I have never used this product nor brand before, I felt extremely joyful when I received the free sample of “Shu Uemura” cleansing oil from Butterly. Since having heard great reviews from this brand, I wanted to find out on my own. Starting off, the oil came in a sample pack that contained a reasonable amount of the oil, fortunately the package was easy to open(tear) & there were no problems that arose, it came in good condition upon delivery. I was able to get only one use from the sample package, however I enjoyed the experience of testing the oil. Moving on, I replaced my current cleanser with the Shu Uemura and I used it at nighttime. The color of the oil was an yellowish shade that I did in fact like not too dark/light. The dispersion of the oil from package turned out to be uncomplicated. Fragrance of the oil gave off an pleasant smell, resembling a clean/natural/aromatherapy scent nothing overwhelming. I would give the ease of application a 9.3 out of 10(with 10 being the highest). I disliked how the oil was runny like a watery texture & really thin. The oil was tainted, being one of things I disliked the most. However, after applying the oil, I did notice my pores looked less visible & it cleaned all of the makeup off of my face effectively. The only thing was it left my facial skin appearance with an excessive oil look & I felt some leftover residue on my face. Thankfully, I did not experience any breakouts/allergic reactions to the product. My facial skin did feel ravishing,smooth, clean and soft after use. I would definitely recommend this oil to friends/family, it was the best cleansing oil I have ever used & better than most similar products on the market. This sample influenced my decision to purchase in the near future. 8.5/10
