A poor boy gets a job working for his rich uncle and ends up falling in love with two women.
A beautiful and romantic relationship between two people from different walks of life. Elizabeth Taylor and Montgomery Clift have such intense chemistry that you can feel the love these two characters have for one another. The tragic event in their courtship is shocking and leaves you feeling the ache as if it were happening to you. Liz and Monty were great friends and it carried over in this poignant movie.

Based on the play by Tennessee Williams, this renowned drama follows troubled former schoolteacher Blanche DuBois (Vivien Leigh) as she leaves small-town Mississippi and moves in with her sister, Stella Kowalski (Kim Hunter), and her husband, Stanley (Marlon Brando), in New Orleans. Blanche's flirtatious Southern-belle presence causes problems for Stella and Stanley, who already have a volatile relationship, leading to even greater conflict in the Kowalski household.
What an intense movie full of stress and extreme tension. Vivien Leigh and Marlon Brando give brilliant performances. Stanley is a man possessed with outbursts that are difficult to watch at times. Blanche is lost in the past and has her own demons. Will they survive living together?

Two youngsters from rival New York City gangs fall in love, but tensions between their respective friends build toward tragedy. The story is set in the Upper West Side neighborhood in New York City in the mid-1950s, an ethnic, blue-collar neighborhood. (In the early 1960s much of the neighborhood would be cleared in an urban renewal project for the Lincoln Center, changing the neighborhood's character. The musical explores the rivalry between the Jets and the Sharks, two teenage street gangs of different ethnic backgrounds. The members of the Sharks, from Puerto Rico, are taunted by the Jets, a Caucasian gang. The young protagonist, Tony, a former member of the Jets and best friend of the gang leader, Riff, falls in love with Maria, the sister of Bernardo, the leader of the Sharks. The dark theme, sophisticated music, extended dance scenes, and focus on social problems marked a turning point in American musical theater. Bernstein's score for the musical includes "Something's Coming", "Maria", "America", "Somewhere", "Tonight", "Jet Song", "I Feel Pretty", "A Boy Like That", "One Hand, One Heart", "Gee, Officer Krupke", and "Cool". The story is based on two people who meet and fall in love but are separated because they come from different groups that don't like each other.
A beautiful movie with a star studded cast of talented young actors who give an amazing performance. Life can be hard when you fall in love with someone who from another nationality. This young couple is finding the hard way what a challenge it can be and the consequences of trying to remain together. Went on to be a popular musical.

Businessman Oskar Schindler (Liam Neeson) arrives in Krakow in 1939, ready to make his fortune from World War II, which has just started. When the SS begins exterminating Jews in the Krakow ghetto, Schindler arranges to have his workers protected to keep his factory in operation, but soon realizes that in so doing, he is also saving innocent lives.
What a tragic time in history. This movie is so heartbreaking and difficult to watch. It's hard to imagine that so many people had to endure this atrocity because of their race. An honest portrayal of the extermination of Jews during WWII.

He struggles against his vampire nature, using his sharpened senses to help the living. Mick's life -- undeath -- whatever -- gets complicated when he falls for Beth Turner, a reporter haunted by dreams of a man who looks like Mick. Is there even a chance Beth would consider joining Mick's world as his lover?
This was such an interesting vampire show. Intriguing storylines that shed light on the mysterious world of vampires. All vampires are not alike and Mick St. John was a unique beast. The romantic tension between Mick and Beth was poignant and so romantic. I was disappointed when Moonlight wasn't renewed. Alex O'Loughlin was very believable as a vampire with a conscious. At least the show had a proper ending.

I watched this TV show from the first show to the last. Very powerful and touching storylines. A great supporting cast that created a family unit. Interesting and thought provoking storylines that made you question what is truly around us. They pushed the envelope when they brought Miranda's husband Jim back to life in the body of another man. That was a bittersweet and romantic storyline. I was disappointed that the show was not renewed. The cast was not even aware that the show was not picked up again. Fans should have been given a proper send off. Shame on the head honchos for denying us that final goodbye. -

A superb cast of talented actors that perform under the big top. Each story has a touching past that has brought the characters to this life of performing and being travelling gypsies. The actors/actresses have honed their skills to perform some exciting stunts and honestly portray life on the road.

While on a train, writer Richard Harland (Cornel Wilde) strikes up a relationship with the gorgeous Ellen Berent (Gene Tierney). Ellen quickly becomes obsessed with Richard and abandons her fiancé, Russell Quinton (Vincent Price), to be with him. The couple rushes into marriage, with both of them caught up in romance and Richard intrigued by Ellen's intensity. Only after settling into marriage, however, does Richard realize that she is psychotically jealous and highly unstable.
Gene Tierney shines in this role. Love and romance turns ugly as Ellen slowly reveals her true colours. A shocking event will leave you wondering what should be done with this hauntingly disturbed woman. An intense storyline that unveils the twisted love that controls the minds of some unfortunate souls.
