laid off work - so have time to do other things while seeking employment. Have 4 boys who all played hockey and were active in other sports, all who are grown now. My youngest son is getting married at the end of July on a cruise ship. My second son was in a car v moose accident about 5 1/2 years ago. He is now in a wheelchair in an extended care centre. He has been in the hospital 17 times since the accident and in the last 2 years has had 4 operations to try to fix a broken femur that was not part of the accident that was not fixed right about 3 years ago. We are waiting to have another 2 operations at least. Hopefully this will help him to be able to move around more without assistance and/or the wheelchair all the time so we can bring him home and look after him. It is an uphill battle to obtain assistance especially when he is in a wheelchair and has a brain injury but I just keep going, try to be positive and always picture a better life for him as he is only 39 years old. He has lost everything including his wife and child, who moved to PEI about 2 years ago, whom he saved by turning the car so the moose would come on top of him instead of her (she was 4 months pregnant).
