A friend gave me a Spice Market pillar candle as a thank you gift a few months ago. It blended with the beach themed decorations I have out in August, so I just opened it last week. The scent is fine while burning -- not as strong as a Yankee...   +

A friend gave me a Spice Market pillar candle as a thank you gift a few months ago. It blended with the beach themed decorations I have out in August, so I just opened it last week.

The scent is fine while burning -- not as strong as a Yankee Candle, but still enough to scent the room. But what amazes me is that the scent of the candle is still present when it's NOT lit.

If I sit near the candle or walk through the room, I get subtle whiffs of spice. I've never had a candle that does that before, and I love it!

I would wager that the jar candles are mediocre, since the wax is encased in the glass, but I will definitely go looking for more of the Ashland pillars!    -
