COVERGIRL LashBlast Volume Mascara

The Marcelle New-Age Anti-Wrinkle Make-Up comes in a nice, controllable dispense pump and has a smooth and medium consistency. The coverage is light, does not cover up much, and not long lasting as a result. I would say that this is closer to a tinted moisturizer than a foundation. This would work well for complexions that are very nice to begin with without any imperfections like, scaring, broken capillaries, rosacea, undereye circles, etc. Since this foundation is sheer, if you are looking to cover even minimal problem areas, this is not the foundation for you. However, using a concealer in addition to this foundation should help. Overall, this foundation is more of a tint that minimally evens out the skin's tone.
I did not see any reduction in the signs of aging as advertised.

I could not find information anywhere on the site about what the two "best beauty ingredients" are nor information on the "active ingredients" used in this product. I'm often hesitant about companies' flashy descriptions without some proof on their research or at least explicit names/descriptions of new breakthrough ingredients used in products.
Other things I would like to mention is that this foundation has some silicones in it but I have had great luck with it and it has not broken me out. It does, however oxidizes very quickly but not too excessively. I think the majority of the orange-y tint of it is due mainly to the actual colour of the foundation (I used Linen which is supposed to be a warm shade and should not have any orange in it), which along with the limited colour choice, very disappointing.
I would only recommend this foundation to people who have great skin and are looking for a sheer wash of foundation.

I am reviewing palettes: Taupe Temptress and Irresistibly Ivy
I had high hopes for these palettes after reading them being alluded to department store brand eyeshadows in current magazines, however I was very disappointed in their overall quality.
Although they appeared very pigmented and and silky when I first tested the consistency out on my hand, I found that the eyeshadows just "sat on top" of the skin and did not have any "hold" and could be brushed off too easily. It was also disappointed that the colour payoff and texture were not consistent in both palettes-- some shades were pigmented and for some, I could not build any colour onto the eyelids. Having used an eyeshadow primer, I achieved better results, but without one, I would never recommend using these palettes. I also did not like the packaging because it felt flimsy and poorly made.
Although the TEXTURE of these eyeshadows are very comparable to the shimmery shades from Stila, the metallic shadows from Shu Uemura, and some Veluxe Pearl finishes from MAC, they are not as pigmented and cannot achieve the same smooth and blended quality.
For under $10CAD a palette, these eyeshadows are a great deal for occasional makeup wearers.

L’Oréal Paris Collagen Filler Lip has a Anti-Feathering Cream to redefine lips and a Plumping Serum to plump up and smooth lips. I am unhappy with the the Anti-Feathering Cream because it did not smooth out lines around the mouth to redefine lips to prevent feathering, and so I was doubtful that the Plumping Serum would do what it promises. During the initial days of testing out both ends of the products, I noticed no difference in my lips but after about a week, I noticed that my lips were indeed fuller and because they were ever-so-slightly plumped, there were less lines and so they felt and looked a lot smoother. Still, the first step of the Anti-Feathering Cream disappoints. The Plumping Serum also helps to to smooth out the application of lipstick which I like. Overall, I would not recommend this to anyone because it does not do what it promises. -

Dove Ultimate Supreme VisiblySmooth Anti-Perspirant works to make hair finer, looking less visible and easier to remove-- however, this takes a few weeks of use and I have only been using this for a couple weeks so there is no difference so far.
I found the scents available to be unique from what I'm used to (like clean laundry, powdery, fresh showers, etc.). I found that there were herbal hints in the two scents available. I really enjoyed the 'Wild Rose' one, it was light, fresh, and pretty smelling. I didn't like the scent of 'Nature Fresh' because it felt too 'sharp' and the herbal scent was too strong. I personally prefer the typical the light and very fresh scents over the harsh scent of the 'Nature Fresh.'
In terms of effectiveness as an anti-perspirant, it worked as well as any other Dove or Unilever anti-perspirant I've tried so I would definitely recommend this product!

LashBlast Length is designed to give dramatic and "extreme, notice-me lashes all day long." One of my favourite mascaras is LashBlast (it is very dramatic, black, and volumizing) so I had high hopes for LashBlast Length's ability to coat lashes darkly and provide great lengths. I always use the shade 'Very Black' in LashBlast and I tried the same shade (Very Black 800) from LashBlast Length. Unfortunately, I did not get the dark lashes I am used to even in the same shade. It was also disappointing to see that the mascara could not live up to it's promise of extreme lash length either. It provided SOME length but I don't believe it gave "80% longer looking lashes" as promised (I could not actually test this though).
One of the most disappointing things about LashBlast Length is that it does not hold any curl. I know that this is not a curling mascara but I expect any decent mascara (even clear mascara) to be able to hold a curl regardless. This mascara weighs down eyelashes and straightens out lashes with natural curls or have been curled with an eyelash curler.
One nice thing about this mascara is that it separates eyelashes well and does not clump.
I also enjoy the sleek bright yellow packaging of this mascara-- it's simple and eye-catching and easy to hold on to. I like it much better than LashBlast's packaging which I find to be clumsy in comparison.
I would not purchase this again because it is not a great lengthening mascara, the darkest shade of black does not show up well, and weighs down & straightens lashes.

This eye cream was very fast absorbing and moisturized the eye area well and helped it to feel soft and smooth. However, it did not actually improve the eye area but just make it appear smoother with the high percentage of silicones in the cream. I did not notice any great reduction in puffiness or dark circles as promised though. Although this eye cream did not help the condition of the eye area, it does what it promised, it makes the eye area LOOK more smooth (not actually BECOME smooth). To really combat the first signs of aging, I'd like to look for an eye cream that will target the problem rather than conceal it. The only thing I enjoyed about this cream is that it is a nice light moisturizer. -
Always Infinity Pads
Always Inifinity are very very thin and absorbent. The best thing is that they are very comfy and don't move around with wear. These are definitely recommended!
