My friend bought this and ended up giving it to me because she didn't buy the right one, and it matched my skin tone perfectly. I hit the jackpot. I find that this product gives a good amount of coverage as it has made me look presentable on days when my skin had decided to break out overnight. This is one product that is in my daily make-up routine. MAC is usually found to be expensive, but I'm more than willing to pay the price for this one! -

I'm a sucker for anything with a vanilla scent and this is probably what captivated me with the smell. At first the scent is a bit of a shock to the senses, but once it settles it's a very warm vanilla inspired scent. I try not to over-do it because it still is a fairly strong scent. -

After trying just about every nail polish brand I could get my hands on, I finally decided to give Essie a try. I was always hesitant due to the slightly expensive price, but the quality of the product made it definitely worth it. Especially if combined with a good quality top coat, this brand of nail polish does not chip as easily as others. I actually tested this out by painting two nails with two different brands and going about a high activity day and the Essie nail polish did not chip, and the other brand did. My favourite go-to colours: Lilacism, Turquiose & Caicos, and Bikini So Teeny. -

Once in a while I will have a phase where I will drink these for a week non-stop. I tend to go for the orange "Essential" flavour because I love orange flavoured drinks, or the yellow "Energy" flavour because it claims to have caffeine in it. Some of the other flavours aren't quite as enjoyable for me, but they are a nice alternative if I think I'm lacking with a certain vitamin. -

I found this to be a great substitute for putting milk or cream in your coffee. I was surprised to find out that these are lactose-free (I'm not sure if they all are, but the ones I've seen have been) and for me that was like finding treasure. I would usually use this in my iced coffee to give it a little bit extra flavour, usually using the French Vanilla flavour. -

I usually walk into Starbucks expecting to buy one of the most expensive and extravagant drinks possible, but when Starbucks launched their blonde roast I was definitely interested to finally try just normal coffee (I was also on a budget and buying regular coffee was much cheaper). I asked the cashier her opinion on the different roasts and she compared the blonde roast to Tim Hortons coffee. So I gave it a try, added some sugar and it was actually a really nice coffee. Nothing too strong or acidic in taste, and yet still gave me enough caffeine to stay awake if I was tired. I was never able to try it with milk, so that may be an idea for next time I get it. With a low cost and a sweet taste (mostly because I added sugar) it would be something I would get again, but most likely in the fall and winter seasons when it's a bit cooler out. -

I gave in and decided to treat myself to a face mask, and went straight to Lush to find one that I liked. I saw the "Mask of Magnaminty" right away and smelled the peppermint smell of it and was hooked. The mask itself had a cooling effect when I put it on because of the ingredients in it and it worked to fight against redness in my skin as well as many other features. The following morning I found that there was less redness throughout the skin and any pimples had started to vanish. If you fit into the skin type that this mask works best for, I'd highly recommend it. As a bonus, it's a body mask, so it can be used for more than just your face! -

I was in the market for a new blush and picked up this one in "Dollface", something light enough to not stand out too much on my fair skin. The cashier even noted that it was one of the best blush products and would match my skin tone perfectly. From the first application I was impressed with the colour and the staying power it had throughout the day. It was a nice pale pink to add to my cheeks and didn't make my look like a clown. I'm interested in seeing how other shades would look in comparison, but the cost is a bit much to experiment so I'll probably just stick with the one I have for now. -

I walked into Sephora one day with the intent to find a black liquid eye liner that would be easy to use and last longer than most other eye liners I've tried in the past. I don't remember what I had originally picked, but the product wasn't even in the box when I got to the cash and the cashier recommended the Stila All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner instead - with high praise. She was right! This liquid eye liner goes on very smoothly and stays put through long and stressful days. I would recommend this product to everyone and plan to try it in different colours in the future for different effects! -
