I received this mascara for free in a recent Maybelline Facebook contest. The one I received is in the colour "Very Black" and is not waterproof. The application wand of this mascara is very unique as it does not have normal bristles as most mascara wand does. Instead, the tip of the wand is curved and it has a section of very tiny rubber bristles that is supposed to sweep the mascara alongside with the curve of your lashes. I wish that the application bristles were a bit longer because it took many attempts to give an even coating and by then I had a really thick layer of mascara on my lashes. Since the one that I got is not waterproof, a thicker layer of product meant more chances to flake/rub off as the day goes on. Fortunately it stayed on pretty well as long as I was careful with it. The mascara is reasonably priced and there IS a waterproof version. If you like thick and very pigmented mascara, you can definitely give these a try -

I bought a bunch of Toly Moly masks from Amazon and this was the first one that I tried. Each mask claims to have a different function ranging from pore care to skin brightening. The Aloe Moisturizing mask contains 1 sheet and has a refreshing smell. They are very generous on the serum to the point where the mask will drip everywhere. The mask is a bit fragile so be gentle when pulling it from the package to refrain from tearing or ripping. It was slimy upon application but after 30 minutes, the serum is mostly absorbed. I applied the mask at night, washed my face the next morning and my skin felt very moisturized. Overall if you want to try multiple masks from Toly Moly, I suggest buying it off of Amazon. Hudson Bay retails these for $5 per mask while Amazon offers 11 masks for around $15, making each mask at around $1.50. -

These chocolate bars are such a treat that are enjoyable any day of the season! I especially love the crunchy chocolate outer shell, which I always eat first, revealing the creamy smooth ice cream hidden beneath it. The chocolate casing also prevents the ice cream from dripping in really hot days, but they themselves can slide off during the summer heat so make sure you eat them quickly! -

I received the Vichy Ideal Body Spa Shower Gel-Cream to review as a member of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. This is my favourite product out of the three Vichy products that I have tried. regular soap bars leave my skin feeling very dry, so I always use shower gel to clean my body. Vichy's shower gel smells amazing and lathers wonderfully on my shower pouf. I use this in combination with Vichy's body milk moisturizer and my skin is absolutely radiant afterwards! I only apply a small dollop of this every time I use it so I'm happy to know that the bottle will last me a long time! -

I received the Vichy Ideal Body Replumping Lip Balm to review as a member of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. Appearance wise, I absolutely love the packaging of this lip balm. It is convenient and will not roll around a surface due to it's shape. The balm comes out like toothpaste as you squeeze it and smells a bit fruity (like cherry). One thing I did not like about the lip balm is that it did not completely settle on my lips...Sure my lips felt smooth after the application but it just felt like the balm was resting on top of my lips and I had to reapply frequently. Over all, I didn't feel like the results of this balm justified its price. -

I received the Vichy Ideal Body Milk to review as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. This moisturizer is super lightweight and feels great on the skin. I use it after a shower and it literally leaves my skin silky and glowing. The product is easy to apply, absorbs nicely AND smells wonderful. This product is on the pricier side, but since it does contain quality ingredients, I believe that you get what you paid for. If the Vichy Body Milk ever goes on sale, I will likely be repurchasing it. -

I received the Adrien Gagnon Super Energex to review as a member of the Chick Advisor Product Review Club. I diluted this product first in water since I ran out of juice and was okay with the taste. I MUCH prefer it with orange juice or fruit juice though, as recommended in the instructions. The packaging was very unique and the product was easy to open and consume. I did not notice an immediate effect after consumption over the course of a week , but I suppose product needs to be taken everyday for long term effects. The red ginseng in the Super Energex is a unique ingredient that claims to revitalize and energize the body, and because it is a natural ingredient, I did not expect immediate change in my body or overall health. I will be updating my review when I finish all 20 ampoules. -

I received the Adrien Gagnon Decadent Fudge Nutriforme Bars to review as a member of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. The bars were covered in a thin chocolate layer and the centre is quite dense and chewey, which I find to be excellent since it satiates hunger. There are also tiny pieces of crunchy wafer bits to add some new texture to the bars. The taste of the Nutriforme bars is mildly sweet, which I think is perfect for such a dense bar. It was difficult to adjust to the meal replacement plan. What worked for me was to incorporate lots of water and some fruit into my replacement meals and to separate the Nutriforme bar in half so I would have two portions in one meal. The bars are filled with loads of nutrients such as vitamins, calcium, protein and more, so it is not the same as any other chocolate bars that are 270 calories. Overall, really enjoyed my experience in trying this product. In combination with exercise, this would be a great way to lose or maintain weight quickly but in a healthy manner. -

I received this product for free as a member of the ChickAdvisor Review Club. Nair™ WAX READY-STRIPS Face & Bikini are the perfect size to wax my eyebrows and fuzz near my mouth. Since hot wax can drip and make a mess, it's not really suitable for waxing around precise areas such as the eyebrows. With these wax strips, all it takes is 10 seconds to warm it in your hands, separate the strips so you have 2 uses (or more if you cut them even smaller) stick it on, and zip, the hairs are off! I make sure that once I apply the strip, I apply a bit of pressure in the direction of hair growth, this ensures that the additional heat from my fingers will make the wax grip on to the hairs properly. Overall I am very happy with Nair's wax ready strips, the quality is great, the design of the box is eye-catching, and the strips remind me of bubblegum! Although the strips seem small, I know they will definitely last a long time because I cut each in half and one strip is enough for both eyebrows. -
