I have used this product before as my mother owns it, and I've only ever used it cold (didn't even know it can be used hot, not sure if that would feel good on your face anyway). After letting it sit in the fridge I placed it on my face to try to get rid of my almost permanent dark circles and bags under my eyes. It did work quite well, but putting anything cold in that area should make the bags go down; this just made it easier than trying to rub ice cubes under my eyes. I have a tiny head, so this doesn't sit well on my face, and thus, I can only use it while laying down. My mother however, uses this for her headaches and claims that it does take away quite a bit of the tension. -

There is not much to consider when it comes to buying a bar of soap and people really don't pay attention to the one they get (it is just soap after all) but I would highly recommend this particular one, if bar soap is something that you use. This is far more delicate than anything else. It is lightly scented and will leave your hands (or body) feeling moisturized as it lathers on well and actually has moisturizer in it. Unlike other soap, it is also safe to use on your butt crack. If you have ever used a fancy European soap that you can smell from a mile away, or one of those organic ones with grains and other bits of things in them, you will know that they are not good for all body areas and will cause irritation or will scratch you. Or you'll find grain and petal leftovers in areas where grain and petals should not be, which is a real pain in the butt if you catch my drift. So do yourself a favour and get the Dove Beauty Bar. It's safe, smells nice, and works on sensitive skin. -

Even though I wouldn't consider Yves the top brand for vegan/vegetarian meat substitutes, this product is actually one of their best and on par with higher end products of other brands. This ground "meat" comes pre-cooked and only needs to be heated up to serve. These can be frozen to last past the expiration date. You can season it to your liking and use for tacos, lasagna, spaghetti, etc. It is also packed with B12 and iron which is great for those who need to stay on top of their iron and vitamin intake. Additionally, this brand is available in virtually every major grocery store (Loblaws, Metro and even Walmart) and comes at a reasonable price. -

Each packet, which you can purchase individually, contains a single use towelette-like pre-soaked face mask with holes for eyes and mouth. The mask is to be placed on the face for about 15 minutes, preferably before bed. It smells very nice and will leave your face feeling very soft and super moisturized. This particular one (rice) is said to have brightening properties, intended to reduce the appearance of age spots. I did notice that after using this mask a few times my complexion became more even. Additionally, this product is only $2, and often on sale (15 for the price of 10, for example) or added as a free gift if your total purchase from the store exceeds a certain amount. I highly recommend this product, as it will do a great job moisturizing and can help even out your complexion. -

Another amazing product from TheFaceShop. This cherry blossom scented shampoo is great for multiple reasons. It contains Argan oil which helps repair damaged hair. It is light, so if you have thin or curly hair, you don't need to worry about chemical residue weighing your hair down and making it flat. The scent is flowery and very delicate; calming and not overbearing. And lastly, I cannot count the number of times I dropped a shampoo bottle in the shower or struggled to open it or get the last bit of the product out. This shampoo comes with a pump, eliminating all those problems. The bottle is in a lovely shade of pink, with an overall great design. -

This classic candy, looked back on fondly by the "90s kids", is a hard candy shaped like a diamond attached to a plastic ring, which is where the name of the product comes from. This candy comes in several flavours and colours.
Parents - this candy is fairly large and takes a while to finish, and in shape almost resembles a pacifier. So if you need a bit of quiet time, this is a very sweet way to silence a child ;)

The best feature of it is, of course, the bacteria killing and it's ability to get rid of very greasy stains on kitchen stoves or counters, but my favourite trait of this product is that it all dries fast. I can wipe the table with it and 10 seconds later it's perfectly dry. These wipes can be purchased virtually everywhere now, and used for anything - kitchen, bathroom, car... anywhere there's a mess basically. -

Nivea products are very affordable and the lotion is multipurpose - dry hands, allergy hives,sunburns - you name it, it will sooth it. The fragrance is delicate and not over powering. Can be used on sensitive skin, and does not cause breakouts on face. Would definitely recommend this, and other Nivea products. -
