I really liked this. And I am picky when it comes to mascara. It doesn't clump as much as other products, and I could probably get away with 1 coat, but am still applying 2 out of habit. My lashes are long, but this makes them pop! I like that it comes off easily as well. It smudges a bit after alot of wear, but this is definitely a product I will be buying in the future... -

This was my second visit to this restaurant here in London Ontario, and again I was blown away. We started with their calamari topped with spicy sausage tomato caper sauce, and you could tell it was fresh calamari! And so lightly breaded, not the deep friend batter with a bit of calamari one is used to nowadays. I have also had their garlic bread, which impressed me because it came with tapenade. I had a salad as my main course, and it was so huge I couldn't finish it! They have a fabulous selection of salads, and mine was a seafood salad. I love a restaurant that pays attention to its vegetables and salads, treating them as valuable pieces of a meal experience. My boyfriend ordered the lamb, and we were both so surprised by how tender it was, I could have mistaken it for a steak. The service was wonderful, and the decor was really modern and well done. We raved about the food (I let slip my mother's restaurant was in Gourmet and the NYT), and the manager stopped by and gave us free desert! It was quite possibly the best dining experience here in this city, and the salad the best salad I have ever eaten. My only complaint was the price of their beer, but free desert made up for it ;)
Apparently this is a chain, so dash out to the one nearest you for a great dining experience!

I liked this product well enough, it cleaned my skin and left it feeling soft. However I do prefer a wash with texture, to really get that clean feel. This felt almost creamy, and my skin isn't dry in the summer, more oily. I think if anything I would personally use this product in the winter when my skin is the driest and needs a gentle cleanser.
All in all, it does the job well, and will use it again come winter!

I also received this for the product review club. And it too came at a great time! I agree that is is refreshing, and makes me feel clean. It is also gentle, and I love the scent! I am not too picky with my body washes, to me only the scent really matters, as I don't normally have problem skin, but find that soap can be too drying. However, when you share a shower with someone it tends to clutter up quite quickly with his/hers products, from soaps, body washes, loofah, shampoos and conditioners and other special products, it gets cluttered! I really like the pHisoderm because it is appropriate for both sexes. The scent isn't girly or too masculine for either of us, so we can get rid of the addidas for him and the dove for her and just have one product between the 2. Also, I have noticed that my boyfriend's skin outbreaks on his back have reduced! He also quite likes it.
My only complaint with this product is the cap. Too much comes out too quickly, as the product is very thin. I would go for a cap that is smaller so it controls the flow better. Also, you really do need a loofah for this body wash.
Over all I liked it!

A continuation of Jennifer Weiner's "Good in Bed", this book follows the relationship between mother and daughter, what it's like to be a deaf teenager and to have a 'fat' mother. Daughter Joy finds school and friendships difficult because of her hearing impediment, and mother Cannie doesn't understand why her thin, beautiful daughter has problems. I recommend reading the first book in the series to understand Cannie's story, and her struggles with her weight, dating, getting knocked up and dumped, and finally writing a best selling novel about her experiences that nips her in the butt when curious Joy reads her mother's book to piece together her past. And gets it all wrong.
Warning, do not read this book in public! I finished the book on the bus and was completely sobbing! Be prepared to cry, and if you are a terrible blubberer like me, best lock yourself in a room. Funny, heartbreaking and real, this is yet another book I recommend you add to your summer reading list. If a book can make me laugh and cry it definitely gets my vote.

Life Brand teeth Whitening Strips

I have to say I am Iffy about this product. I cannot do tops and bottoms at once because the strips dissolve into a muck, and clogs my mouth until i start to drool or have to spit most of it out. For something that boasts at being effective while you do other things it doesn't pull through. You can only whiten a few teeth at a time, so to catch teeth in the back you need another 2 strips.
I like the way it leaves my teeth feeling afterwards, and it freshens my breath, but it isn't much different from my tray. It was a lot cheaper than other brands, so perhaps I will have to try a different brand (sometimes you do get what you pay for!).
In terms of whitening, my boyfriend says he sees no change thus far, but the instructions do say to use the product a few times a week, and I have only done a few tries. It also states it is safe to use more than once a day, which baffles me into wondering just how effective this product is. I don't smoke, I don't drink coffee, I hate blue berries, and only drink wine on occasion - my only fault is chocolate!
This may be more effective for people with very stained teeth - I will continue to use the product and if there is any change I will make another comment!

I received new luggage for my birthday, and had the opportunity to try it out while on vacation last month. At first I was disappointed because it was navy blue, and I was wanting something really bright and noticeable so it is easier to find in the airport (I usually lose my luggage...and am always prepared for it as a result). But after I traveled with it I didn't care. The luggage is very light, quite impressed with that. The pull out handle is hidden away underneath a zipper, which is safer, and means it is less likely to get damaged en route. Inside it had individual compartments for my make-up, and mesh areas for items that need to breath (and so when they search you they see not to go there!). The large piece came with a suit bag, with extra spaces for accessories. On the outside of each luggage piece was a zippered compartment, and in it it was divided into smaller sections, but it was all plastic! I was really impressed by this, as how many of us have had lotions explode on us mid flight?! No more wrapping everything in plastic bags! Just put spill-able items in each compartment and be worry free. Last minute swim before the flight? No problem! In goes the wet suit!
The set also fits together. Each one clipped to the next, so I could use one hand to pull all 3 items, and the other hand for my passport. Anything that makes traveling less stressful and tiring gets an A in my books!

To be honest, I had no clue what this was. I don't wear alot of make-up on my skin usually, maybe some cream and some concealer, and I was surprised that one person could wear so much on the face, and for it to look so natural and light! It really really impressed me. I even used some on my neck and chest to even out the look. I love the whole line actually. My only problem with this particular one is that it is messy. It doesn't get on my clothing or furniture, but after 2 uses the case was messy and looked like I had it for months. But other than that it was perfect for my skin! -
