I was impressed by the dry time of this sealant. It’s quick and easy to use with a caulking gun and I didn’t run into any issues while using it. It was a bit more runny than other sealants I’ve used, but it was easy to get the hang of once you’ve adjusted to the consistency. There was no noticeable odour either, which is a definite plus when it comes to DIY projects indoors. It gets the job done and is perfectly functional.

Having tried multiple brands of pimple patches in the past, I really like the texture, feel, and packaging for Hero’s Mighty Patches. The patches themselves are light, thin, and flexible enough to move with your skin, something that is particularly useful for areas around the mouth. The packaging has the plastic precut, which also prevents the common issue of wearing out the adhesive as you remove it from the sheet.

As someone who regularly double cleanses in my skincare routine, I enjoyed using the Shu Uemura ultime8 cleansing oil. Out of those that I’ve tried, I was impressed by how well the oil glides well on the skin without any tugging or harshness. It’s less viscous than most other oils I’ve tried without being too liquid-y and doesn’t leave much of a residue after it’s been washed away. As with most cleansing oils, it does leave a slight film over the eyes when first applied but rinses away almost immediately. I would still say that it’s necessary to follow up with a second cleanse, but you could get away with simply patting off the residue with a face towel.
It also removes makeup without much of an issue; I tested it with a stubborn mascara and a long-wearing liquid lipstick and both were removed without too much tugging on the skin.
While it did not irritate my skin, there is a slight fragrance when massaging the oil into my skin. I wouldn’t describe it as heavily fragranced, but it is definitely noticeable. I would assume it is from the tsubaki/camellia oil in its description.
Overall it acts as a solid pick for an oil cleanser, one that removes makeup easily without feeling particularly stripping or harsh on the skin. I would consider purchasing this after my current cleansing oil is used up.
