My parents used to buy me this when I was young and I never stopped drinking this since then. This drink is not only convenient on the go but it also have the authentic taste of chrysanthemum tea that Asian typically love. If you don't have time to make the tea yourself, I highly recommend buying this! It is almost equally as good! -

This is my one of my favorite drink of all time. I buy it so often and even more when it is on sale because this drink is not too sour or too sweet for a lemon tea. It just has the right balance in my opinion. I have been drinking this since I was a child and I never got sick of it since then. I highly recommend trying it if you have not yet! -

I finished this book in two days last year. Her TED talk made me cry like a baby and her story really intrigued me to read her book. The author is a North Korean defector and she published this book to inform how she escaped from her home country. Her novel put me in a perspective where I cannot compare her childhood struggle with mine. Some people might be suffering from depression or bullied during their younger years, but Park struggled to LIVE since the very young age. After reading her novel, it made me cherish my life even more due to its simplicity. It also made me be more aware how not a lot of people understand the struggle between North and South Korea after talking to my entourage about it. I definitely felt more cultured and I highly recommend reading this book. A real eye opener! -

I had a bitter experience with the store and will not return there but take my advice if you go there, always double check your bill before leaving that place even if the SA tells you she "couldn't print you a real receipt, only the credit card one." I'm all about supporting local businesses when means allow it but not for taking account for the SA's mistake.

Since I suffer from panda eyes, this Sekkisei eye cream does brighten my eyes while promoting blood circulation with a touch of herbal scent! I only use it at night though because it is in the thicker side of a cream. I'm not going to lie; it is in the expensive but I look at skincare a an investment to age well with time. I also like to store it in the fridge for an extra cooling effect! -

I recently used this “TOP Luxury” mask from CY Lab. I first need to rant about the packaging confusion in terms of description: I understand the fact this mask has zero animal testing but I am very confused in terms of their mask’s key ingredients and target claims. In the back of the mask, there are THREE (not one) kinds of mask descriptions with different claims and ingredients. So my question is, does this mask claims to have one or ALL three benefits/ingredients? As a consumer who actually read labels, I am very disappointed in this mask in terms of labeling. When I looked up online, I realized this mask was actually titled “Triple Hyaluronic Acid Intensive Moisturizing Repairing Mask.” The brand should rethink on their packaging labels before releasing to the market… With that aside, I used this mask even being skeptical due to its multiple puzzling claims (YOLO aka You only live once). The scent is light, so nothing unbearable and it fades away fairly quickly with time. I decided to not leave it longer than 15 minutes as instructed just to be safe. My skin was much hydrated and smooth afterwards, almost achieving the chok chok glow I am always looking for! This mask gave me solid hydration at least, which is important to me. I would not recommend this mask to anyone until they fix their packaging labels to the consumers sadly. I don’t mind looking up for product reviews of this mask, but not for its actual description which normally brands would offer it crystal clear on the package from the start. -

I recently used Aeria Skin’s Rejuvenating and Firming Eye mask that aims to firm, to soothe and to replenish the eye contour. Their eye masks are made with “natural wood pulp,” (Aeria Skin) which “enables maximum moisture and nourishing essence to be absorbed into skin cells deeply” (Aeria Skin). The key ingredients are the following: 1. Peptide 2. Edelweiss and olive extracts’ antioxidants, and 3. White horehound. First, I want to point out that wearing this mask made me feel like I was part of a skincare masquerade due to its shape! Who does not want to join a skincare party session? Childishness aside, I used this mask for approximately 30 minutes instead of 15-20 minutes as recommended by the brand because it still felt very moisturizing past the 20 minutes mark, so I didn’t want to waste the essence! There is indeed a slight scent within the mask but nothing unbearable to me. Afterwards, my eye contour did feel much hydrated but I am not so sure about the claim of “reducing the appearance of fine lines” (Aeria Skin) since I only used it once. However, the brand did state that for optimal results, it is best to use this mask 2-3 times per week so perhaps if you do, the claim would be more apparent versus a onetime usage. -

I recently used this Aeria Skin Hydra Repair mask that aims to replenish, to detoxify and to renew the skin. Their masks are made with “organic cotton sheets that are processed [with zero] harsh chemicals and defoliants” (Aeria Skin). The key ingredients are the following: 1. Peptide 2. Vitamin E 3. Vitamin B3 (aka niacinamide) and 4. Centella asiatica. As someone with sensitive skin, I felt this brand really spoke to my concerns in terms of their selection of ingredients and materials. There is indeed a scent within the mask, but nothing unbearable. After using this mask, I did feel my skin very hydrated and brightened (due to niacinamide). I used this mask after having a slight skin irritation (probably caused by either seasonal transitional change or pollution) because I was hoping would soothe my skin, which it did! I am indeed impressed since it’s a niche brand that not a lot people know. I would definitely recommend this to people who seek hydration and detoxification for their skin!
I also want to point out that the brand also state that “occasional dark spots on the surface of the mask are a natural remnant of the cotton seed,” (Aeria Skin) and not due to expiration. It did not happen to me, but just in case it happens to you.

Saintfengel's Galaxy Purifying Gel masque claims to “intensively purify and minimize pores [as well as to] restore a soft and refined skin complexion." Its active ingredients are composed of 1. bamboo charcoal (that absorbs impurities, toxins and removes free radical) 2. pearl powder (that brightens and softens the skin) 3. tremella fuciformis (that provides moisture retention) 4. allantoin (that acts as an anti-irritant ingredient) and 5. hyaluronic acid (that prevents skin from dehydration).
As I opened the mask jar, I understand why the brand associated the galaxy with the product because it is as if you see the sparking stars in the galaxy within the jar. The mask is a gel consistency texture that feels weightless on the skin. It also has a light scent, but nothing overwhelming for those who are not into fragrances within products. I suggest putting this mask jar in the fridge prior use for an extra cooling effect! After leaving it for fifteen minutes with the help of the spatula (yes the brand included a spatula to prevent contamination), I do see how the mask made my skin softer as well as hydrated, and my pores do seem to be minimized a little bit. After using it a few times, I did not have any reaction towards the mask so I would highly recommend trying this Taiwanese brand for a galactic mask experience!

For me, Leaders is one of the best brands out there for sheet masks. This Amazonian Acai Anti-Pollution mask isn't your typical sheet mask because it is a coconut bio cellulose sheet mask. Although the fit of this mask is bad for my small face shape, I do believe this mask gives great results of hydrating and smoothing my skin after using it. I typically buy my Leaders sheet masks from Korea but I wanted to see the difference between the American and the Korean versions of their products. I noticed that the sheet mask fit is bigger in the American mask, which I don't understand why because it's not because you are in the states that people's face shape are bigger. This is why I gave one less star in the ratings since the fit is a bit too big for me. Will I be repurchasing this? Probably because these masks are more accessible to me than their Korean products. If anyone is looking for a great mask company, I highly recommend this brand because they make amazing affordable quality masks. And no, I do not work for this company. I am just a really big fan of their products. -
