Set in Chicago, this medical drama deals with the personal and professional crises of the doctors in the emergency room at County General Hospital. From the exciting to the mundane, a day in the frantic hospital serves up many interesting dilemmas as well as heartrending choices for everyone on staff.
I've watched this show on and off for the past few years. The fast-paced and life-threatening world of medical professional that deal with the daily drama that unfolds in their professional and private lives. Intense situations are presented in realistic fashion as you feel like you are experiencing the events firsthand. A great ensemble cast that bring to light the difficult and stressful life of working in the ER.

Dr. Frasier Crane, a successful Boston therapist, moves to Seattle to get a new start on life; he has a radio talk show, which he uses to relay his wit and wisdom to others, but at times he struggles with his own problems with his salt-of-the-earth father, his pretentious brother and his friends and co-workers.
Frasier from Cheers got his own TV show. A funny show about Dr. Crane's practice and his crazy family life. Many funny moments come to mind. The star of the show was "Eddie" played my the adorable Jack Russell Moose. Entertaining episodes that will have you in stitches.

Airing since 1979, the British series travels the country (with occasional trips to other countries, such as Canada and Australia), bringing together in each location specialists in antiques and fine arts to have them appraise items brought in by local residents, whether they are collectors looking to turn trash into treasure or ordinary folks hoping Grandma's old painting might now fund the kids' education. Items featured on the show often have an interesting story attached to them or have some connection to that episode's venue. While some items that are brought in are worth a fortune, others are worthless.
I collect antiques and enjoy watching this informative TV show. Local residents bring in their treasured antiques and experts in various fields appraise their valuables. Fascinating stories that offer a glimpse into the past of these beautifully crafted items. I've learned so much from watching these episodes.

Laid-back Sam Malone, a former relief pitcher for the Boston Red Sox, owns and runs Cheers, a cozy bar in Boston. He hires smart, uptight -- and jilted -- Diane Chambers as a server, out of sympathy, but their attraction causes constant bickering. Wacky characters fill the bar: sarcastic waitress Carla, beer-loving accountant Norm, know-it-all postman Cliff. When Diane leaves Boston much later, Sam sells the bar, buys a boat and sails the world, but his boat sinks, so he returns. New, ambitious manager Rebecca Howe hires him back, but they love to hate each other too.
I just love watching "oldies shows" like Cheers. It must have been great watching them live every week. A close knit group of friends hang out at a bar and share their life stories as they interact with the bar employees. Entertaining and quite funny with some classic one liners. So much is going on in everyone's lives and everyone else has something to say about it. It's nice to go to a special place where everyone knows your name. As Norm would say: "It's a dog eat dog world and I'm wearing Milkbone underwear". An all-around funny show that will leave you in stitches and wanting more.

Mystery writer and amateur detective Jessica Fletcher - a down-to-earth, middle-aged widow - ferrets out the criminals in idyllic Cabot Cove, Maine, which apparently is the murder capital of the United States for the show's 12-season run. Though while traveling, she uncovers a fair number of killers as well.
I didn't watch this TV show when it first aired but I still found it appealing years later. Angela Lansbury was amazing in this role. She was always on the hunt to uncover the truth and she had a knack for it. Every episode was intriguing and full of mystery. So many actors/actresses made appearances on her show. Entertaining and witty, this is a great murder/mystery show worth watching.

This series makes the most of its Hawaiian setting by sending private eye Thomas Magnum all over Oahu righting wrongs -- at least when he isn't dealing with security at the posh estate (dubbed Robin's Nest) of absentee owner, and celebrated-but-unseen author, Robin Masters and clashing with stuffy British butler Higgins. T.C. and Rick, buddies from Magnum's days in the military, help him out with cases. Magnum is provided nearly unlimited use of many of Masters' luxury items, including a Ferrari.
An action-filled TV show set in scenic Hawaii. Magnum comes to the rescue and can be counted on to solve any crime. I watched this show long after it had originally aired and I enjoyed the scenic beauty of Hawaii and the adventure and intrigue of each episode. Many guest stars popped in during its 8 year run. Never a dull moment when you're trying to solve a crime.

I found these beautiful magazines at the "Used Books Store". Every issue is filled with informative articles, creative ideas for inside and outside of your home. Delicious recipes, party ideas and so much more. A nod to the romantic era where everything was elegant and refined. I'm so happy to have found these magazines. I've already tried a few of their recipes and they are not only tasty but so easy to follow. -

Such a feminine scent that blends delicate flowers, juicy fruits and sweet vanilla. A lingering scent that is not too overpowering. Great to keep in your gym bag for a quick light spritz. Perfect at this time of year.

Sometimes running is all you can do and this woman has made it a habit of hers but will she ever find Mr. Right. An entertaining movie that's funny and sweet. Julia Roberts and Richard Gere have great chemistry in this movie.
