paired well with the Canadian cheddar and crostini that I was eating. I enjoyed two glasses. I drink red wine all the time, but some brands give me a headache and unfortunately this was one that did just. I don't know whether I will drink this one again. Maybe, because the price is pretty good and the taste is okay. If I drink lots of water as well and perhaps take an antihistamine before I have it, I might avoid a headache. -

One of the best purchases for my kitchen that I've ever made! Yes, the T-Fal Actifry is expensive. I managed to get mine during an awesome online sale where I also earned cash back, so it was a great deal! But now that I have one I would pay full price if I ever needed a replacement. I use it all the time to prepare food that has a deep fried crisp taste and texture without all the added fat of frying. It's easy to use, easy to clean, saves the energy of turning on your big oven to bake things like french fries. I love it! -

Dawn Ultra is my absolute favourite dish soap! The suds last for hours and it cuts through grease and grime like nothing else I've tried. I love that a little goes a long way. Other dish soaps I've tried don't last nearly as long in my house because I have to use twice as much to get any suds to bubble up and then they disappear before I can even get all my dishes washed. Not only is Dawn the best dish soap, it's also one of the most affordable. It frequently goes on sale or has coupons available. That's when I stock up, so my budget never forces me to use an inferior product. -
