This is probably my only holy grail product of all time. I like a lot of beauty products, but this is always my #1 go to. I can’t ever imagine buying anything else and I’ve repurchased this so many times I can’t even count. This is the blackest, most amazing mascara. You have to trust me when I say just try it out, you will never go back to your old one. Great formula, amazing brush, fair price ($23). The other day I brought my mother to Sephora to pick up a couple makeup items and this of course was one of them. One of the sales men was there and had asked me casually what I was planning on purchasing. I replied “Well, only the best mascara of all time, ever.” He laughed and gave me a sample of the Dior “Diorshow” mascara. Well, guess which one is still my favorite? Seriously there is NO comparison. Best. Mascara. Ever. -

I’m all for natural beauty products including moisturizers, but this one just didn't work for me AT ALL. I bought it off of amazon for $12 including shipping and was very excited to try it. It combines essential oils, and homeopathically prepared sulfur and it supposed to hydrate skin that is prone to acne breakouts. It is also supposed to get rid of redness, puffiness, and itchiness. As soon as I tried this moisturizer I knew something was wrong. It felt tacky FOREVER like it wouldn't sink into my skin, and left my skin feeling sticky and greasy, and not in a good way. I have combination skin and in the winter it gets pretty dry, so I thought this would be fine for this time of year. But I was completely wrong. This did not work for me at all. Not only was this extremely to greasy for me, but it did nothing in providing moisture or redness relief as I wanted it to do. This is definitely a product that is very overhyped in my opinion. I wanted to like it so bad, but I just couldn't get along with it even after using it for a week. No thanks. -

This is the best face mask ever if you're suffering from dry skin. The price is a bit more than drugstore brands at $23, but it is well worth every penny. After cleansing and toning, I slather this all over my face in a thin layer and hop into bed for the night. When I wake up any dry patches on my skin are gone and everything is left looking plump and refreshed.
Some people may not like the strong sent of this (It smells like a mixture of citris and peaches ... really fruity), but personally I love it! It does soak into your face during the night, and it doesn't leave any residue on your pillows in the morning.
This stuff is really a rescue for dry winter skin. Loveee it.

I decided to review my favorite acne product this week for the contest! The origins super spot remover is by far my favorite acne spot treatment of all time. I’ve tried LOADS of spot treatments, especially in my teenage years, and I can honestly say that nothing compares to this tiny bottle of magic. It contains Salicylic Acid, Caffeine, and Red Algae and gets rid of redness and the puffiness of a pimple overnight. At $14.50, it’s a little bit pricey for a mere .3 fl oz bottle, but it is well worth every drop. I would not recommend wearing this under makeup, but it can be used at night very easily. Also, make sure you don’t use this as a whole face acne treatment as it dries out your skin REALLY easily. It’s meant to be used as a spot treatment and for that it kicks those pimples to the curb in less than 24hrs. -

I have been lusting after this blush for a long time, and after getting it in my Christmas stocking, I have to say, I am in LOVE. “Desert Rose” as described by Mac is a matte soft reddish-burgundy. I wouldn’t say that it is quite as dark and dramatic as they make it seem, because when you apply it with a light hand it can be used on a wide variety of skin tones. I’m SUPERUBER pale and when this is applied and blended out on me it looks fantastic (which is something I rarely say). I would describe it more as a deep mauve rose, because it’s not as dark and frightening as it looks in the pan.
Because this is a matte blush, it doesn’t give off any sheen, however it is incredibly pigmented. A little bit of this goes a long way and literally requires just a DAB of your brush. This is my first mac blush, and although I’ve tried many other brands, this one has lasted the longest on my cheeks throughout the day. (Without having to look like a walking doll in the morning)
I strongly suggest that next time you’re at a mac counter, or a mac store to give this blush a try. It’s only a couple weeks into 2013 and I can already see this becoming one of my favorites of the year.
