Another of Campbell's fine family of soups. Delicious to eat as a bowl of soup and so convenient to add to a casserole as a sauce. 284 ml of decadence. This is definitely a staple in my pantry. Used as a sauce it takes the plain to the exotic, makes all the difference in the world when added to a recipe as a sauce. I wouldn't be without it.
Relatively inexpensive and very convenient. A must have for me. I would recommend this soup to everyone. I find the old favorites so much better than the new and improved versions they make. Keep up the good work Campbell's

I truly believe the help cure the common cold. I always feel so much better after consuming my bowl of chicken noodle soup. Would recommend this soup to everyone out there. It is oh so good.

Still one of the best comfort food on the market. A bit high in the sodium department, but oh so good. Price varies from just under two dollars a can to .50 a can if you are lucky enough to buy it on sale. Regardless of the price this is one of my favorite foods. So easy to prepare, easy to eat and for me reminds me of a mother's love. It makes me feel coddled and taken care of. It brings on thought's of Moms and Grandmothers, just such a reminiscent type of food. As good now as it was 50 or 60 years ago.
I highly recommend it to everyone. A definite meal pleaser.

I had never tried this as a cereal, bought it to make it into a snack mix but never eaten it as a cereal.
Well this morning I wanted something different and had some Rice Chex in the cupboard. Pored myself a bowl, poured on the milk and was quite surprised to find that I really liked it. Good taste and texture, didn't have to add sugar. Gluten free too, which is a big plus.
Do not know how I missed using this as a breakfast cereal, I always have it on hand to make up into the snack recipes on (or in) the box.
I would definitely recommend this cereal and to all you people who have problems with Gluten, I must say try this one it is so good. No sawdust taste like so many of the special Gluten free cereals. Definitely a winner.

I tried Catelli Garden Select Pasta Sauce for the first time tonight. It was amazing! You could taste all the vegetables as if they were freshly cooked. As promised on the label this sauce was thick and smooth and you honestly could taste each of the six individual vegetables that made up this sauce.
The label says no preservatives, low in fat and saturated fat. Only 60 calories per half cup serving, low in sodium, higher in fibre than most sauces. Carbohydrate count was quite reasonable for those who are counting carbs. I was most impressed with the taste, this sauce was the closest to homemade that I have ever had.
This sauce is remarkable and you better believe it will be my sauce of choice from this point on. I would highly recommend it. I cannot remember the exact price but I remember it was reasonable.
You really have to give this sauce a try, it is unbelievable. It rates five stars in my books.

Was checking out the sales so I could go pickup more supplies for SMILE-Edmonton, when I noticed the ad for this new fruit juice, five 200 ml boxes for $.77, WOW. Ad claimed they were all fruit juice, no artificial flavors or colors. Great price, sounded like a very good buy. Because we get anywhere from 200 - 400 homeless to feed on any given night I didn't want to appear greedy so made it to 4 stores to get my 200 juice boxes.
The ad was right, 100% juice, no additives. Finally fruit juice that was affordable. Got home, tried a few of the different flavors and was amazed at what I found. Beautiful, fruity taste, not to sweet and not to tart. What a treat for our guests, (we usually serve them iced tea due to the cost). We do our best to ensure that we give out food and drink that is as nutritious as possible with the resources we have.
Next morning I am on the computer giving the heads up so that the other volunteers can rush out to purchase more of these juices, then my Mom got wind of it and I had to make another juice run myself. Let me tell you we managed to get enough juice for our homeless guests to last for a few Sundays and they loved them.
Now I have to keep checking to see if it comes on sale again. I, myself, prefer this new juice. The flavor seems much more natural, not cloying like some juices I have tried. Big thanks to SunRype for coming up with this excellent product and hope they keep the regular prices low so that we can keep purchasing it for SMILE-Edmonton as well as our own personal use.

Anne Rice is one of my favorite authors. Her Vampire Chronicles are excellent reads, then if you are brave enough give her erotica series a go. You do not hear much about her since the Vampire TV series has become popular but, believe me her novels are so much better. They keep you on the edge of your seat all the while you are reading them, and yet they are touching and sensual at the same time. A very good prolific writer. I would recommend her books to anyone over 18 (they do tend to be more for the mature reader).
I wish she would publish a few new books, I miss her writings.

PC Blue Menu Italian Lasagna is not a bad product and I will purchase it for days when I absolutely do not want to or cannot cook. I was not overly impressed by the meal but the price was right and it was filling. Blue Menu products are supposed to be healthier for you but Not always.
It was a mediocre meal at best, but as I said earlier, priced right.

Bet you've never considered the amount of electrical power you are using. Well I went from incandescent to florescent in 2000, then addded some Halogens in 2005, each move saved me money on power without losing the number of lumens to light the rooms.
Now I am slowly moving to LED light bulbs, starting with the kitchen ceiling ones. I am slowly replacing the hot halogens with LED's. Each 35 watt halogen is being replace with a 4 watt 220 lumens Facto LED. I now have much brighter lights in the fixture since I have fully replaced and am using ( (35 x 3 = 105 w) - (4 x 3= 12 w) saving a total of 101 watts just for 1 light fixture. Next I replace the 5 bulb fixture on the other side of the kitchen etc.
These replacement bulbs from Rona are a pack of 2 for $14.99.
Anyone conscious of the environment and the high use of our energy sources should investigate the move to these new LED bulbs.
I understand that Rona bought out Facto and that is the reason these bulbs are being sold at such a reasonable price.

Having had fresh Gelato in the Italian district in Winnipeg, Manitoba, I was disappointed in this. Bought it thinking that I was really in for a treat, and was so sad when I tasted it. For $6.49 for a 500 ml container (at Safeway), I was shocked that it didn't meet with the standards of the Italian Gelato that I used to eat. Definitely will not buy it again,even as a treat.
I really don't feel comfortable recommending it to anyone, sorry to say. Haagen-Dazs is usually so much better.
