A rock star (Jon Bon Jovi) and his ex-lover (Katherine Heigl) clash at an exclusive party; a singer (Lea Michele) becomes stranded with a killjoy (Ashton Kutcher) on the way to a New Year's gig; a nurse (Halle Berry) stays with a dying patient (Robert De Niro) as he tries to hang on long enough to see the ball drop in Times Square one last time.
This movie centers around everyone's plans for the closing of another year. I enjoyed catching a glimpse of each storyline as it unfolded. Awesome ensemble cast that made this movie enjoyable to watch. This is on our watch list every holiday season. The bloopers at the end of the movie will make you smile.

As the holiday unfolds, they experience first dates, longtime commitments, youthful crushes and connections to old flames.
This was a fun movie to watch. It was interesting to have all these Valentine stories occurring at the same time. The movie was well written and you could easily keep up with the developments of each individual story. I always enjoy movies where a large group of actors are working together. The bloopers at the end of the movie were an awesome added bonus.

In 1972, playwright Richard Collier (Christopher Reeve) becomes fascinated by a photo of Elise McKenna (Jane Seymour), a turn-of-the-century stage actress, while staying at the Grand Hotel in Mackinac Island, Michigan. As Richard's obsession grows, he learns from a friend that time travel may actually be possible through hypnosis. Richard travels in time to meet Elise, and the two appear destined to be together. However, Elise's jealous manager (Christopher Plummer) attempts to keep them apart.
I purchased this movie a few years back in a sales bin and I absolutely fell in love with it. The idea of time travel has always fascinated me and this movie gives you a glimpse of a bygone era. The picturesque setting of Mackinac Island, Michigan is breathtaking. The period costumes worn by Elise McKenna were visions for someone like me who adores costume design. A romantic movie that shows us that love knows no distance and the human heart will fight till its last breath to reunite with its soul mate. History comes to life in this charming movie.
