I have a long, thick head full of curls, but with winter ending and summer starting, my hair has really been struggling. It started to feel really coarse and dried out and lost its softness and shine.
After being told about Aveeno's new haircare products I was given the opportunity to try one of them out so I chose this Almond Oil Hair Mist, since it's specifically made for people like myself, with thick, coarse, curly hair. I've used Aveeno bodycare products for many years, so I knew quality was there but I was curious to see how/if it would help my hair crisis.
Just like all Aveeno products, they formulate each and every Almond Oil Mist by starting with oats as its base- and we all know oats help tremendously when it comes to soothing, softening and moisturizing. The oats are then mixed in with an oil-rich blend of both Almond & Avocado Oil, making it the healthiest way to get your hair looking and feeling its very best.
I've been using it for two weeks now and am really impressed with the way it worked for my curls. My hair is so much shinier, softer and hydrated & that's all I could really ever ask for! I really liked how evenly the mist dispensed from the pump in such a nice, steady flow. But my favorite thing about this oil mist is how well it tames my crazy frizz and flyaways. It has definitely helped my hair stay looking well-kept and did it without leaving my hair feeling weighed down or greasy. Did I mention it smells absolutely phenomenal? I'm obsessed with the scent of Almond Oil!
I highly recommend for anyone that, like myself, struggles with thick, coarse, curly locks from time to time.

I've never been a huge fan of liquid foundation, but this one's changed my mind totally.
Firstly, it comes in a squeeze tube with a doe-foot applicator, which I wasn't too fond of in the beginning. I learned real quick, If you pull the applicator out too quickly, the foundation will splatter all over and can definitely get messy- so try to remember to pull the applicator out slowly when using. Since doing so I have not had any messes or mishaps & to be honest, after using it a few times it began to grow on me more and more. I realized it made the whole application process go a lot smoother and gave a clean, seamless look. It also comes in handy when you're low on product, because you can use it to get every last bit of foundation out of the tube so NO wasties! And THAT makes me HAPPY!!
The consistency is on the thinner side, but provides coverage that's very buildable. Applies both easily and smoothly. The finish gives off a beautiful radiant glow that looks natural, without looking overly dewy or greasy like other foundations with "radiant finishes". I normally set my foundation with Wanders infamous Wanderlust & I'm in heaven- I love the look and feel. It wears nicely all throughout the day for me without creasing, settling or needing a touch-up! Highly recommend this foundation!

I've been using this hairspray for almost a month now and honestly wouldn't even think about going back to my old go-to hairspray. I used it once and was sold. First and foremost, it's an unscented non-aero hairspray, which is awesome because it doesn't overwhelm you at all and is safer for the environment than aerosol cans are. It provides an extra-firm control which holds up great for hours, while still keeping your hair soft and manageable. I love the fact that it holds so well without making your hair too hard and crunchy, and/or from clumping together. It definitely has helped keep my hair from frizzing and tames pesky fly-aways like no other. Lightweight feel, doesn't weigh your hair down at all, but best of all- it doesn't leave any white flakes or gunk in your hair and washes out very easily! My new go-to!! If you're in the market for a lightweight hairspray that provides an extra-firm hold without the crunch, this hairspray's for you!!

I love straightening my hair but I always felt like I couldn't wear it straight because my hair gets super frizzy and I wind up battling with pesky fly-aways (especially when its hot & humid), so I figured i would give TRESemme Thermal Creations Flat Iron Spray a try, and I'm glad i did!
It really, really helped relax my wild fly-aways, and completely diminished any frizz, without having to use other hair products to help keep them in place. This spray added a beautiful, healthy and natural-looking shine to my hair without making it look too oily or greasy- which Is what I was afraid of initially.
All in all, I am very pleased with this flat iron spray and the end result i got using it. It kept my hair tame, shiny and manageable, all the while helping to repair and nourish every single strand, and it smells divine! Highly recommended!

I have put my hair through the ringer over the years, and as a result i began noticing lots of split ends, lots of damage and lots of dullness. So when I got the chance to try TRESemmé® Damage Protect Conditioner I was stoked. The consistency of the conditioner was the first thing i noticed. It's perfectly creamy- not too thick, yet not too watered down either. It spread very easily through my hair and coated every strand, ensuring that no hair goes untreated. I really liked how easily the conditioner rinsed out of my hair as well. I noticed that a lot of "thicker" conditioners i have tried in the past tend to take more time and effort to completely rinse out and leave a slick, slime-like residue on my skin afterwards, however this conditioner was clean rinsing. My favorite thing of all is the results I got after using it (along with their Damage Protect Shampoo) for a week straight. My hair went from damaged and dull to healthy and refreshed. It does it all- strengthens, hydrates, softens, tames frizz & fly-aways, repairs split-ends, and adds flexibility & a beautiful, healthy shine! Definitely my new go-to! If your hair is damaged and lacks shine and softness like mine did, this conditioner is most definitely made for you! -

I have been color treating my hair for years, and with that comes major damage. My hair was starting to get really out of control- lots of split ends, frizz, dullness and damage until i started using TRESemme Damage Protect Haircare products.
I've been using TRESemme Damage Protect Shampoo for a few weeks now and am beyond happy with the results I've gotten thus far. I use along with TRESemme Damage Protect Conditioner to get maximum repair and maximum results, and that is exactly what i got- great results! The shampoo spreads really well so you only need a dime-sized amount. It lathers up really, really well and rinses out without any hassle. I liked the fact that it rinsed out the first time, I didn't have to re-rinse 2 or 3x like I normally do, and it didn't leave a slimy, slick residue all over me after rinsing it out either, which is always a plus!
If you struggle with hair that's damaged, coarse, dried out, dull, frizzy and/or full of split ends, this shampoo is definitely for you. You get the full salon look and feel, for a fraction of the cost and in only a few washes!

I have such a love/hate relationship with my hair because it's super long, thick and curly, which is great, but whenever it's sticky and humid out my curls have a mind of their own. My hair becomes unmanageable, knotty and full of frizz and fly-aways that are just out of control. With the weather being so out of wack lately, my hair has been put through the ringer and it was really starting to show. So i figured i'd give something new a try. I wanted a hair product that targets multiple problem areas like frizz, split ends, softening, etc. That's when i came across the opportunity to try Whole Blends Miracle Nectar Repairing Leave-In Treatment on my hair. The bottle is a beautifully rich, golden honey color & has a pump-top that i found to be very easy to push down.
I have gotten a chance to use it these past two weeks and i'm kicking myself in the behind for not trying it sooner! It really is like a hair miracle ... in a bottle!

However, I noticed that it also gave my curls a healthy bounce. My hair hasn't looked or felt this healthy and tame in months.

I feel like I live a somewhat healthy lifestyle for the most part. I work out 5 days a week and eat fairly healthy. However, I just can't bring myself to eat yogurt. So I figured I would give Accuflora Probiotic Supplements a try since they have all the good stuff from yogurt.
I followed the directions and took two capsules a day. Initially, I was worried that the capsules were going to be huge horse pills, but they actually weren't nearly as big or intolerable as i thought. I've been taking them for 30 days and have to say I have definitely noticed improvements. I experience less bloating, less lethargic and my digestive track has never been healthier.
All in all, I enjoyed my experience with Accuflora and would highly recommend them if you're in the market for a new probiotic supplement!

I've been a fan of Essie Nail Polish since day one, so trying their new fall colors was a no-brainer for me. I love, love, love the Empire Shade Of Mind's bold Silver shade. It's attention grabbing & really helps make a statement. The brush is a paddle brush with a rounded edge, which is my favorite feature of all. The rounded edge really helps when it comes to coating your whole nail with just one or two quick swipes, and is literally fool-proof. It makes doing my nails sooo much easier, due to the fact it requires way less strokes to completely cover each nail. I noticed a bit of a difference with their polish's formula as well. I'm not sure if i'm right, but the formula seemed less plastic-y to me, but in the best way possible. It seemed to glide on my nails a lot smoother and coated each nail seamlessly (compared to others), without any issues of tackiness or streaking. Another thing i liked about this polish is the fact that I only needed one coat. I was very pleased with the color payoff. I thought the shade would look darker in the bottle than it did on my nails, but that wasn't the case! I also tried a second coat on my nails and loved the end result even more. It dried fairly quickly and did not chip or peel for almost two weeks, which is almost unheard of- especially because I didn't use a top coat over it & that's a win in my book! I would definitely re-purchase and recommend to anyone that loves a bold silver nail as much as I do!! You wont regret it.

I've been a big fan of the Stainmaster brand and have always trusted in their products but this Stainless Steel Cleaner was just disappointing.
Initially, I was hopeful. Thinking that it was going to be an easy, fool-proof way to get a beautiful, clean, streak-free shine on my stainless steel appliances. However, that hope faded within the first 20-30 seconds because instead of getting that clean, streak-free shine on my appliances, I got super streaky appliances. I did manage to get the streaks to a minimum, but it took me 3 tries and a little elbow grease, but never could get rid of all the streaks.
On a good note, the scent isn't terrible- there's no harsh chemical smell, so it shouldn't be overwhelming to those with a sensitive nose. It removed the yucky fingerprint marks/smudges and stuck-on grease really easily and effectively for me, and for that reason I'm giving this cleaner 3 stars.
