Dove Shower Foam Deep Moisture Foaming Body wash has such a light formulation, but it still made me feel clean and fresh, and didn't dry my skin.
It took a few uses for me to get used to the fact that i didn't have to work it into a lather before using it. But it's so light and fresh. Since you don't have to work it into a lather, I feel like it rinses off so much easier than other body washes, and it could be the reason why my skin didn't feel as dry after having a shower. All in all, it's a really great product and I would highly recommend it to anyone with sensitive or dry skin.

Dove Shower Foam Cucumber & Green Tea Scent Foaming Body wash has such a light formulation, but it still made me feel clean, and didn't dry my skin.
It's hard for me to get used to foaming anything: foaming hand soaps, foaming face washes, and now foaming body washes. It took a few uses for me to get used to the fact that i didn't have to work it into a lather before using it. But it's so light and fresh, and cucumber is my favourite scent from Dove, so I love how I smell after using this product. Out of the 3 that I received, this one is my favourite in terms of scent.

After wearing "higher end" active wear for a long time, I was looking for a more affordable brand when I had to get fit again after having kids. I received an email that old navy was having a sale on their active wear, and decided to take the plunge. Worst case scenario, I would wear them out and about instead of at the gym, and it wouldn't have cost me all that much. Anyways, I got a pair of pants and a couple of tops to give them a try. I have to say I love how the pants fit on me. they actually fit a lot better than other brands I've tried, even the more expensive ones. They don't fall when I'm on the treadmill, and they're not restricting either. They're really breathable. The tops are nice because they're loose fitting (I don't like working out with clothing stuck to my body... and at the time I was working to lose the baby weight so I didn't want every curve showing) and very comfortable. I ended up going back during another sale, and even picking up some pieces that were in their clearance section. -

I have the lavender and rosemary essential oils from Escents, and they're great for diffusing, or diluting into a spray bottle to spray on linens for a relaxing sleep. I used the rosemary essential oil in my son's room when he had a stuffy nose because I don't have eucalyptus, and he had a great sleep. Like all essential oils, they're pricey, but you get pure oils, so it's worth it. And they also have "oils of the month" where they feature a couple of their oils for half price. That's an easy way to affordably build your collection slowly. -

I get dry hands from constantly washing my hands, and I use this hand lotion throughout the day to keep the dryness at bay. It's not the type of lotion that lasts through hand washings, so you'll have to reapply again after you was your hands. It's a nice size to keep in your purse so you can bring it with you wherever you go. The scent is amazing, although I have become a little sensitive to stronger scents after being at a scent free workplace for so long, so if it was a little more muted, it would be better for me, personally. -
I've used Tresemme products since high school and they have always been great. This product leaves y hair feeling clean and shiny, but not at all greasy. It smells nice and the scent lasts.

The best eyelash curler that I've used! I've tried different brands, but i always end up going back to my trusty tweezerman. It adds a nice curl (and not just bends my poker straight lashes up), and it fits my eyes nicely (i.e. curls inner, middle, and outer lashes). I also appreciate that it comes with several replacement rubber pads. I think it came with 3-4 replacements. -
The revlon eyelash curler is a nicely made product. It's sturdy, and the rubber pad is firm, and doesn't feel like you're going to cut your lashes while you're curling it. I'm giving it a lower rating though because it doesn't really work for me... +
The revlon eyelash curler is a nicely made product. It's sturdy, and the rubber pad is firm, and doesn't feel like you're going to cut your lashes while you're curling it. I'm giving it a lower rating though because it doesn't really work for me. I feel like maybe it's meant for people with bigger eyes or something, because while it curls the inner and middle lashes, it doesn't reach the outer lashes, no matter how hard I try... so I had to trash it and get a different one that worked better for me. -

Absolutely necessary for baking!
When you need to cream butter for cookies, or making frosting, or when you have to whip egg whites for meringues or macarons, it is ESSENTIAL to have a stand up mixer, and the Kitchen Aid mixer is amazing! I've been able to do a lot more baking for family events and fundraisers since I got my mixer.
I have to admit though, that for things that I can get away with using a whisk or spatula for, I keep the mixer in its cabinet to avoid the clean up, but for larger jobs, it's a life saver.

My cousin convinced me to get one after I had my first child, and I got it on sale. The first time I used it, it freaked me out because I couldn't get it out... then I realized I was tensing up so couldn't get to it... whoops! After learning that, the Diva Cup is so easy to use, and I'm never going back to pads or tampons. Going swimming with it is great (just make sure it's completely dry before you put it in), and you don't have to worry about changing a pad or tampon every hour or two on heavy days.
One piece of advise to people who are worried about having to empty it in public washrooms (which i was, especially after getting job in a place where there are stalls - my previous job had the convenience of individual washrooms): keep baby wipes or sanitary wipes with you when you go to the washroom. You could use toilet paper, or wet a paper towel before you go into the stall, but I found that wipes clean it a lot better... paper towels bunch up awkwardly and don't clean it as well.
