I sold AVON for many years and this lipstick was usually a bonus in gift packs. Needless to say, I have several to keep me going till Doomsday. The smell is really good and I find myself using it more to moisturize than for color. So, for that, I give it a thumbs up, however, for color, I have never been very impressed. I am hard on my lips, so take this with that in mind. It doesn't have a lot of stay power. That's my big gripe, but if you happen to come across a bonus one, I'm sure you'll throw it in your bag. -

I use to sell AVON, so I was getting my skin care for dirt cheap prices. Once I stopped selling, I had to look for a good replacement. I went and tried various products from Clinique to Burt's Bees, but they are all so pricey. So, I decided to go back and use the stuff I used back in high school. I had my hubby pick up a canister of Noxema and gave it a try again. I still love it. I use it in the morning and at night as my cleanser and it is perfect for my sensitive skin. It is moisturizing, but doesn't leave me face feeling unclean. I have to admit, the smell is nostalgic and maybe that's why I love it so much. It brings back memories of summer and high school, so that's a plus for me. It is cheap, smells good, and is an easy skincare regimen. -

Okay, I don't know what it is about me, but lipstick disappears within an hour of use. I am always looking for lip color that stays put. Max Factor has it. This lip color stayed put for most of the day. Now on the average person, this will stay on well into the night. I, however, bite me lip, play with my lips and do anything I possibly can to get lipstick off my lips. This new lipfinity was up to the task though. I even have been using it over other lipsticks to create new shades and the stay power is still there. I have bought two already and am absolutely thrilled with the quality. -

I am such a cheap skate with make-up, but I spent $6, I had a coupon, and I am hooked on this mascara. I love the wand and I swear it has magical properties. It only takes a swipe or two to get the perfect amount on my lashes. I spend a good amount of time in the outdoors, here in Phoenix, so I sweat a lot. I have found that waterproof mascaras tend to flake and non-waterproof give me raccoon eyes. This mascara was perfect. It is waterproof but did not flake. I have told others about it and now a few girlfriends are hooked on it. -

I found sparkpeople a few years ago and they keep getting better over time. I am constantly waiting for them to begin charging because the amount of support you get from professionals in the health and wellness field is impressive. Yet, it remains free and survives on income from ads. However, unlike a lot of ad sponsored websites, sparkpeople's ads are not annoying.
Sparkpeople offers a free online food journal which can be customized with a week of food options. This is great for people who hate to do meal planning. The meals are realistic for the average kitchen and you'll find food that can be made in the standard kitchen. It also contains the nutritional information from restaurants and processed food. I find it useful to log in before going to my favorite restaurant and figuring out my meal before. Then I'm less likely to stray from the healthier choices.
The site boosts a novice friendly exercise section which offers tutorials for various exercises and strength training activities. It also has message boards a hundreds of groups to join. If you are an avid reader, you will find several like minded sparkpeople to talk with.
This is a great place to hand out and learn some healthy tips for living better.
