I received the Polysporin Blister Treatment to review as part of the Chick-Advisor Review Club.
My husband had recently gotten a pair of shoes for work that he just couldn't wear long enough to break-in due to it causing horrible blisters. He had tried in the past with adhesive bandages but they would just rub off or still cause pain.
He volunteered himself to try out the Blister Treatments since I didn't have any blisters at the time to use them on. After a half an hour of wearing his new shoes, a blister started to form on one foot. He put the Treatment on both feet, one to treat and one to prevent and it helped immediately. The pain from the blister was gone. He was able to wear the shoes daily with the Blister Treatments on, having to change them every 2 days. They are now broke in enough for him to wear the shoes daily.
I am really impressed with the Blister Treatments and plan to purchase more. I have 2 kept in my purse "just incase". I would highly recommend them!

I received the Amopé Pedi Perfect Electronic Foot File to review as part of the Chick-Advisor Review Club.
The handle on the Amope quite large, I'd like to see it be a tad sleeker to make it easier to hold. It has a nice rubber-like coating on it though which makes it easy to get a grip on it.
There is a replaceable head which is easy to remove for washing with an eject button on the side.
The Amope has one speed setting. It works really great on areas that are rough and really dried out. You can actually see the skin dust dropping to the area below and in the air (gross I know! LOL). When it comes to areas that are callused, I find it does a mediocre job. I find In these areas I have to push down a bit more, which causes the Amope to slow down drastically. If I concentrate on this area it will remove some of the callused skin, but it is way too time consuming. It would be easier to use a callus remover and then use the Amope to focus on smoothing out the area afterwards.
In the end, I was satisfied with it. It did make my feet a lot smoother and it removed a lot of the dry skin I had.
I also have an Emoji Micro-Pedi and I find it works almost exactly the same. The Emjoi has a sleeker handle which I like and you can get replaceable heads that have different grits so you can get coarser heads for areas that have thicker skin, as far as I know, the Amope doesn't have different grits available for its replaceable heads. Both products are similar in price.
If I had to pick one, I'd pick the Emjoy because I prefer the handle and because I can get a coarser head for my calluses.
I recommend this for people who have dry, coarse, cracked feet that need to be smoothed out or if you have calluses and a lot of patience.

I received the Coppertone Sunscreen Lotion Sensitive Skin Faces SPF 50 to review as part of the Chick-Advisor Review Club.
Sadly, due to our rainy weather in my area as of late, I wasn't able to test it outside as much as I would have liked to. I did apply it most days though for testing purposes.
First I want to get the negative out of the way.
I found the lotion to be quite thick, which made it difficult to blend out, leaving my skin with the typical white cast that you get from sunscreen. While it was quite thick and did feel tacky for a little while, I was surprised that it felt quite light afterwards.
Another issue I had was that if it gets close to my eyes, my eyes water quite a bit, despite the fact that I do have any sensitivity or allergy issues that I know of. I've had this issue with some other sunscreens as well.
Lastly, this isn't a major issue, but I've had to switch from being able to use a liquid or cream foundation to a powder. My face just feels way too heavy with this sunscreen paired with liquid foundation. I have no issue with powder foundation though.
With the negative out the way, let's move on to the positive.
The biggest positive for me...no breakouts! I've only had one other sunscreen that I use that doesn't cause me to break out and it is difficult to get in my area, so I am quite happy about this.
Another positive is that it is 50 SPF. I love that it is this high. My father and grandfather both had skin cancer, so wearing as much SPF as I can is really important to me.
I also love that it is waterproof, so I can go swimming with it on. In the past I had put waterproof sunscreen meant for the body on my face while swimming.
All in all, I really like this sunscreen despite the few issues I have with it. My husband has been wearing it also and he also likes it. I would recommend it to anyone, sensitive skin or not.

I received the I received the Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep to review as part of the Chick-Advisor Review Club to review as part of the Chick-Advisor Review Club.
I was really interested in trying this as I am not normally a night cream user. Often night creams are too heavy for me and cause me to break out.
After using the Idealia Skin Sleep for a few weeks, I did find it quite rich, but I haven't had any breakouts at all. I find it to be a little too emollient for me though, it makes me feel a little too greasy at night. I think it may be great for me for the winter months since my skin is pretty dry during this period. After using it in conjunction with the Idealia Life Serum my skin has been looking great though. My skin has been looking smoother and healthier.
I normally love the Vichy scent, but I find the scent in this product a little too much. It has a slightly different smell. Nothing too major as it seems to be less noticeable a few minutes after applying. I thought I would mention this for those who aren't fans of scented products or are sensitive.
I am on the fence about this one. I am not sure if I would purchase it in the future. I do like the results I am getting, but feel it is too uncomfortable to wear due to its richness.
I would recommend it to others, especially those who are night cream users or are in need of a really hydrating cream.

I received the Vichy Idealia Life Serum to review as part of the Chick-Advisor Review Club. This is a product that I have been really wanting to try for a while but was worried about spending the money.
I have been using it daily for a few weeks now and I am LOVING it. It is so lightweight, absorbs quickly and it makes my skin look so radiant without looking greasy. It has some shimmer in it, but it is very subtle.
My skin has been so fussy lately and has been breaking out easily but this did not bother my skin at all. If anything, it made it look healthier than it has in years. In the day time I wear this alone as I find it quite moisturizing by itself. I just add a SPF cream if I am going out.
It should be noticed the the Idealia Life Serum does have a scent for those who have issues with scents or prefer unscented. I enjoy the smell and don't find it too overwhelming at all.
The Vichy Idealia Life Serum will be a product that I will be purchasing in the future. It has been working so well for me that I don't mind paying the higher price. I would recommend it to others.

I think it would be great for younger people who have very little to cover and are looking to even out their skin tone.

I received the Vichy ProEVEN Advanced Daily Dark Spot Corrector to review as part of the Chick-Advisor Review Club.
Since this is a product that that takes some time to show results, I will base my review on what I had experienced so far.
I have been using the Vichy ProEVEN Advanced Daily Dark Spot Corrector for a few weeks now and I am really enjoying it. I had switched to using it morning and night after using the ProEVEN Night which broke me out horrible. I have had no breakouts with the Daily Dark Spot Corrector. If anything, my skin looks better after using it.
It has a lovely scent which isn't too overwhelming. The lotion itself is a little thin, which can be a little messy. I find it to be very light to wear, but enough to hydrate my skin. I feel that I do not need to add any other lotions with this. This thin texture makes it really comfortable for me as I do not like to wear a heavy moisturizer.
I did not notice any lightening of dark spots, which is expected due to the time frame, but I have noticed that my skin looks more radiant and it feels softer.
I am looking forward to seeing more results as time goes on. I would recommend it to others.

I received the Vichy ProEVEN Night to review as part of the Chick-Advisor Review Club.
First and foremost, I have to say that I had to stop using the product as it was causing me to breakout. I confirmed this was the cause by starting and stopping the product several times with the same result. I've never had this happen with other night products before.
With that said, I still think this is a great product based on the usage that I did have. It has a great scent, and it seemed to deeply moisturize my skin without feeling too heavy. I did not notice any lightening of the spots that I have, but it left my skin looking nourished and it definitely was more radiant. I suspect that with some commitment to this product for several months, then results would be noticeable.
So this is the tough part. I don't want to not recommend the product based on my experience because it doesn't meant it wouldn't be a great product for others. So in the end, I would recommend it to those who are willing to spend the money to try it.

I received the Batiste Dry Shampoo Original Clean & Classic to review as part of the Chick-Advisor Review Club.
I like to go as long as I can without washing my hair to help prevent damage and preserve my hair colour. Since I workout daily this can be a challenge. As a result, dry shampoo has been my best friend.
I had always put off trying Batiste Dry Shampoo because it was more costly than other brands. I've always heard it was good, but I figured it wasn't good enough to pay more.
I could not have been more wrong! First off, this dry shampoo smells AMAZING! I love it. It sort of reminds me of the smell of Froot Loops. Nice and sweet. I have had zero issues with the nozzle and clogging which has been a big issue I have with other dry shampoos. It sprays out nicely each time.
Although the formula is white, it doesn't seem to leave the same type of white residue that I get from other dry shampoos that makes my hair look like it has a grey cast. It seems to work its way into my hair to absorb as much oil as possible without being noticeable.
As a result, it leaves my hair looking and smelling fresh and it makes my hair really manageable and easy to style. It does not feel dirty, heavy or sticky like some dry shampoos do to my hair.
So from now on, this is going to be my go-to brand. In fact, I've already picked up a can at Shopper's Drug Mart this week. It is worth the price. From what I see, they have more formulas available, and I am pretty excited to give those a try too.
I would HIGHLY recommend this dry shampoo.
