Before Windex came out with a multi-surface cleaner I used to sometimes use the regular stuff for more than just windows and mirrors. I'm glad they finally have one product that is good for everything. It works really well. I use it regularly in my kitchen. I think it's competitively priced with similar cleaners, but I can't afford to have product loyalty or to pay full price for ANY cleaner, no matter how much I like it. So I buy what is on sale, or what I can get the best deal using a coupon. Sometimes that's Windex, and I'm happy when it is. -

Windex works great for streak free cleaning of windows, mirrors, glass table tops, faucets, and more. If you want something to shine, if you want to be able to see your reflection, or see through something like there's nothing there, then Windex is the way to go. There's a reason why this product has been on the market since I was a kid. It really works. -

Swiffer Dusters really work well but they are quite expensive. I would love to be able to use them on a regular basis, but it just isn't very practical on my budget and since they can really only be used one time and then need to be tossed, they aren't very environmentally friendly either, which bothers me. I do have some on hand that I use sparingly for those hard to reach places like on top of the ceiling fan blades. Otherwise I dust the old fashioned way with a rag. -

I am known to be a bit of a klutz and it seems like I can't eat out without getting food or drinks all down the front of my top. I used to ruin blouses and t-shirts on a regular basis, but then I discovered the Tide to Go Instant Stain Removers and decided to give it a try. I was wary of the price, because it's a bit expensive for my budget. But I bought one and put it in my purse and of course it wasn't long before I had the need to try it out. Ketchup, mustard, wine, coffee, pop, juice, mayonnaise, gravy ... you name it and I've had it accidentally dribble all over my clothes. Tide to Go saves me every time! Now, I never go anywhere without one in my purse. It is worth every penny because it really works. -

The toughest of stains on walls, floors, counter tops, and even in the sink and bathtub just wipe away, in many cases with very little effort. I like that I don't have to scrub with every ounce of strength in me. I love that devastating stains I never imagined would come clean like rust in the bathtub and red wine on the wall disappear. Mr Clean Magic Erasers are a staple in my home and a real lifesaver. -

I don't think any fries on the market can rival the McCain's Superfries Crinkle Cut. Their Crinkle Cut has been my favourite forever. They are fantastic any way you cook them, baked in the oven or deep fried. But my favourite way to prepare them is using my T-Fal Actifry. This gives them that really crispy restaurant quality texture without all the extra fat of deep frying. These fries are so good you don't need any condiments! I will often eat them plain. -

A&W;have really gone above and beyond with their commitment to hormone and steroid free meat products. This makes them number one in the burger fast food chains for me. Their hamburgers taste like real hamburgers. Their chicken sandwiches are delicious. They do a really nice vegetarian burger as well. I really enjoy their sweet potato fries with spicy dip. And they do a really nice breakfast at an awesome price. I don't eat out at fast food joints very often but when I do 9 times out of 10 I'm going to choose A&W;. -

Located in the Lord Beaverbrook Hotel, the James Joyce Pub offers the largest selection of New Brunswick Craft Beer and Cider in the world! In recent years the Chef has been committed to the slow food movement, purchasing from locally sourced vendors, and even growing greens and raising honey bees on the roof of the hotel. This commitment to providing truly local food has made a tremendous impact on the quality of what was already some pretty amazing pub fare! A burger made from Local Valley Beef just tastes better! But my absolute favourite is the Rooftop Honey Garlic Chicken Wings. These are hands down the best wings I have ever had anywhere in North America. I tell everyone about them and urge them to go try them for themselves. The James Joyce really is New Brunswick's LOCAL pub! You have to go! -

Jungle Jim's in Miramichi never fails to deliver quality food and great service! The restaurant has been around for a really long time, which is a testament to it's appeal and customer loyalty. They have some really great specials every week that make this one of the most affordable sit down restaurants in the city limits. I love going on Wednesday for Wacky Wing Night and also on Thursday for Steak-tacular! The staff is always really friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. On a recent excursion I asked about a new Indian inspired dish and the waitress told me that if I ate a lot of Indian food (which I do) I mightn't find this to be authentic enough for my taste buds. I was so pleased with her honesty! She saved me from ordering a new dish I likely would have been disappointed with so I could instead order a dish I absolutely loved and enjoyed every bite. -
