I am a lip balm fanatic. I was at Walmart checking out the lip balms to see if there was anything new and this one caught my eye and I got pretty excited. The Vaseline Lip Therapy in Rosy Lips is one of my favourite balms so I knew I would like it. The voice inside my head told me that the 50+ lip balms at home were enough...so I walked away.
Over the next day I couldn't stop thinking about it so I ran back and picked it up. I am so glad I did! I love it!
Despite having wine extract as an ingredient, I do not find it smells or tastes anything like wine. I find it smells and tastes like rose petals.
I definitely would purchase it again...in fact, I already have a back up picked up since it is Limited Edition. I do hope they keep it around though.

My favourite foundation to use is loose powder so I was pretty happy about getting to try this one out.
At first glance, the colour in the container kind of scared me. It was really orange looking and I was afraid it wouldn't be a good match. After trying it, I found the colour was a pretty good match, but still a little on the orange-side, which is a little weird for a neutral shade. It wasn't too bad though.
I really liked the way it looked on my skin. The coverage is build-able to medium and went on nicely without looking too cakey. I didn't really find that it minimized pores, but it did minimize some redness. It buffs in nicely with the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush. I wasn't too keen on the Mineral Brush 11 that I received with it, it was a little too soft for buffing into the skin or building up. The foundation ads a bit of a glow without making skin look overly shiny. I found it left a natural finish.
The packaging for the foundation is very nice looking. I found that the mesh sifter made it hard to control how much as I wanted. With powder foundations I prefer to tap some out and swirl with the brush and this packaging made it a little harder but it is still possible. That was only a minor problem though.
I would continue to use it in the future and purchase it.

I'm not someone who tends to use primer unless it is a special occasion and even then I usually only use a pore minimizing primer or an illuminating primer.
I was not a fan of this primer. It had a scent that I did not like. I found it did nothing for my skin at all. It was a little hard to apply as it would tend to get tacky pretty quickly and it sort of stayed tacky. I did not notice any difference from when I wore it and did not wear it.
I think I will skip it from now on.
Editor's note: Thank you for your feedback. The Perfecting Primer should absorb well into the skin, it should leave the skin feeling smooth and refreshed without being sticky or tacky. The primer is composed of active natural ingredients, including the native Australian Kakadu Plum and other rich antioxidants to help benefit the skin. The natural green tea and citrus scent should dissipate quickly once applied. If you want to try using it again, we can provide some tips to assist. You only need to apply a small amount of primer as it goes a long way. Try working the primer into the skin in a circular motion to assist with even application and absorption, and maybe leave extra time for your moisturiser to dry before applying. Please feel free to contact us directly if you have any further questions or require assistance [email protected].

The brush is a good quality brush that is very soft and well made. It is good for someone who wants to apply a light amount of the powder foundation or use it for applying a setting powder, or even blush or bronzer. It is pretty versatile. Personally I don't find it great for buffing or building up powder foundation. I would rather use a denser brush that I can buff into the pores.
I would recommend it for other uses but not for applying a powder foundation.

Mott's Fruitsations were already an occasional purchase for my household. They are one of the only fruit products that my son who has food texture issues will eat. It was nice to see that they had a Fibre option because it is hard to get Fibre into my children's diets, especially the one that avoid fruits and vegetables due to textures.
I got to try this flavour along with Tropical. I had assumed my kids would like this flavour more than the Tropical, but they preferred the Tropical more. They both said this one was still good and they would eat it again, but they found the Raspberry taste subtle in comparison.
I would probably buy it again.

They were given the fruit snacks this morning before school. This flavour was really liked by both kids. They both said that it had a nice tropical taste and they would like me to keep purchasing this flavour.
I will definitely be buying again!

I was really excited to have this come because I had been waiting to colour my hair as my roots were showing pretty well.
Application was simple enough. I found it pretty easy to control the spray and cover. I found it very messy and it was splattering dots all over my face. Easy enough to wipe off for the most part up to the hair line which would just result in wiping the product off the hair if you went too close.
The colour match was excellent and it did a pretty good job of covering most of my greys, but it also covered my scalp, which made it noticeable that I had product in my hair, especially in areas that I had to use more product as the scalp area would build layers and look really dark.
I managed to get it all cleaned up and decent looking. When it dried it sort of mattified and it had a slight texture similar to that of after using dry shampoo.
Now here is where I had a problem...if you touch your hair or scalp, it will transfer. Even hours afterward when it is fully dry. There were a few times I looked down and I had brown fingers from either scratching my head or maybe running my hands through my hair....then I went to look in the mirror and it was all over my forehead and and other parts of my face that I had unknowingly touched afterwards. I almost left the house with it all over my face. I can imagine this would be a nightmare if your hair gets wet outside. It also transferred a lot to my pillow case.
I can't see myself using this again. I don't want to risk getting this all over my face and hands in public.
I can not recommend this.

I love Batiste Dry Shampoo. I've been using it for years.
I've seen this one available at Amazon and thought I'd give it a try.
It said it had a "sweet and delicious fragrance" so I assumed it was more of a fruity type of scent. I found it to be more of a florally sweet scent, not something I would label delicious.
All Batiste varieties tend to leave a white cast on my medium to dark brown hair, but this one was really bad. Usually it takes a bit of spraying before the white is noticeable but this comes out white from the get-go.
Overall, it still does a great job at refreshing and absorbing oils, but it needs a bit more time absorbing and brushing to make sure the white residue isn't noticeable.

I've been wearing The Body Shop's Whitemusk since I was a teenager. I love it. I usually wear the perfume oil but my bottle was getting old and I decided to go for the spray this time instead.
I am so disappointed in the spray. When first applied it is way too strong and cheap smelling. After a while it starts to smell like the White Musk we know and love...but I don't like having to wait for that and I worry about how it smells to others.
Next time I will stick to buying the perfume oil, eau de parfum, or eau de toilette.

I received the PowerBar ProteinPlus Reduced Sugar Creamy Chocolate Peanut Butter bar to review as part of the Chick-Advisor Review Club. #gotitfree
Low carb, low sugar protein bars are something that I consume quite often. They were a staple when I followed the Keto diet. I found in comparison to the others I have tried it, it was a lot softer. I tend to go for the chewier textured bars.
I found this flavour to be nice. It had a nice mixture of peanut butter and chocolate and it was pretty rich. I found it to have a taste similar to that of protein bars with chocolate in it...a noticeable soy flavour that some people tend to not like. I found it very enjoyable though and it had just the right amount of sweetness.
As for filling me up. I found it did an excellent job of that. It left me feeling satisfied and I could make it to my next meal without any issues.
I would buy this one again. The price is is significantly lower than other sugar reduced bars on the market.
