I've been using acne washes from various well-known brands for years. I decided to take a chance on this Life Brand acne wash, one of those cheaper rip-off names, and was very surprised by it. There's always been redness on my nose, and I thought this was just a fact of life because no acne treatments have been able to improve it. Well, this did! It lessened the redness.

Along with redness, my skin is also dry. This product is a gel, so once I started using it, I was able to switch to a lighter moisturizer. I'd recommend this to anyone with minor acne issues and dry skin, and work it into their usual skin care regime. And considering it's cheaper price, I'd tell any frugal person to go for this product instead of the popular brands. I'm unsure if this would work on someone with a more severe case of acne, however.

One inconvenience about this wash is the packaging: The spout twist closed. Packing the product so it won't press against anything and leak is an annoyance.    -
