Though he is famous across the ancient world for his larger-than-life exploits, Hercules (Dwayne Johnson), the son of Zeus and a human woman, is haunted by his tragic past. Now, he fights only for gold as a traveling mercenary, accompanied by a band of loyal followers, including Amphiarus (Ian McShane) and Autolycus (Rufus Sewell). However, when the benevolent ruler of Thrace and his daughter seek his help in defeating a savage warlord, Hercules must find the true hero within himself once again.
An interesting take on the tale of Hercules. Dwayne Johnson was a physical powerhouse in this movie. It was action filled and had some great fight scenes. Nothing too extraordinary but nonetheless it was worth watching.

I loved this show. History and mythology was brought to life on this show. It was filmed in scenic New Zealand. Fascinating storylines with Xena and Gabrielle by her side. Xena was fair, fearless and always fighting for the less fortunate. Lucy Lawless was amazing as Xena. I had a teenage crush on Ares (RIP Kevin Smith).

Hoping to capture evidence of it on film, they set up video cameras in the house but are not prepared for the terrifying events that follow.
This movie actually scared me. I had nightmares after watching it. Horror is definitely not my genre of movie. It seemed a bit far-fetched to me but the seed was planted and it got me thinking. I didn't watch the subsequent movies in this franchise. Probably tame for avid horror fans but for me it was spooky enough to watch the movie through my fingers. LOL!!!
