I received these to review and it was my first time ever trying out these plug-in type of air fresheners. Although I don't have anything to compare these to, they're not bad.
They're pretty simple to work: simply choose the 'low' or 'high' setting and plug it in!
I chose the high setting the first time I used it and the scent was SUPER strong. So strong in fact that it gave me a headache. After then, I only set it on the low setting and it was perfect - a gentle, yet noticeable scent that filled my room. I think the high setting would work best in larger rooms and the low setting for smaller rooms like bedrooms.
Overall, cool product! I will buy this :)

These were sent to me for review and I was really excited to try them out because I am all about finding low cal vitamin drinks. I've tried the VitaminWater brand 10 cal drinks and they're not very good - you can definitely taste the sweetener.
These ones are sweetened with Stevia extract (which is much better for you than yucky sweeteners) and it tastes much better - less artificial! The only flavor I didn't like was strawberry lemonade - was much too sweet for my liking. My favorite was Fuji Apple Pear and Blueberry Blackberry came in a close second.
I will buy these when I'm at the store next! :)

I've been on an 'all-natural' kick lately in terms of beauty products. Lush is a brand that I've admired from afar, but always hesitated to try - really, only because of the prices. However, I decided to give the Ultrabalm - among other products - a try and let's just say I'm glad I did!
This product is all natural and has only about 4 ingredients. It does an AMAZING job of moisturizing my lips. My lips have never been this soft before and if you know me, "chapped and cracked lips" is my middle name. This product blows any medicated (yes, even Blistex) lip balm out of the water!
At $12.95 it's not even that expensive, considering you get 45g of product and only need to use a tiny amount at a time. Do yourself a favor and GET THIS!

This is, by far, one of the best face moisturizers that I have ever used. It's not oily and perfect for acne-prone skin like mine. It does a great job of moisturizing the dry areas of your face and keeping the oily ones, as little oily as possible.
I love that it comes with a pump - the amount that is dispensed is usually enough, although I will often use two pumps as I make sure to apply some to my neck as well.
The price is slightly steep @ $31 at The Bay, but I'll definitely be repurchasing this lotion.

First of all, I'm not sure if I grabbed the wrong tube but I don't find this mascara to be particularly waterproof. I mean it doesn't run down my face like Niagara Falls when water hits it, but I wouldn't say it's as waterproof as some other mascaras I've tried. In any case, this doesn't bother me too much.
I find that it does a great job of volumizing and curling my lashes, and fortunately, is hardly ever clumpy.
I will point out that the smell is atrocious - though, what mascara smells like a field of flowers? Actually, maybe Jessica Simpson's makeup line has something....
Overall, pretty decent mascara.

I'll admit, this product is wayyyy expensive at $26 at Shoppers Drug Mart. Though, it does do a good job! High Beam is an luminzer/highlighter that is applied to the face where light would naturally it, i.e. cheek bones, brow bones, bridge of the nose, cupid's bow - and anywhere else that you think you need a little oomph.
I like using this product during the winter when my skin usually looks a little blah. After applying this to my face (as well as the inner tear ducts of my eyes) I look fresh-faced and well-rested!
Be sure to blend high beam in properly, otherwise you will look streaky and your "highlights" fake!

I LOVE this product. It's meant for cold sores, but I actually just use it as a lip conditioner because it does the job. I can have the most chapped and cracking lips - which, let's be honest, is a daily occurrence - and within a short time of using this product, they feel hydrated!
I will say that it tastes and smells like crap, but hey it works. It's kind of like Buckley's cough syrup: It tastes awful. And it works.

This winter has done a number on my hands - this hand cream has come to my rescue! First of all, it smells GREAT - I think out of all the scents, the Sweet Pea one is my favourite, by far. Secondly, it's not a greasy hand cream and absorbs quickly into the skin - something that I always look for, because I HATE when hand cream just lingers on your skin and leaves that greasy feel.
I actually bought this hand cream as part of the 3 for $25 deal on their signature collections and bought the matching bubble bath and body lotion.
Overall, great product!

I get crazy itchy scalp during the winter, resulting in flaky skin. The Aveda Scalp Benefits shampoo and conditioner help to calm the itchy feeling and get rid of flakes. The products do this so well as they're designed to restore your scalp's pH levels back to normal.
The products smell really nice, which is unusual for a scalp treatment as most smell fairly medicinal. What's more, the shampoo and conditioner actually do a great job of leaving my hair soft and silky!
The only downside is that they're fairly expensive at about $20/bottle.

I would say this is a medium/full-coverage foundation - buildable coverage for sure! I really do love this product and would say that it's comparable to some of the higher end foundations out there. The price, is of course, much more appealing than what MAC or NARS has to offer.
This foundation definitely does live up to its name, because it STAYS ON. You have to make sure to wash your face thoroughly before going to bed - I will usually wash my face with spectro gel and then use a toner. I find that this method works best. If I don't wash my face properly, I WILL break out the next morning :(
What I love about the product is the color selection and the fact that you can choose based on your skin type - whether you have combination/oily or normal/dry skin. This is perfect for me because I have SUPER oily skin in the summer, but quite flaky, dry skin in the winter.
The only thing I don't like about this product is the smell - although that's just me being picky. Otherwise, it's a great buy!
