Julep is a nail and makeup company that is still relatively new on the market. I bought many of their products when they were doing their promotion sale a while ago and I was really satisfied with many of my purchases. The first product I tried was this nail polish called Myriam - Classic with a Twist. The polish applied really smooth, with a good quality applicator brush. I also love the rich pigmentation of the polish and the variety of shades they offer on their website. This colour in particular is very vibrant, I love wearing it in the spring and summer. The wear time is average, if I don't do much housework, the polish lasts on average week or more before it starts to chip (with top coat). Go check out Julep's website, they're always adding more unique shades to their collection. You're bound to find something you love. -

I have combination skin (oily t-zone, dry skin everywhere else). I bought this foundation at Sephora hoping to finally find a product that could manage my oily skin. This foundation is slightly on the thicker side but applies fairly well with enough blending. After setting it lightly with setting powder, I went about my day and checked my face every couple of hours. Amazingly, it wasn't as oily, and still looked matte. This is a really good investment and I'm glad I listened to the Sephora employee to try out this foundation. -

I applied the time-wise serum at night and it feels nice and light on my skin but overall, no noticeable changes. Perhaps I needed to use it for more than a month, but the vial doesn't contain too much product so I wasn't able to use it for much longer than a month. -

Coco butter scented Vaseline is great if you like a bit of fragrance for your hands. The smell is very sweet, and softens as it's absorbed in to the skin. I use this specifically for my hands and my legs. Vaseline is extremely effective at protecting dry skin from the elements because it creates a barrier between your skin and the air, this is especially good during winter time, where the harsh winds can dry out the skin, making it crack. I prefer using regular non scented Vaseline over this to use over my lips because I don't want to taste the artificial flavour if it gets in my mouth, otherwise, this is a great addition as a Vaseline product! -

This shampoo is very affordable but it doesn't clean my hair well enough for me to like it. I have pretty oily hair so I have to wash it after 2 days. In the beginning I was noticing that my hair got oily faster (a day after washing) , so I tried it without the conditioner. But it still didn't give me the flowing feel after washing. -

This body wash smells really good and leave skin feeling silky and moisturized. I have really dry skin so I can't use regular soap bars because they usually strip all the oil (or what's left of it) from my skin. The body wash has fig extract which I don't know what it does for my skin but figs are high in minerals so it can't be bad for the skin. It it priced reasonably as well and you can usually find it at the bath and body section of any department or drug stores. -

I bought the Clinique sculptionary cheek contouring palette in "Defining Pink" and I absolutely love the colour! The blush has nice pigmentation and looks very natural on my skin. I also like that you can either apply the shades separately for blend them together to create a shimmery effect. I do find that I need to use quite a bit of product for the colour to show, but if I put too much on, it'll look too shimmery. It's alright for me because I don't use too much of one product anyways to keep a "natural" look. It is pricey for a blush so that is a downside if you're looking for a more affordable product. -

I realize this is a frozen food entree and for around a dollar, this meal is a fairly good deal for most. I just did not enjoy the taste and texture of the food. The Fettuccine Alfredo has a lot of sodium, as with many other frozen food. It comes as 2 icy blocks which you them microwave and mix the sauce with the pasta. The taste is surprisingly bland for something that has more than 600 mg of sodium (more than 1/4th of daily recommended intake). It also does not fill me up so i'll either have to snack on something else or eat another box of michelina's. Overall, it's okay for lazy days but don't try to survive on this. -

The Garnier Whole Blends Honey shampoo is as effective as most other shampoos on the market. I like the bottle design of the shampoo, very vibrant and eye-catching. The shampoo cleans my hair but doesn't dry it out too much (though it depends on your hair type). The conditioner makes my hair silky smooth and prevents too many tangles from forming. My favourite part about this shampoo apart from its affordable price is the smell. The smell of the shampoo is so wonderful that sometimes I'll have my hair in a ponytail and just smell it. Overall, I liked this shampoo from Garnier and am looking forward to trying new scents. -

I have mixed feelings about this foundation. On the one hand, it has pretty good coverage and does not make my face oily-looking. On the other hand, the foundation feels thick on my skin, in combination with a mattifying feel as well. As a result, I only use this foundation on areas where I need most coverage. The spot above my jaw tend to be really red so I use this foundation to cover it up and then use another foundation for the rest of my face. -
