I received the Oral-B Pulsonic Power Toothbrush through the product review club. Upon receiving it I let it charge for the recommended 12 hrs. As the handy leaflet will tell you 12 hrs of charging time will give you 30 minutes of operation time. There are two brushing modes "clean" and "sensitive". Sensitive mode is for a gentle clean for those sensitive areas in your mouth. What I really liked about the toothbrush was the timer. I definitely am not brushing my teeth for the recommended 2 minutes. So it was nice to have the timer indicate when I had brushed a certain area for 30 seconds. It pauses then continues brushing. I enjoyed how clean my teeth felt after using the Oral-B toothbrush but I really can't see myself paying $99.00 for one. I did enter a store last week and this toothbrush was on sale for $79.00, at that rate I still wouldn't pay for the toothbrush. I would really rather use my regular toothbrush and add another item to my wardrobe or something more worthwhile. Like I said the timer is handy but that's something I can be more mindful of or I can set my phone to beep after two minutes of brushing! I would recommend this to those of you who want more of a thorough brushing experience and who don't mind spending the money in order to receive one. -

Cottonelle Ultra Bathroom Tissue arrived via UPS this week and I immediately switched the brand that I was currently using in the bathroom (Charmin). While the Cottonelle Ultra Bathroom tissue feels soft and is strong I don't see myself purchasing this in the future. The Charmin I was using certainly out beat Cottonelle with the soft factor and the texture feels better. Something was off with the texture of the Cottonelle Ultra tissue. I would buy this if it was on sale otherwise, I'd pass and purchase a different brand of Cottonelle or bathroom tissue all together! -

I received two packages of Febreze Noticeables to reviews- Lavender/ Vanilla scent and Morning Walk/Pleasant Rain. All you have to do is take off the tiny caps on the vials then plug in the product BUT what a hassle it was for me to take off the caps. I found it very frustrating and it initially put me off the product before I had even tried it! I would suggest making the caps ones that you can simply pull off or at least ones that don't seem as though they are glued on!!! After I finally took the caps off I decided to plug in the Lavender/Vanilla scent-it comes with two settings low/high. I set the setting to low and placed it in my living room. The scent fills the room instantly and was quite appealing. I did not find it to be overpowering as some of the products I have bought in the past! In fact I went to bed and left it on all night and continued to leave it plugged in the following day. It was nice to walk through the door and be greeted by the scent. I then switched off to Morning Walk/Pleasant Rain, plugging this scent into my kitchen. Again instant gratification it completed rid my kitchen of the smell of the dinner I had cooked. I will definitely purchase this product in the future and I'm eager to purchase other scents they may come out with! -

I received 6 bottles of Aquafina plus Vitamins water as part of the product review club. There was two of each flavour in the package-Fun Pearberry, Strawberry Lemonade, and Black and Blueberry. I have to say I did not like the Strawberry Lemonade at all I found it to be just too sweet and could not finish the bottle! Fun Pearberry and Black and Bluberry were hands down my favourite. I found both to be refreshing and just 'sweet enough'. I needed a hit of something sweet and for 10 calories these drinks did the job! I can never finish one in one shot but rather kept going back to them when I needed a sweet break! I would stay away from Strawberry Lemonade but would purchase Fun Pearberry and Black and Blueberry in the future! -

My friends and I went to Cravings a couple of weeks ago for lunch. We chose to eat off their Prix Fixe menu ($12.00 for a three course lunch). I ordered mango salad, veggie tempura, and a yellow curry chicken. The food was fantastic as was the service. We were seated immediately and or waiter was friendly and attentive. I have ordered take out from Cravings and would definitely recommend their Teriyaki chicken as well as everything from lunch! I would love to know how to make their dressing for their mango salad. You certainly receive a generous amount for the price you pay. Will head back to Cravings again without hesitation! -

I received Thierry Mugler Womanity from Chick Advisor a couple of weeks ago-I was able to attend the party for Womanity where everyone received a goodie bag with the perfume as well as mini samples to give to friends! Upon first application I wasn't too fond of the scent. After 30 minutes the scent changed into something I would describe as sexy! I have received compliments while wearing the perfume, which is always nice to hear. The scent is by no means overpowering and lasts the whole day through (there is no need for a second application). At a retail price of $66.00 you can't go wrong PLUS the bottle is refillable-very smart! I've never had a refillable perfume bottle before but definitely think other companies should head down this route. -

I have been using Marcelle Essentials 1st Wrinkles Day Cream for just under 2weeks now! This cream is very light and fragrance free. I wouldn't use a cream like this during the winter months but it's ideal for spring/summer. It has helped to keep my face moisturized throughout the day without having to reapply in the afternoon. The only drawback the SPF isn't higher! I don't have wrinkles worth worrying about so can't say if it has worked or not! I do know that I wouldn't mind using this in place of my regular Estee Lauder day cream especially for such a great price! -

I went to Loblaws yesterday and using my Breyers coupon (thanks to Chickadvisor) picked up 1/2 the fat Strawberries and Cream. I have to say I wasn't really impressed with the product. The taste was OK it left a funny after taste in my mouth which I wasn't fond of and immediately had to brush! Maybe I should have gone for the Mocha Fudge! The retail price at this store was $6.99 it was on sale for $4.99. I wouldn't pick this up if it was or wasn't on sale. I think I'd stick to the regular Breyers product. I pulled out a tube of Breyers Vanilla (regular) that I had in my freezer and it actually had LESS sugar than the 1/2 fat product. And it was 140 calories (Strawberries and Cream is 130 for 1/2 a cup)! So I'll stick with the 'full fat' and pass on the 1/2....I can do without the after taste! -

I received The Body Shop Nutriganics Smoothing Serum through the product review club and have been using it daily. I kept looking for a 'pamphlet' to direct me on how to use the product but it didn't come with one. Most skin care lines come with directions on how to use them, the only place you are told to use the product is on the box! No big deal really but I would have liked a bit more info on the product. I can't say I'm a fan of the scent- I had friends over last week and when I put some on my face everyone was commenting on the unattractive scent! The smell does fade quickly enough but I wouldn't recommend wearing it if you have a hot date ;-) I had a 'minor' breakout last week when using the product but my skin looks great this week, I guess my face was just getting used to the new product. My skin does feel softer after using the product and I have very, very tiny laugh lines when I smile that I can't even notice anymore. So I'll credit Nutriganics to helping with that. The price is great ($25) especially since I have spent MUCH more using Estee Lauder. I would buy it again but would probably do so in the winter months when my skin needs an extra dose of moisture! -

I thought I would try something new and head outdoors for my workout! I had my second booty camp fitness class last night and I REALLY enjoy the program! It's women only and everyone who I've met at class has been friendly and encouraging to each other. Our trainer Oksana is great at what she does and is there to motivate you every step of the way. She encourages you to modify a move if you need to but also pushes you to PUSH YOURSELF. I love the cardio aspect that really gets your heart going. The first day after class I was sore all over but it was A GOOD SORE. I definitely worked muscles I hadn't worked before or just hadn't pushed 'hard enough'. I'm still slightly sore today but it's getting better! I originally only signed up for the 4 week session but will be signing up for an additional 4 weeks this evening! I recommend this to anyone who wants a great outdoor workout to get you out of the monotony of a gym. -
