Like to garden. Like to decorate your yard. Then this is a place you really should visit. Small but very nice. They carry a lot of products that are hard to find. Seeds that no one else has. Even carry seed you buy in bulk, they measure out what you want,from a few grams to a kg or more.
What I like the most is the knowledgeable staff and the advise they can give. If they do not carry an item they usually know who does. Prices are average and in some cases low. They do have a few plants in the back but I find these to be a bit pricey, healthier than most but still a bit on the expensive side.
For the avid gardener, definitely a place to check out.

A fantastic shop in my humble opinion. It has something for everyone. Not just for those who love to cook Italian, it has imports from many destinations. A bakery to die for, a deli of the same sort, pasta's, unbelievable. Prices in most case are excellent. Quite often they have some of the best buys on produce in the city.
I love cheese and olives. This is the place to find them, I am actually drooling as I think about it. A bakery that is one of a kind, some of the best pastries and bread I have ever tasted. A little coffee area that serves some of the best coffee in this world, which I am pleased to announce they also sell there. So if you have a coffee and fall in love with the taste, it is okay, you can purchase it right there. My Mom has a sweet tooth and I often will pop in there to pick up a few treats from the cookie aisle. Want to try some different oils and vinegars? Look no further, walnut oil, peanut oil, hazelnut oil, your choice, too many for me to choose from, and the prices are the best in town.
Canned foods galore, all brought in from England, Holland, Italy, Germany etc. I feel sure that whatever it is you want they will have on their shelves.
Do I love this little store, of course I do, how could I not. Do I recommend this store, oh yes it is one of the best that I have found. Usually when I find a specialty type shop like this I cannot afford to shop there. Not this one. You simply have to check this one out, I am certain you will fall in love with it too.

This is an excellent store, so much to see, so much to purchase. If you love to cook this place will definitely boggle your mind. It has every type of pot, pan, decorating item, cookie cutter etc.
Then you go to the back room (my favorite) where you find cook books, ingredients (not general groceries like meats and fresh veggies). But ingredients for making candies, cookies, baking and any culinary delight you may want. These ingredients include hard to find spices, flavorings and even dried vegetables. Mustard and coco powders, Vanilla from foreign destinations, walnuts and almonds and any thing else you may need. I specially love their own line dried vegetables for adding to soups (When rehydrated these vegetables are in little cubes and each one has its own individual taste, something I have never found elsewhere).
They teach classes of a variety of things all related to cooking and baking. Bread making, Candy Making, Using a dehydrator (of which they carry one of the best), and so many other classes to long a list to itemize here. As I mentioned earlier this is a gourmet cooks delight. Anything you might need in the kitchen is available here, from a lowly vegetable peeler to that expensive pot you have been dreaming about.
Staff are so very helpful and give freely of their time never rushing you even when the store is at it's busiest. They seem to know how to use all of the products sold there and are more than happy to explain things to you. While some of the items are costly the majority are within reach of most of our budgets. If you live in the Edmonton, area or are merely driving though, take time to pop into this lovely little store and check it out. If you love to cook, be prepared to spend quite a bit of time there, so much to see. It is really mind boggling the amount and type of products offered for sale.
Would I recommend this little boutique of a store, you betcha it is one of my favorites and anyone who I have taken with me has gone back time and time again. Such a little gem hidden in such an out of the way location.

I enjoy the family of Saporito products so when I saw their vegetable oil thought I would give it a try. It is OK, but not as light as I am used to. Good for frying and in most recipes. If you are making something that needs a more delicate oil I would not recommend this one. It is very reasonably priced and an excellent product for most dishes, but I would not recommend it for those special items that need a lighter oil. Found at No Frills, RCSS Warehouse Club and I believe the cost for the 3L bottle was $4.89 which at today's prices is an excellent buy. I did buy it on sale though and cannot tell you what the regular price normally is.
And yes I would recommend this product for everyday cooking, at the price it is an excellent addition to any kitchen or pantry.

I usually go for the Asian type, like Teriyaki, Orange Chicken etc. They come on sale often, sometimes 4 or 5 for $10.00. Makes a quick, economical meal better than a burger. Better for you, except they tend to be high in sodium. Low in calories, so if you are concerned about your weight they are an excellent product to have on hand. -

It is hard to believe that they sell them for only $1.00, but it is true. I will buy 3 or 4 pairs when they have them on for $1.00. Such a good buy.
These flip flops are very well made, last a long time and are really comfortable. Do not understand these people who won't wear them because of "that thingy between your toes", it is just something that you soon get used to.
Flip flops are great to wear around the house, I love to slip them on after having a bath and putting cream on my feet. They rinse off nicely and keep the floors clean (not to mention keep my feet clean).

I was cleaning out the bathroom cupboard, came across a 500 ml bottle of the body Shop Vanilla Bath & Shower Gel. Thought I should throw it out, but took the cap off, gave it a smell and low and behold it was still fresh (amazing because it had been in that cupboard for over 5 years) So.. I thought to myself, I should give this a try see if it still good. Would you believe after all this time that product is still fantastic.
That is amazing, no wonder I still use Body Shop products to this day. Most items that have perfumes will be rancid smelling and need to be put in the garbage. Not this one. I poured a little in the tub for my feet and then proceeded to use it as a shower gel. My god, my skin felt wonderful, soft, supple and oh so clean. Better yet I smelled wonderful, the smell of vanilla is such a beautiful one.
Body Shop products are not only made to work well, but to last and last. I will definitely be buying more of their shower gels. They leave my skin so much cleaner and softer than any of the others I have tried. I would recommend this product to anyone who likes to use a shower gel. Oh! and before I forget it did not leave the tub a mess. Was so easy to clean after using this product, that is definitely a plus.

This cream has 7 nourishing moisturizers, restores depleted dull skin. Contains Vitamins A,C & E plus Antioxydants. I can't mention the price as I received this cream as part of a Mother's day gift. It was bought with the purpose of being used on, of all things, my feet. I have super dry skin on my feet and have problems finding cremes or lotions that will rehydrate them. Did this cream work, darn right it did. Do I love it, you bet I do. Will I buy it again, oh yeah! I believe this cream when used on the face will be fantastic, but for now I am to busy enjoying it on my feet. Seriously, my feet have never felt so good, When a product is this good I want the world to know about it.
I am not normally a fan of Gold Bond Products, but this one has changed my mind. I will now explore a few of the other creams they have out there.
My feet usually feel so uncomfortable with such tight skin that tends to crack. Gold Bond Ultimate Restoring Cream has changed all that. From the first use I noticed such an immediate change. Now after several uses it is amazing how soft and supple the skin on the bottom of my feet is. No more tightness or pain, just soft skin.. Next I am going to give it a try on my face, if it works so good on my feet, think what it will do on my face. Thank you Gold Bold.

So much easier to use, not more thumping the bottom of the jar or bottle to get the ketchup to start flowing. I have always used Heinz ketchup. It is the best; and now that they have come out with this new bottle it is so much easier to use. It has made my life so much easier, that's for sure. Even the grandkids like to use it (they always needed help with the older style container). -

Swiffer, once again you have made my life so much easier. I use your 360 duster with the extender to do all my ceiling fixtures, without the extender to dust all the other bits and pieces. It is so easy to dust now, sometimes I don't even move the ornaments, just gently use the Swiffer 360 going over each item to remove dust without actually having to pick them up to dust around them.. You might say it is a 2-in-1 tool. Allows me to dust everything quickly and easily if I am expecting company, simply run the Swiffer 360 gently around everything until the dust is removed. To make the duster part last longer I take it outside first and give it a good shake then I use the vacuum to get rid of most of the excees dust. I find I can clean twice as long with each refill. A marvelous product, I just want to say, where have you been all my life. Wish someone had thought of inventing you a lot lot sooner. -
