These two products were an addition to the original Hollywood Hair Extension Maker that we received for free to review.
“Starstruck”- This one was a cute addition and idea. We simply braided multiples strands together and then secured it onto the headband like the instructions said. My 9 year old loved it! She said she’s keeping it with her other headbands! She doesn’t know how to do a braid, so it’s probably better to have a parent to do this with depending on age.
“Party Pop”- She was especially excited to do this one- it looked so cute in the picture. Each ‘bun’ piece (it came with2) comes with bendable metal in it to ensure the extensions won’t move, and you use 2 extension pieces for each. It was hard for her to do it herself so I had to. Even when I did it there was a lot of space between the ‘hairs’ and it didn’t look nice at all. When I bent it and connected the ends together, like the directions said, we didn’t like the look of it, so we decided to salvage the 2 extensions that were on it. That’s when the connecting plastic enclosure wouldn’t come apart and broke in other parts. It came undone but it was pretty rough looking. We weren’t fond of the bun part of the refill pack.
However,It also came with a blue Bobby pin to secure an extension into a pony tail, which looked very cute on her also, that was our favorite part out of them all. She will definitely wear that one in the future.
That being said, I probably would not go out of my way to purchase these,m. But since we have them we will put them to use!

This was one of the products that I got for free to review! We were excited to receive a package and when we saw what it was we were intrigued... we read the instructions and did everything right step by step, and the result was okay. The machine it included is cute, it basically pulls one thread out of a strip of ribbon. The ‘bobbin’ came attached to each ribbon, and it was very easy to use. The colors were great and it was nice to customize the strands. When we tried to curl the strands it didn’t work- it said to leave it curled and wet for 2 mins after spraying it 8 times 4 ft away, which we did. We even let it sit for 10 mins (2 times).. still the same as before! The end result looked okay in her hair, I think it can be worked with to look better though. We will use it again and see what else we can do since we have it, but I’m not sure I would buy it on my own. -

My niece was soooo excited the days leading up to the LOL Glamper arriving in the mail, and she was not disappointed when it came! Opening all the surprises, exclusive dolls, and little add-ons was so much fun for her. She plays with it almost everyday- and she’s had it for almost 2 months! I would probably not buy it again, not only because it was a bit expensive but because we don’t need more than one. Definitely worth a one time buy if you’re willing to splurge on a toy! -

Always have been a lover of the original Game of Life! The fact that they (finally!) introduced pets into the game was a hit with my family! The kids loved that part of it. The ONLY downside was constantly having to pick up ‘life’ cards, instead of traditionally just grabbing a life token; It’s a cute idea to add more to the game but it gets old fast. Other than that it’s a great game and we will always play it every month! -

I bought this for my 9 year old niece, she was very excited upon opening it because the idea of these dolls was great, but she was disappointed. The quality was great as always, except for the HAIR PIECE. The hair itself was fine, but the separate hair pieces that are supposed to attach and detach easily, don’t. They go on the head fine, but fall off right away, so it’s hard for her to even play with. It also didn’t make much sense of how to put the hair on. -

I would say it’s better suited for children under 7, I think they would get more fun out of it. -
