A random but rewarding BC Ferries purchase! Upon returning from Victoria with my husband, I remember my sister telling me that she had found a super natural, vegan, paraben, fragrance, and gluten free cosmetics line at the gift shop when she had travelled to the island. I purchased this product in the same shade as she did (Ocean Surf) as I was always looking for a better solution to a natural and effective foundation (I personally now use Dr. Hauschka as I have found the quality to be worth every bit of the price). This foundation was great for the time being and provides excellent coverage for a middle range natural product. If you are looking to use an item that is cruelty free to both animals and your skin at a great price point, this is definitely the way to go. However, as I've never seen it anywhere besides the Ferry gift shop (I've heard its available at a pop up shop at Willowbrook Mall), be warned that it may be a challenge to find unless you are to purchase it online. Decent texture (slightly runny) although a bit too colour-thick so that I was required to be cut it with moisturizer to match my skin tone; foundation colours are quite specific (only five options) but this product is worth the added effort for its great value effectiveness. -

Super hydrating body lotion! Great for arms, legs, elbows, and even hands! I personally like less oily products despite my sensitive dry skin and found that this moisturizing, natural lotion was the perfect consistency. Although not runny, this lotion is perfectly thin, moisturizing, and spreadable at the same time! Can cover a large amount of surface area with only a bit of product while providing super intense hydration! Great moisturizer for anyone looking for a lightweight non-oily body treatment. -

A fantastic natural remedy for blemishes even on the most sensitive skin. I started using this product just before my wedding day and was very pleased with the results. From the stress of actually planning the big day to skin treatments and trying out new products to give me a flawless face, I was feeling the effects. The Zap stick is a natural spot treatment by Saje that was gentle enough to clear up my dry skin; although intended for acne prone skin, I didn't experience any worsening of my symptoms. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a gentle and effective means of treating small blemishes! -

A must have for dates and on set!! I'm personally not a fan of chewing gum (I dislike the texture, taste, and noise) and get irritated by the smacking sound many others make when they chew it. I find using something like a Listerine strip much more professional when at work (especially important in the beauty industry; I work in make up and spend plenty of time working very closely to my clients, a similar dilemma faced by those working in hair and nail salons) but prefer this breath spray due to its natural ingredients and the fact that the scent does not linger as long as the strips (and is not nearly as potent). Its also better value and more economic than Listerine strips! Recommend this for anyone needing fresh breath without the nuisance of chewing gum! Fantastic product! -

I swear by this lavender scented mist!! Spray this on yourself, spray this on your pillow, and spray it on your bedsheets for a fantastic night's sleep! Helps to slow down your mind and provides a soothing and balancing effect on the body. The fragrance smells so natural and fresh and although mostly lavender, also has notes of orange and bergamot (yum!!). I use this product nightly to help me unwind! This is a must try for anyone who has difficulty falling asleep. -

An incredibly calming way to finish a long day. I absolutely love all Saje bath salts but the lavender scent is my absolute favourite. Smells just beautiful and is 100% natural; allows me to let my mind unwind after using plenty of brain power! I have a very difficult time turning it off after the day is over and the lavender line is my go to for a soothing evening (also try the Unwind Anti-Stress Mist!!). The bath salts dissolve evenly in hot water while creating a silky soft texture that leaves your skin feeling hydrated and rejuvenated! -

High quality natural sunscreen alternative! Smells beautiful and it works. I've been using this Saje product for more than 2 years now and could not be happier with the results. While I do have to reapply more often as it is SPF 15 (which provides protection from 93% of UVB rays), I find that this level of protection is more than enough for daily use. For a significant amount of time spent outdoors though, I would recommend choosing SPF 30! For daily use, I follow my moisturizer with this sunscreen and wait a few minutes before applying my foundation. I highly recommend others doing the same as well! The consistency is not too creamy (like most sunscreens) and also not too thin to slide off of your skin like water. It actually takes on the role of a perfect primer :) -

We both love how fresh this scent is as well as how effective this 2 in 1 really is; while some other duo products have left his hair a bit greasy, this is the perfect product to give my hubby what he wants - a quick, effecient, clean! He also uses this on his beard when it gets to its lengthier growth stages. Leaves my husband's hair and beard feeling soft and healthy and delays how often I have to give him a hair cut! Love this product! Always buy the extra large size when it's on sale! -

Best cotton swab for on the market! Extremely versatile and the most effective cotton swab when wet (others become too dry and stiff or start losing cotton). I use these for everything from the standard ear treatment to sharpening winged eyeliner, cleaning up fallout eyeshadow and uneven foundation to colouring face charts (makeup artist tasks!). When it comes to makeup application, as much as the nail cotton swabs are thin, I still feel that these do a more effective job when wet for liquid and gel liners as well as touching up lip liner and colour. Nothing else compares to Q-tips! -

A couple of dollars extra, but worth the cleanliness; there is a fairly big difference in taste as well (if you can believe it, the organic variety is even juicier!!). Will always choose this brand! -
