Eucerin Repair Intensive Lotion has completely changed how I feel about my skin! I have really dry and cracked skin. I use Eucerin lotion with 10% urea on my legs and elbows right after my showers and my skin stays moisturized until my next shower! What differentiate this product from others is that it contains urea, an ingredient that softens, moisturizes and helps to reduce the amount of water lost through the skin. I never have to worry about cracked elbows when wearing short sleeves or cracked legs when wearing shorts ever again. It is also fragrance free, suitable for sensitive skin or those that are intolerable to fragranced products. Since I only target the extremely dry areas on my body, a single bottle has lasted me a long time. It's a product definitely worth buying (keeping)! -

I received Batiste Dry Shampoo for free as a member of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. This is my first time using the Batiste brand, although I have used dry shampoo in the past, since I have darker coloured hair, the dry shampoo spray would make my roots look dusty white. Batiste Dark and Deep Brown dry shampoo eliminates that problem as it comes out in a dark brown tint, making it usable for brown and black hair alike. The Dry shampoo has a refreshing scent to add some "cleanness" to my hair. The bottle is sleek and easy to use, the product is easy to apply and messaged into my hair. Overall it is a fantastic idea and product to appeal to those with darker hair colour! -

I received this product to try for free as a part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. The Brookside Fruit and Nut bars are neatly sorted by colour based on their flavours (this one is violet). They make a great energy bar because they are low in sodium, and provides healthy calories from whole roasted almonds and fruit bits. The cranberry with blackberry bar was just sweet enough to balance out with the rich flavours of the almonds and pumpkin seeds. I would highly recommend these bars because they are definitely a better (in flavour and ingredients) alternative to the generic chocolate granola bars! -

I was selected to try the Brookside Dark Chocolate Fruit & Nut Bars for free as a member of the ChickAdvisor Product review Club. Out of the three Brookside bars I have tried, cherry with pomegranate had to be my favourite. A big problem I have with cherry flavoured foods is that they are flavoured (meaning they taste artificial)! However, these fruit bars are made with real fruit, whole almonds and nuts so I can enjoy and savour every bite. I love the tartness of the dried cherry mixed with the crunchy texture of the almonds. These bars are great as a on the go snack, as a pre-workout energy bar, or to enjoy with a cup of tea or coffee. The dark chocolate layer on the bottom of the bar really complements the sweet and tart fruit bits! I definitely recommend people to give this a try; it's healthy and tasty! -

I received this product for free as a member of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. The Brookside Dark Chocolate Fruit and Nut bars are super tasty and nutritious with a hint of chocolaty goodness! The Blueberry with Acai Bar had a familiar taste because it was similar to the Brookside Dark Chocolate Acai with Blueberry I used to have as a snack. The roasted almond gave a very satisfying crunch along with a layer of dark chocolate at the bottom that was not overpowering but rather complemented the entirety of the bar. I ate the bar mid-afternoon, when I was feeling a little hungry. The nuts in the bar contains plenty of fiber, magnesium, and energy for me to last a while before lunch. Overall it is a terrific product, but I can't seem to find a good online retail store to purchase more of these bars. I had a look on Amazon.ca but found they were charging CDN$ 174.32 ... I'll try Amazon.com instead. -

I received the Garnier Skinactive Clearly Brighter Brightening & Smoothing Moisturizer as a member of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. The first thing I noticed about this moisturizer is the floral smell. I knew it reminded me EXACTLY of another product...Garnier Ultra-Lift Transformer Skin Corrector. As a heads-up for people who are sensitive to scented moisturizers, this product packs quite a punch in the first few minutes of application, then fades into a nicer, floral smell. This moisturizer settles in my skin quite nicely, it does not leave a sticky feeling once it's been throughly applied on the skin. I love that it has a bit of SPF (15) so that even if it's a little bit, I know my skin is protected from UV rays in the morning. The packaging is simple and convenient, just two pumps and it's enough product to cover my face and neck. I am looking forward to results of prolonged use, but so far, I am very satisfied with Garnier! -

Garnier Micellar Water really feels just like water on my skin! I received this product to try for free as a member of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. When it had arrived, I couldn't wait to try the Micellar water, so I applied some makeup intentionally to test it out. Prior to using this product, I had never even heard of Micellar water. I was amazed that this bottle of liquid contains no oil, and no alcohol, yet is able to remove makeup and leave skin feeling clean refreshed. My overall impression of the Garnier Micellar water is that it does remove makeup, especially foundation really well. I had some trouble taking off waterproof gel liner, but since it is super gentle on the eyes, I could really press the product against my eye to let it soak thoroughly before wiping away remaining makeup. What is also awesome is that the Micellar water is super affordable for such a big bottle! I've been using it everyday for just over a week and it's still pretty full. When I get the chance, I definitely would like to try the Garnier Micellar water in the blue container, which claims to remove waterproof mascara! -

Venus Razors are a tad bit more expensive than the disposable ones, but of course the quality is a lot better. The first shave is always the best, the blades just glides along the skin and leaves my skin so smooth! I have yet to receive a cut from using this razor and on average, I can use it 4-5 shaves on both legs. -

My dog Ginger tried the Nutrience Grain Free Canadian Pacific Formula and she is loving it! She had the opportunity to try it for free from the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. The smell of fish upon opening the bag was pretty strong, but as long as Ginger likes it, I like it too. Instead of seeing "Ground yellow corn, chicken by-product meal, corn gluten meal, whole wheat flour" as the first ingredients on the list, I see "Salmon, herring, hake, sole, cod, flounder, sebastes, cod liver" on the Nutrience SubZero dog food, you really get what you paid for! It's a little pricy but I actually can see the difference in fur quality, stool consistency and overall energy level of my dog! Ginger's coat has gotten a bit shinier, not as dry and dull looking as 2 weeks ago. We started noticing a softer (but still firm) stool almost immediately after she transitioned to Nutrience. I have already purchased a second bag with the $5.00 off coupon because of how wonderful the food is and how much she enjoys it. I bought her the Prairie Red formula to mix up the taste and to add a little variety to her diet. The Prairie Red formula smelled like liver compared to the fish smell of the Canadian Pacific Formula, but both are definitely just as nutritious!
P.S Thank you for the Nutrience Selfie Stick, I wanted to take a picture with my dog while she was eating but she was enjoying the food so much that she wouldn't let me get close :P
