When timid bank clerk Stanley Ipkiss (Jim Carrey) discovers a magical mask containing the spirit of the Norse god Loki, his entire life changes. While wearing the mask, Ipkiss becomes a supernatural playboy exuding charm and confidence which allows him to catch the eye of local nightclub singer Tina Carlyle (Cameron Diaz). Unfortunately, under the mask's influence, Ipkiss also robs a bank, which angers junior crime lord Dorian Tyrell (Peter Greene), whose goons get blamed for the heist.
Jim Carrey pull out all the stops in this entertaining movie. His character discovers a mask that once he puts in on changes his personality. He'll be caught in dangerous situations but will he be able to rescue the damsel in distress and find his happy ending? You'll have to watch and see. For me the real star of the movie is his Jack Russell Milo.

In this live-action adaptation of the beloved children's tale by Dr. Seuss, the reclusive green Grinch (Jim Carrey) decides to ruin Christmas for the cheery citizens of Whoville. Reluctantly joined by his hapless dog, Max, the Grinch comes down from his mountaintop home and sneaks into town to swipe everything holiday-related from the Whos. However, the bitter grump finds a hitch in his plans when he encounters the endearing Cindy Lou Who (Taylor Momsen).
Jim Carrey is superb as Grinch. A sweet movie that will have you cheering for Grinch. Cindy Lou Who is so adorable and her determination to include Grinch in the holiday festivities is precious. The makeup for the Who characters is fantastic. A family oriented film that we watch every holiday season.

A wealthy executive, Drew Latham (Ben Affleck) has no close relationships and becomes nostalgic for his childhood home as Christmas approaches. When he visits the house and finds another family living there, he offers the residents, Tom Valco (James Gandolfini) and his wife, Christine (Catherine O'Hara), a large sum of money to pretend they are his parents. Soon Drew tests the couple's patience, and, when their daughter, Alicia (Christina Applegate), arrives, things get increasingly tense.
Not our typical Christmas movie but it was so funny throughout the whole film. A great cast that brought these quirky characters to life. Ben Affleck and James Gandolfini were quiet the pair. Christmas takes on a new twist when Drew hires the Valco family to be his family during the holidays. What happens next is a memorable adventure that the whole family will never forget.

Seven friends engage in a struggle with the demon they first encountered 30 years earlier in their Maine hometown.
If you like horror movies with an evil villain then you will enjoy this twisted tale. This movie was terrifying and gave me nightmares. Tim Curry was so believable as the evil clown. After watching this movie at times through the cracks of my fingers, I see clowns in a different light. Sustained my heightened emotions but I could never watch it again.

Andy Dufresne (Tim Robbins) is sentenced to two consecutive life terms in prison for the murders of his wife and her lover and is sentenced to a tough prison. However, only Andy knows he didn't commit the crimes. While there, he forms a friendship with Red (Morgan Freeman), experiences brutality of prison life, adapts, helps the warden, etc., all in 19 years.
What a powerful and difficult movie to watch. The strength of the human spirit is alive and well in the form of Andy Dufresne who is determined to survive life and prison. He strikes a friendship with Red and ultimately forges a bond that will last a lifetime. Brilliant performance by these two superb actors. A touching and bittersweet movie.

In this final chapter, Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) obtains a 70-year-old message from the time-traveling Dr. Emmett Brown (Christopher Lloyd), in which he informs Marty that he has retired to a small town in the Old West. Marty then finds out that the Doc was murdered shortly after sending the letter. In order to save his friend, Marty will have to travel back in time, disentangle a lovestruck Doc from a local schoolmarm, and repair the DeLorean -- all while avoiding a posse of gunslingers.
My son and I were sad that this was the last movie in the series. They boys are back but this time Marty goes back in time to the Wild West. A great movie full of action and an interesting storyline. I was very happy with the ending. It was the proper send off for a fun loving adventure that was very entertaining to watch as a family.

In this zany sequel, time-traveling duo Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) and Dr. Emmett Brown (Christopher Lloyd) return from saving Marty's future son from disaster, only to discover their own time transformed. In this nightmarish version of Hill Valley, Marty's father has been murdered and Biff Tannen, Marty's nemesis, has profited. After uncovering the secret to Biff's success -- a sports almanac from the future -- Marty and the Doc embark on a quest to repair the space-time continuum.
Another great adventure for Marty and Doc. You can't help for root for these two as they embark on a new quest. This time they are headed for the future and it looks bleak. Will they be able to make things right? An entertaining movie from this successful franchise.
