This is a white creamy primer, but does not leave a white cast on the skin. Nice packaging, no wastage whatsoever and easy to get last bit out. -

This product is meant to set your face makeup so it lasts all day long. Would i say it does that specific job? Ehh....I would have to say no.
HOWEVER, this is amazing for just spritzing your eyeshadow brushes so you can use the shadows wet. I like using it this way because the bottle is just perfect, it sprays just the right amount and I have never had it mess up on me.
When used all over the face, I don't find this effective. Fix takes away cakiness, this does not. Ben Nye final seal makes your makeup stay on all day long, this does not. Compared to other brands, this is very sub par when it comes to using all over the face. This is disappointing, because that is really what this product is meant to do.
I would not repurchase, simply because I will continue to put water in the bottle to spritz my brushes with. I am glad I purchased though, as the bottle really is good for what I use it for.

For my cousins wedding, I decided to splurge and convinced Mary-Lou to move in with me. We got on right away. The only highlighters I had were very Albatross-like, and were too yellow to look natural on me. The colour (a neutral gold) of Mary-Lou may look a little bit plain when swatched, but that's a good thing: it proves that it will look good on many skintones (maybe except for really dark ladies).
I couldn't really care for the packaging much really, don't really like it nor hate it, but it's really sturdy! Don't have any issues opening it - but I heard the powder is fragile so I wouldn't travel with it though. Also, the mirror she carries is always convenient.
But oh my goat, it is SO pigmented. Even after a tiny dip with my brush in the powder, I still need to tap some product off - although I have to mention that I like really subtle highlights. Some said that it just 'sits' on your skin and looks too obvious, why yes of course it does, if you don't blend it in. If you know how to blend it correctly and use a fan brush, it can be as subtle (or as intense) as you like. That's the biggest tip I can give you with this. (I use a firm brush (from ebay) to blend it out.)

this felt greasy and oily throughout the time I wore this foundation (during which I didn't do much, I just was out in the humid weather having dinner), and my skin felt suffocated. I kept going to look at myself in the mirror and touching my face, even though the product looked and felt fine. It was all down to how it FELT.
Needless to say I rushed home and took this off my face immediately, so I can't judge on its 12-hour claim. Maybe in a very very thin layer as a primer, it might do better, but I don't really want to test it out again. It didn't work well with oily skin AND flaky skin, so I don't know who to recommend this to either. You really have to test it out yourself, because judging by many other reviews this product can definitely work well. It is just not for me, unfortunately!

This blush is famous for a reason. It's freaking beautiful. It gives an effortless warm pink flush to the cheeks. It can literally be worn with any make up look. I highly recommend nars blush in general. Sin and Madly are my other two favorites.

This is one of those foundations that never fails for me. Perfect when I want a nice natural finish without my skin feeling cakey. It smells amazing, kind of like roses. But not a lingering scent once its on your face it fades away. I would say this is a sheer to medium coverage but its very buildable you could get a fuller coverage if you needed. Its very natural on the skin & makes my skin feel like skin. I normally wear mac studio fix or estee lauder double wear but this is perfect for the summer when I want a lighter more natural foundation, for a light coverage foundation it really makes my skin look flawless. Only downside is the price it is very expensive! Their is a great range of warm & cool tone shades which is a bonus. If you prefer full coverage or you have very bad skin from acne etc. this foundation may not be for you, but definitely try a sample as I was a firm believer in full coverage foundation until I came across this! -

My skin is super oily on the tzone and oily everywhere else. I LOOOOVE this foundation, it has a great coverage, quite natural finish/looking, long lasting. It covers my minor imperfection with one coat and it cover ANY kind of blemish in two coats. It looks super natural, as long as you apply it well. Don't pack this foundie on your brush, rather work slowly with thin coat on the brush and work on one area at a time. Because my skin is super oily, it gets too oily after about 5 hours, BUT THE COLOR STAYS PUT. I have worn this foundation for 12 hours and although my face was shiny, this foundation was still looking great and not patchy.
I'm an NC42 in MAC pro long wear foundie, and 3W2 CASWEW is my perfect match. It matches my skin in daylight and in any other lights.
Anyone with normal-oily skin would probably love this foundation! :D
Now about the price, seriously people you're gonna use this up for at least two years, so if you count the cost-per-use, it's actually very affordable.
The packaging is quite annoying though, however I have this little spatulla I got from an eyecream I bought years ago, and I used the spatulla to get a lil bit of the foundie. Also, I always blend the foundation on a little plate before applying it on my face using a flat foundation brush. Some people might think I'm crazy or unpractical, but thats the only way I can do my foundation, and maybe that's why I love using flat foundation brush, because I think I use it the *right* way rather than packing on too much foundation on the brush and the application becomes streaky and hideous.
ANYWAY I totally love this foundation and I recommend it to everyone with normal-oily skin! :D

This primer definitely helps minimize the appearance of my pores and, true to its claims, it really does "blur" them. It also helps create a smoother base for my foundation, while extending the wear of my foundation by a few hours. It doesn't stop pooling with foundations that already pool up in my pores, and it also doesn't control oil when it comes to my crazy-oily skin (but it doesn't seem to add any oil either). If you're already a fan of silicone-based primers and you're looking for an inexpensive alternative to Smashbox Photo Finish Primer or Benefit The Professional, I think you might want to consider this one. If you already love and use Monistat Chafing Relief Gel in place of primer, I'm afraid that Baby Skin probably won't provide you with anything that you're not already accustomed to, but I personally prefer Baby Skin to the Monistat product. -
