Troy Bolton (Zac Efron), the star athlete at a small-town high school, falls for nerdy beauty Gabriella Montez (Vanessa Anne Hudgens) at a holiday karaoke party. When they return to campus, Troy and Gabriella audition for the upcoming school musical. Meanwhile, the jealous Sharpay Evans (Ashley Tisdale) conspires to squelch their chances. The two must struggle to make it to auditions while also meeting their existing obligations to the basketball team and the academic decathlon.
We watched this movie as a family. A talented cast that sing and dance. An interesting storyline about life in high school and the decisions that we have to make. Great music and dance numbers.

The Next Step follows the lives of a group of elite dancers at The Next Step Dance Studio as they work to win the regional competition. The tightly knit team of A-Troupe dancers train, rehearse and hang out within a well-established social order led by the Dance Captain, Emily. When talented new girl, Michelle, joins the team, Emily's position is brought into question and the team becomes fractured. With the regional championships fast approaching, the A-Troupe needs to come together and resolve their issues if they want to win regionals and qualify for the national title. My daughter and I watch this show together. We both have a dance background and find this show very appealing. A talented cast of dancers who showcase some impressive dance moves. A close knit group of teens who deal with issues and come together as a team. Friendships will be tested, rivalry between dancers and love is in the air. The best part is of course the amazing choreography. It will take a lot of team work and practice to win regionals. Does the "Next Step A-Troupe" have what it takes?

It's All About Us is a journal of super-nosey surveys for girls to fill out right in the book. Subjects range from food to fashion to friendship to the very tween "total randomosity." More than 300 different questions reveal everything you never thought to ask yourself, let alone anyone else.
Since everything is better when you share, each survey is repeated three times, in three different colorways. Once you've taken a survey, turn the page and pass the journal and its matching pen to a friend. Or a relative. Or a brand-new acquaintance. Basically, anyone willing to share just a little too much information. Then compare results. The beauty of it is, even if the answers are different, everyone will still be right. Especially you.
This book is perfect for young girls. There is a section for each friend to write her answers to so many interesting questions. My daughter loves sharing this book with her friends. I've given it as a birthday gift and the girls were delighted and excited to take quizzes with their friends.

The vampire Angel, cursed with a soul, moves to Los Angeles and aids people with supernatural-related problems while questing for his own redemption.
It was a sad day when Angel left Buffy and moved to L.A. Thankfully Joss Whedon created "Angel" the TV series. Each episode was an adventure in ridding L.A. from monsters and criminals. Unique monsters and detailed storylines made this TV show exciting to watch. The family brought everything full circle as the members of "Angel Investigations" battled the evil forces. I especially liked the crossover show when Angel and Buffy would meet up. These episodes were so poignant and pulled at your heartstrings. If you like the supernatural genre then you will appreciate the creative genius of Joss Whedon. He certainly came up with countless names and storylines for all the monsters that filled and fueled his imagination.

This series follows the eventful lives of some high-school kids in Tree Hill, a small but not too quiet town in North Carolina, where the greatest source of pride is the high school basketball team, the Ravens.
I was so sad when the last episode aired. I so looked forward to getting lost in Tree Hill every week. An amazing cast of actors/actresses that gave their heart and soul into breathing life in their characters. You felt like you were part of their journey. Another creative gem from Kevin Williamson. So many interesting storylines bringing to light important issues that touch all our lives. I enjoyed this show and would have love to have a walking part. If ever an episode plays on TV I can't help but sit down and set back into that world like it was yesterday.
I'm certain that if I were to travel to Wilmington, NC that I would be able to find myself around town and feel right at home. Scenic location that made this TV show memorable for so many people. "Naley", "Brucas" and "Jeyton" fan!!!

Another of my favourite TV shows. I got hooked from watching the pilot. The chemistry between the actors/actresses was evident from day one. They brought these characters lovingly created by Kevin Williamson to life. The episodes were so well written that you felt like you were experiencing it with them. Realistic storylines that encompassed the lives of these people that you learned to care about. They were a family that you wanted to be a part of. I miss this show and am happy that Joey chose her soul mate and not her soul mate best friend. Joshua Jackson was so amazing as Pacey. PJ Fan!!!

I'm a huge fan of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" series. Such a talented group of actors/actresses that brought unique characters to life. Every show was full of new surprises from the creative genius Joss Whedon. Fascinating storylines, interesting new characters set in vampire infested Sunnydale. The crossover shows between Buffy and Angel were so intense and touching. A cult classic that will never go out of style.
