Johnson's baby shampoo is not just for babies. My husband's Opthamologist suggested he use baby shampoo to wash the crust away from his eyes every morning. We chose to use Johnson's as thisis the product we used for our children and we trusted it. The shampoo was gentle enough to cclean up the crust around his eyes and did not hurt or do any harm. No wonder we used it on our babies. -

Biotene is an excellent mouthwash, made especially for those with dry mouth. They suggest that you gargle with this mouthwash but I like to brush my teeth with it, that way your teeth are so clean and healthy. Biotene is quite pricey at around $11.00 per 473ml bottle. It is well worth the extra expense, as it appears to protect your teeth and gums from infections and decay. -

I was so looking forward to having Target here in Edmonton. It took me months to even shop there only to find that they didn't carry larger sizes for men or women, prices were okay but not as good as expected. Merchandise in the flyer's was often not in stock. Christmas shopping there was extremely bad. I drove from store to store trying to find specific items. I will give them another try though as I have noticed they are starting to bring in stuff us Canadians prefer, and larger sizing. Have to give them another chance as our market is quite different from that in the USA. -

Once again Kirkland has made it easier for us to manage our budget. The toilet tissue is equivelant to any of the other better known brands. Only problem you might have is finding storage room for all of the rolls. I am lucky I have lots of room and would suggest the price is so good, that you should find a friend who needs this product and share. Great way to save. Tissue is strong, yet soft. Compares well to other top brands. -
Costco's Kirkland brands are excellent, the ASA is 1/2 the price of most other brands for more tablets. Took me such a long time to realize that the price was better, I kept looking just at the price not the price/unit. I buy most of my vitamins... +
Costco's Kirkland brands are excellent, the ASA is 1/2 the price of most other brands for more tablets. Took me such a long time to realize that the price was better, I kept looking just at the price not the price/unit. I buy most of my vitamins and minerals and other similar products under the Kirkland label. Excellent value. -

Lucy's is a little bakery, located in Hazeldean Shopping Center on 66 Ave and 96 St, here in Edmonton. Lucy was a chemist, when she decided she wanted to open her own bakery (Baking being one of her passion's). She took this grungy old shop, scrubbed it up and expanded it to accomadate her wares. Trust me, she makes the best sausage rolls you have ever tasted ($16.00/dozen) Her donuts and pastries are excellent. , her cookies to die for, over-sized and nutritious. She bakes a variety of breads, from the standard white, to whole wheat to raisin/cinnamon,heese and poppy seed. She has recently started making cakes, decorated with fruit, and a cream icing. These are excellent, not overly sweet. Lovely to look at and even better to eat. Lucy's English is not perfect but she tries so hard, she is always offering you a donut or a turn-over for free. A lovely lady overall and her little shop is kept busy with orders for restaurants and that sort as well as her walk in customers. She has people who drive from one side of town to another, simply to pick up some of her delicious treats. That should tell you how good her product is. Good job Lucy, please never move, we love your shop. -

If you like burgers, this is the place to go. They serve other things too but their burgers are legend. You can get beef burgers, lamb burgers, chicken burgers, even veggie burgers. Lat time I was there I ordered their "Bonsai" burger, believe me if you ever eat a burger at this restaurant you will never eat at any of the quick food chains again. Both my son & daughter-in-law had the lamb burger; my daughter and son-n-law ate the chicken or turkey burgers. The grandchildren each had something different. The menu is loaded with different items. I always opt for the sweet potato fries which are the best in town. You can order an alcoholic beverage if you wish, or the coffee is excellent . It is a chain restaurant and there are a variety of locations around the city, once again an excellent choice for any meal of the day. The restaurant itself is a little noisy, but still a comfortable level. I forgot to mention the service; it is 5 star. Staff are so pleasant, efficient and seem to know exactly when to come back to the table to see if anything else is needed. -

This restaurant is definitely a treat (excuse the pun). Have you ever tried Dill Pickle Soup? No! Well I would definitely recommend this to you. It is the best soup I have ever tasted. This restaurant is definitely fine dining, and the prices reflect it. But its a must go. Service is outstanding, they will bring you samples of dishes if you are unsure of what to order. The Bar is well stocked , so selection is excellent. Remember to leave room for dessert! The selections are varied and I would recommend almost everything on the menu. If you live in Edmonton, or are travelling through you must try the Continental Treat.. It is located at 82 (Whyte) Avenue and I believe 106 Street, north side of the avenue. Fine dining at it's best. -

This little restaurant is located at on 23 Avenue, and about 46 Street. I strongly suggest that you go for the buffet if you are new to Indian food. The menu is vast, and the food so tasteful. They make the best naan bread I have ever had. The staff is good about advising you on which dished are spicy, etc. The service is amazing. A great place for a gathering of family or friends, prices are excellent, Buffet for 5 of us with special drinks was around $50.00. That is amazing in this day and age, where prices do nothing but rise. If you like Indian food or are looking for a new experience this is the place to go. -

This is a little cafe, around the corner from Grant McEwan, Jasper Place Campus. 100 ave and 159 street. It is tiny but one of the best places to eat if you like Indian and mediteranean food. They serve the best chai latte, with ground pistachios on top, mm so good. You can order family style or a plated meal. I love to go there just for the Baclava they serve. Service is fast, friendly and overall excellent. Open 7 days a week from 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM. You never feel rushed, can stay and chat, no pressure from the staff. It is quite quiet and just a lovely atmosphere overall. Not fine dining, but good filling food and excellent ambience. -
