At a purchase price of $12.99 you really can't beat this mascara. I have seen it at Shoppers recently but you V can also purchase at other major retailers as well. -

Mary Kay Gel Semi-Matte Lipstick is a full coverage lipstick retail price $21.This item can be purchased through the MaryKay.ca website in addition to your local Independent Beauty Consultant! The colour I tried today was Poppy Please-not my usual colour a bit bright for me but it does work with my skin tone! The lipstick feels smooth and doesn't have that "cakey" feel to it. I would purchase this product again in a different shade! -

Tried the Estee Edit pore vanishing stick-this product claims to glide on for a fresh natural pore free look instantly. It has definitely helped to tame the shine on my combination skin! Not sure how it performs with makeup I'll have to come back and review. Initial application made my skin feel smooth and shine free as previously mentioned.

I love Simple Kind to Skin Cleansing Wipes! They effectively wipe the makeup off for Chickadvisors showcase review. However this is a product I have used in the past! Love taking it with me when traveling. Leaves my skin feeling fresh and you don't get that "dry" feeling that sometimes happens after using wipes.

bareMinerals Marvellous Moxie has been my go to lipgloss lately. I love the way it keeps my lips moisturized and stays put for a few hours. Sometimes all you need is a bit of this gloss and you can head right out the door. I probably reapply about twice a day the colour doesn't seem to fade completely but when I want that EXTRA colour I don't hesitate. The retail price at Sephora Canada is $23. I recently picked up Daredevil for the fall but Stunner is also one of my favourites. Both colours always attract compliments. -

Oh my! My friend offered me Sombersby Apple Cider this week and I'm glad I tried it! It was perfect and much needed during the humidity!! Very refreshing and I love the hint of Apples. I plan on heading to LCBO to buy a few for myself! There are a few other flavours-pear, blackberry, and elderflower to name a few. Never been a fan of cider till I tried Sombersby! Retail price is $2.95-$3.10 for one and $24.50 for a case of 8. Each can is 500ml. In my opinion a great price for this summer treat....or any other time of the year for that matter! -

I was able to test Vichy Idealia Eyes for free through Chick Advisors Product Review Club. This was the third item in the set of Vichy products I tested and my least favourite. There is a light scent (not an issue) you can squeeze onto finger tip to apply or apply with applicator attached to the product. It claims to be fast absorbing but I didn't find that to be the case. It's not a terrible product I just have used other eye creams that I feel get the job done. I don't feel it had any significant change to my eye area. It just didn't 'stand out'. Retail price $39.95 for that price I'll look elsewhere. -

This product is marketed as " your first corrective care for the early signs of aging. Enriched with Vitamin E and Kombucha, it improves skin radiance and minimizes the look of fine lines and pores".
I honestly thought my skin looked brighter after use! This moisturizer glided on easily and absorbed quickly into my skin. There were days I used it over my sunscreen and found it was a perfect combo for days when I needed the SPF. There is a slight scent but nothing offending. Nice touch is the little mirror on the lid so you can make sure everything is in order after applying. ;-))
I would purchase this in the future. Similar to other Vichy products a little goes a long way with this moisturizer. I can't see any reason why I wouldn't purchase this item in the future!
