I had always heard so much about the Clarisonic and about how well it worked to clean the face. As someone who has mild acne and a dull complexion, I had always wanted to try it but was skeptical that it would make a difference.
After the first day of using it I was sold on it. My skin felt so soft and a type of clean that I haven't felt before. I used to think my skin was clean by how dry it felt, meaning that all the oils were completely cleaned off, so everything else must be too. This was different. It felt clean without being dry, a feeling I find hard to explain.
In my past week or so of using it, I didn't need to use a scrub or an exfoliator to get rid of skin flakes. The Clarisonic was enough exfoliation for me. I also find that I don't have to use as much moisturizer.
There has been a huge improvement with my skin. Every bump that I had is either gone or has diminished. My skin is actually glowing. This is major for me. I feel more confident going out without makeup.
I would HIGHLY recommend the Clarisonic Mia 2. My husband's friend even purchased one for his wife after I told him about it and she is loving it also.

I was pretty excited about the Softlips Cubes when I first heard about them. I had been using eos lip balms and really liked the shape of those for applying to my lips, and I had been a user of Softlips lip balms since i was a teenager, so I was eager to try these out.
I really love how this lip balm applies. It goes on nice and smooth. It smells and tastes very sweet. I really like it. I find it to be very soothing.
The packaging of the products is very appealing to me. While the shape isn't ideal for pants pockets, it does fit nicely into my purse or coat pocket.
Overall, I would highly recommend these to others. The price is a little high, but these last a very long time.

I received the GOSH Mineral Powder to review as part of the Chick-Advisor Review Club.
Out of all the products, I had been most interested in trying this one. I prefer to use a mineral powder as I have combination skin.
Unfortunately this mineral powder did not work well for me, it accentuated every pore and line on my face. The coverage was quite nice but it just did not look good on my skin. I have tried multiple types of brushes and even some primers and always ended up with the same result. No amount of blending worked. I have never had this issue with other powders.
As a result, I cannot recommend this to others. It might work great for others but I think there are better mineral powders on the market.

I really like this blush. It goes so easily and blends really nicely to give a precise, natural look. A lot of the other cream blushes I have used seem to be on the greasy side and many of them break me out, but I have had no issues with this blush at all.
I love the colour that was sent to me. It is so natural looking and perfect for this time of year.
I would highly recommend this blush and I will be checking out the other shades to pick up.

I received the GOSH Double Precision Mascara to review as part of the Chick-Advisor Review Club.
I have to say that I LOVE this mascara. It has a formula that is not overly wet, making it easy to apply without any clumps. It subtly enhances my lashes. My lashes naturally have a bit of volume and length, so this was perfect for me.
I love how it is double ended, one side each for the lower and upper lashes. The lower lash side coats my lower lashes just enough to make them noticeable, which is what I want for a daytime look. The upper side, with its fluffy wand, coats my lashes enough to give me length and a little bit of volume for a nice, natural look.
This is what I have been looking for in an everyday mascara. I want my lashes to look noticeable, but not too over the top.
I would definitely recommend this to others if they have lashes like me that already have a bit of length and volume. For someone who has sparse lashes, I would probably avoid.

I received the GOSH Lip Lacquer in the shade 006 Funky Lips to review as part of the Chick-Advisor Review Club. While this isn't a colour that I would normally wear, as I wear mostly nudes, it was a very pretty colour and it did look great on my lips.
This lacquer has some of the cutest packaging I've seen for a lip product. I love how it looks like a nail polish bottle and opens up to have a doe foot applicator to apply rather than a brush. The doe foot applicator makes application very easy.
The lip formula is very light, but mostly opaque. It did a great job of covering my darker pigmented lips.It has a light floral scent and taste. I didn't mind the scent, but did not enjoy having the taste in my mouth.
All in all, I really like this lip lacquer and I would purchase this in the colours that I normally wear.

The anti-perspirant had a nice smell and felt very smooth. It was easy to apply and didn't leave me feeling wet like a lot of deodorants or anti-perspirant do. It did not transfer on any of my clothing during the time I tried it.
After the two weeks I have tried it, I noticed that my underarm skin looked healthy and moisturised. I also noticed that shaving was easier as a result.
While those were great benefits, I did find that it didn't offer enough protection for me. I had to reapply it again in the evening or after exercising, otherwise I would smell funky. I don't have to do this with most of the other brands of deodorant/anti-perspirants. I wouldn't dare go 24 hours without reapplying, let alone 48. I do think this deodorant would be great for the winter time when I am sweating less, so I plan on trying it again in a few months.
When it all comes down to it, I would recommend it others to try at least once to see if it works for you. It would be beneficial for your skin if you don't have any problems with odour after a few hours or if you don't mind reapplying a few times a day.

I received the CeraVe® PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion to try as part of the Product Review Club.
Right now I am loving this lotion. I usually need to use a heavier lotion at night time to replenish moisture in my dry spots. With combination skin, this leaves the oily parts way too oily, and I just feel pretty gross with the heavy lotions.
I found this moisturiser to be pretty light but it moisturises just as well as the heavier lotions. I had expected it to be heavier than the AM lotion that I received with it, but it was the opposite. I guess the SPF in the AM lotion makes it more emollient.
This makes my skin feels nice after washing and I don't wake up with a greasy face like with my other night lotions.
My skin has been looking and feeling a lot better after using the AM and PM duo. I am now looking into adding the cleanser to my routine.
I would highly recommend this.

I had been a little sceptical about using this lotion because I am prone to acne and most lotions with SPF tend to break me out.
After a few days of using this along with the PM lotion, I had not broken out. In fact, I think it helped reduce the redness around the spots I did have. My skin feels and looks better. I usually have flaking around my nose and eyebrows, but that is gone.
I am pretty excited to have found a good SPF lotion that doesn't cause breakouts. To me that is worthy every penny. I would definitely recommend this to others.

I received a free product coupon to purchase a Lean Cuisine Fresh Inspirations meal to review as part of the Chick-Advisor Review Club. The flavour combination I tried was Mediterranean Chicken.
Going into this, I expected this meal to taste bland. My experience with microwavable meals in the past has not been good. Most meals were tasteless, and did not cook evenly.
It was really easy to heat up. I had to partially cook it, stop to stir the meat and sauce and then resume cooking. Pretty simple.
After letting it stand, I decided to try it, fully expecting it to be cold in some places and scalding in others. Nope! It was heated pretty evenly. The texture was pretty good, the vegetables were soft, but not soggy. It had a nice big chunks of chicken in it, and what surprised me the most was that it had a sauce with flavour. Not watered down at all!
Overall, I found this meal pretty good. It isn't something I would eat daily, but it makes a great meal to have for the days that are rushed. It is low in calories and fat, and high in protein, so you can eat it guilt-free. It would be a perfect lunch or dinner for those following a calorie restricted diet.
I would definitely recommend this. It is one of the best microwaveable meals I have eaten. I'm looking forward to trying some of the other flavours.
