iRobot Roomba 880 Vacuum Cleaning Robot
I have a love-hate relationship with the 880! When it works, its fantastic... but went it cannot find the dock, it is such a pain!! It will spend nearly an hour heading towards and away from the dock as well as spinning in circles as if it is lost... +
I have a love-hate relationship with the 880! When it works, its fantastic... but went it cannot find the dock, it is such a pain!! It will spend nearly an hour heading towards and away from the dock as well as spinning in circles as if it is lost. The sensor on top of its docking station is always clear though, so I have still not found a solution for this problem. With that being said though, I received this as a wedding gift nearly three years ago and the robot still cleans on a daily basis. It picks up nearly everything although leaves from my husband's lemon tree are a bit too large! Great for daily upkeep and especially for those with pets! We have two cats and this robot does an excellent job picking up their fur. It can programmed to run as much as seven days a week and at anytime of the day. I have personally found that 1pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays is enough to manage dirt and cat hair in addition to using a regular vacuum once monthly. Although in an ideal world, it would amazing if the iRobot could do it all, in reality there are still corners and ledges that need some love! We have a Dyson Animal Vacuum for those. Overall, a fairly good product, but not worth the premium price. If you are to purchase it, get it on sale!! -

I do find that the freeze dried strawberries MUST be soaked in milk for some time in order to taste alright though; definitely don't recommend pouring milk and chowing down immediately, wait for a bit to let out the sweetness! Tastes great with almond milk and is a good choice for the health conscious compared to most mainstream options! Nice crunchy and not too sweet flavour! Great as an afternoon snack or in the afternoon. Similar crunch and taste to vector, those a bit softer and sweeter. -

The greatest laundry detergent I have used in my search for a natural alternative so far!! Leaves a wonderful light lavender smell on your freshly washed garments and towels without the heavy fragrance itch (most other laundry detergents cause my skin to experience redness or break out). Easily found at Walmart, Costco, and at any health food retailer (I personally buy mine at Whole Foods or Pomme Natural Market when I am unable to get it from my local Costco). Works just as effectively for both hot and cold cycles and for gentle or heavy cleaning needs. Ingredients are plant derived, biodegradable, and scented soap fragrances (like this lavender one) are derived from essential oils! Great product at a very competitive price! Gentle enough for the most sensitive skin! -

Love this unscented natural dishwashing liquid! Amazing for sensitive skin! I have never had a breakout when washing dishes with this product; all other dishwashing liquids on the market leave my hands dry and chapped. This product has been a miracle for me! Does a super effective job cleaning my dirty dishes, glasses, and flatware at an incredibly reasonable price. Super high quality product that is worth every penny. Highly recommend this, especially to those households with growing families! Gentle enough for even the tiniest hands :) This is as natural as it gets for dishwashing liquid! Fragrance free, pH balanced, 100% biodegradable, and gentle on hands! We will never buy anything else. -

My favourite dishwashing liquid scent from my favourite brand! This is the only product I can use that does not leave me with dry, flakey skin! I don't have to use horrible, heavy cleaning gloves for hand washing any longer. Does a super effective job of cleaning my dishes as well without a heavy soapy, chemical smell; use with a soft microfibre towel on China and a scrubbing brush for all other less delicate dishes. Also does a reasonable job cleaning dirty baking dishes although I still personally like to throw mine into the dishwasher afterwards for extra sanitization! This is the only brand of dishwashing liquid we buy in our household. Gentle enough for me and at a very reasonable price. Available at most health food stores and some other major retailers (Walmart USA). -

Best glass cleaner out there (although I continue to search for more natural alternatives)... period! Super versatile product as well! Nothing else gives you a streak free clean like Windex Original. I personally use this with newspaper (thanks for teaching me this trick, mom!) when washing windows for a perfect transparent clean. The scent is also fairly tolerable although with my asthma, I still have to keep a window open while I work. Amazing cleaning power! -

Daiya's best dairy free Cheezecake flavour! Super convincing for non-vegans as well! My husband loves this product just as much as I do :) definitely has a wonderful key lime taste (which is essential for disguising the tapioca flavour associated with most Daiya products). Cuts just like dairy cheesecake and has a very similar texture! Egg, dairy, gluten, and soy free! Ideal for those who suffer from various allergies (in my case, my husband has a gluten allergy while I have a dairy allergy so this was the perfect solution)! -
