Cold FX is awesome if you feel a cold coming on and catch it early enough that the pills/supplements are helpful. I usually grab a small pack as soon as I get the sniffles. You can buy them in different sized bottles, or you can get the little box (what I usually buy) that gives you the exact number of pills you need for a 3-day treatment plan (it's still around $15 for the box though).
I started using Cold FX on the recommendation of a friend, and it's usually my first go-to when I start to feel under the weather. You're supposed to take them daily to prevent colds, but they are WAY too expensive for that.
If you can, look out for when they are on sale - which happens fairly often. A 60- or 30-capsule bottle will last a long time for the 3-day treatment plan (instructions included on bottle) so when the price is reduced, the price is right.

I have been to Lush stores all over the place, and I am always impressed by the product consistency and how informed/friendly the staff are.
There are products for literally every skin and hair type. The staff are great at making recommendations, and can usually tell you all of the ingredients in the product - including how certain ones help your specific need.
A bit pricey, but totally worth it for the results. I have used their shampoo and face soap for years and have always been pleased with the results.
Plus, it smells fantastic in that store all the time.

I would recommend H&M;for basics - but I never really expect to find much else there. I haven't been overly impressed by the quality of the clothing over the past few years, and the designs they are releasing are also unappealing to me (maybe I am just falling out of style?!).
Service is mediocre, but prices are usually pretty good.

I did not like the scent of this product, but the packaging was appealing.
I used this regularly in the morning after my usual cleanse routine, and was pleasantly surprised by the results. Any dry areas of my skin quickly stopped being dry, and I wasn't left with a greasy feeling because it absorbed rather quickly.
I did find, however, after extended use, that the results were not as pleasing as they were originally. Eventually it caused a minor breakout and my skin went right back to being dry in some areas.
I still carry it with me in my purse because it provides a nice temporary solution, but I don't think it is right for my skin type. That said, others might have great success with it because (as mentioned) it worked wonders for the first few weeks of use.

I LOVE this product, but it's a bit too expensive for me. When you use it properly, you get a nice glow. I always use it high on my cheek bones and sometimes across the nose to get a fresh look.
They give you plenty in a bottle, but the shelf life isn't long. It's $20-something at Shopper's Drug Mart, so it's a bit of a pain to buy the bottle and then have to throw away whatever is left a few months down the road.

I used the black version of this religiously for over a year - I recently switched because I was tired of the eye scrubbing required to get it off. It's fantastic because, once you get the hang of it, it stays put FOREVER. I have partied all night, woken up, gone for lunch and actually had people compliment me on my makeup and for looking "pulled together" despite a late night. This stuff isn't a joke.
On the flip side, it can get tiring to scrub it off, especially if you're a daily liquid eyeliner wearer like I am. I once had to fix it after applying while at a wedding (my line wasn't straight enough) and I ended up rubbing a raw spot on my face with a towel, just trying to get the junk off. If you're SUPER fast you can sometimes save a line with a slightly damp Q-Tip, but otherwise, forget about it.

To be fair, I haven't actually been at this restaurant for awhile, but I went when it first opened and had an okay experience. The food wasn't anything special, and the service was totally average. I had been really excited about going because I love micro-breweries, but our entire dinner was overshadowed by the extremely loud atmosphere. A table behind us had a young child that they gave utensils to play with - and the kid repeatedly left their table to randomly stab other patrons. I know it's not their place, but the servers never stepped up to offer an alternative to keep the kid busy.
I figured our visit was a fluke, and recommended the place to my parents a few weeks ago. They returned totally underwhelmed by the place. Their food was cold, the service was average and the ambiance threw them off as well.
So while it looks fun and interesting, I wouldn't recommend this place any more. There are plenty of other options in the immediate area.

It's light and girly and I get compliments all the time that I smell great. Even better, the compliments come hours in to the day, so it doesn't fade or disappear over time! -

My only word to the wise is to avoid using them for serious stains on painted walls. I'm not sure if the formula has changed over the years, but when they first came out I was using one on a sauce stain on a basement wall (old roommate, don't ask how it happened) and it literally peeled the paint directly off the wall. That is how awesome they are! But also, if you want to avoid peeled paint, use wisely!
