Muskol is one of my favorite insect repellent as it is not too harsh in scent and yet works for up to 8 hours. In a serious mosquito province such as Manitoba you need something that works well. Funny/Important fact about this product is that it actually contains Deet, which was used by the U.S. army way back in the day - only a fact that a Social Studies teacher would care to know! This product works well and lasts for a considerable amount of time, it may come in a small bottle but does not require you to reapply! -

I received this product as part of the Review Club Offers. I have definitely started to enjoy the different vitamin waters that are out there right now, not necessarily due to their alleged content of vitamins (as I have heard many different responses on this - some people say that the body does not have a chance to absorb any of the vitamins in these products) but mainly for their taste. I feel like the reason I have liked the other vitamin waters is because they taste like watered down juice - which is what I typically tend to do with the juice that I drink. I am not a fan of overly sweetened products and that is the first thing that I noticed about this product. It tastes like juice, and that surprised me. I also liked the taste of this juice which surprised me even more! It certainly does not taste like water. I tried three different flavors Strawberry Lemonade, Black and Blue Berry, Fuji Apple Pear and enjoyed them all. Strawberry Lemonade was my favorite. The price of the product is average in my opinion, it does not compare to the price of a pop, which my husband won't let me forget...but I stand my ground that it may cost more, but it benefits me more in the end than an aspartame filled drink. Which brings me to my next point - I checked the ingredients on the bottle after my first sip because I could not figure out how a 10 calorie drink can be so sweet - no aspartame added at all! Just naturally sweetened which is definitely an added bonus to the product. Overall I would purchase this product again, and feel good about recommending it to others, especially juice drinkers! -

I received this product as part of the Product Review Club Offer and I loved it. I am a huge fan of air fresheners as I find that in a small living space scents travel too quickly from the kitchen or bathroom to the main living area. I put the air freshener in the middle of the living area and it was able to reach quite far with its scents. I am not a huge fan of this scent this, the lavender is a little too strong for my liking and I have not been able to really smell the gentle vanilla yet (and I have had it going for a week). I believe that the lavender is overpowering the gentle vanilla and as I prefer soft scents like vanilla or coconut I would have liked it the other way around. I like that it plugs into the wall and is not a battery based product. I have been using the Scent bug from Bath & Body Works, which is a battery based product, and find myself getting frustrated by having to change the batteries all the time. I also appreciate the choice of a high or low setting. I have tried a similar product in the past and so knew not to turn it to high as it can be very overpowering, low is perfect though! I would definitely buy new scents to try out for this product, thank you ChickAdvisor for letting me try this! -

I also received this product from the Product Review Club - I tried the Mocha Fudge Brownie. I absolutely loved it - the price was a littler higher than I would regularly like to spend on Ice Cream but I was sold on the fact that it was low fat :). For that fact that it was low fat ice cream I would not have been able to tell the difference. It was absolutely delicious and I am most certainly sold on this new type of Breyers Ice Cream. I absolutely love this lip gloss! I buy a good number of them every time I am at Bath & Body. I love the look of it with the different shades and it tastes great too. The only thing that bothers me at times is that my hair can get stuck to my lips on a windy day :). Overall I would definitely recommend it! -

I received this product through the Product Review Club and was quite excited to see a little tub of moisturizer along with it. Thank you Garnier! The cleanser itself was a new idea for me as I typically do not use a brush like that on my face. I was pleased to see that the bristles were not plastic and did not give the coarse massage that I was expecting, instead they are rubbery and move along with your face to give quite the pleasant massage feeling. I really enjoyed the process and was impressed with how well thought out it was with the opening and closing feature ( I can imagine lots of spills and messes without this!). At first I did not get enough on the brush the first time and so I added more the second time around and was pleased with how it spread across my face. The product itself has a nice and refreshing scent to it and the accompanying lotion did too. It left my face dryer than I like it to be and so the moisturizer was a good feature to have, I can imagine that this product would be better for oily skin than my sensitive skin. I do not think that I will be going out to buy it but that may still change once I finish using the bottle up!

I went for my very first facial at Edward Carriere and I must say that it was an interesting experience all around. The Spa itself is one that I would definitely recommend in the Winnipeg area. I have had a hard time finding a spa with this type of atmosphere since moving from B.C. and will probably go back there for other treatments. In regards to the facial I was not as happy with it as I was expecting. I have heard people rave about Facials for years now and so I thought it was time to try it out for myself. I naturally have pretty nice skin and have never had much to complain about, the treatments itself was good but the aftermath was one that I did not enjoy. My face was quite flushed when I left and I felt that I had just had my life dose of oily materials for my face. I also started to get quite itchy pretty quickly after the facial. I am going to chop it up to having some sort of allergy to the products used. I have pretty sensitive skin when it comes to different products so once I find something that works I do not typically try out new stuff for my face (in terms of lotions and eye shadow). So overall, the experience was great and relaxing, however my face was not meant for facials! -

I also picked up this product from a coupon sent to me, I was a bit skeptical when I saw the price and the size of the bottle that went along with the price. I do not think that I would pay that price for such a small bottle, but nevertheless I had a coupon :). The first time I used it it almost felt slightly sticky in comparison to other lotions I used but as I was applying it it was an almost thirst quenching experience for the skin. It goes on smooth and does not take too long to dry and leaves my skin soft for a good day. As I said before I am not sure I would buy it again due to the price and small quantity that in comes in but I am definitely enjoying the bottle that I have right now! -

I have not tried the Shea Body Butter from the Body Shop but I am a huge fan of the body butter in general. I am one who struggles with dry skin and I love how soft and smooth my skin is after I use body butter. I am a huge fan of the Coconut or Mango during the summer months and am currently using the cranberry one for more of the winter. I also have a small papaya body butter container at work for just my hands, I am not the hugest fan of that scent but it does soften up my hands! -
