Exploding Kittens is highest backed up boardgame in the history of Kickstarter and the game definitely live up to its hype. This boardgame can be played with kids and adults because it's basically a simple Russian roulette based game. I own both editions of the Exploding Kittens and this Imploding Kittens is an expansion to the game, so you cannot play this without the base game. This expansion adds more excitement to the original game and I highly recommend this to people who want to bond in real life and not through video games. -

This is one of the stores I go to for cards or stationary. Papyrus might market themselves higher end than Hallmark because they craft a lot of stationary by hand especially their cards. However, if you're looking for a special occasion card such as anniversary or wedding, you can definitely count on Papyrus to find a unique one that doesn't give the vibe of a mass produced card. I probably have a stack of Papyrus cards at home ready to send out for any occasions. (Yes I might have a problem of buying cute cards for my entourage.) -

I have bought countless cards and stationary from Hallmark especially during Christmas and Lunar New Year because of their selection. I know this is a dying industry but I truthfully believe a card can brighten a person's mood for any occasion. That's why I keep going back to Hallmark for them. And yes you can find Lunar New Year cards and red envelopes in the store which is surprisingly amazing for an Asian like me. I don't need to go to Chinatown just for them anymore and they have better design and paper quality in my opinion. -

Chuusi is an online cosmetic store based in Vancouver focusing on Asian brands. What I like about them is their wider selection of products compared to Bisou Beauty Bar because they also have Taiwanese brands in their store. Taiwanese beauty isn't hyped as much as Korean or Japanese beauty but I believe many Taiwanese brands are just as good as their competitors such as My Beauty Diary for example. I purchased from them before and I definitely recommend their store especially if you're looking for Taiwanese cosmetics. They reply to customers fairly quickly as well! -

Bisou Beauty Bar is one of my favorite places to shop for Korean cosmetics at affordable prices. This online retailer has a good selection of products and the shop owner, Cindy, curates the products herself in Korea before bringing them accessible to North American customers. She recently also opened a Bisou Beauty Lounge that gives professional nail and eyelashes services. I have been a customer for multiple times from their online store and I definitely recommend this store for their products and speedy customer service! -

I always love shopping in Winners because you never know what kind of bargain you can find in their stores. My best finds were carry-on luggages because I even compared their prices compared to the outlets and Winners definitely had them cheaper!! I tend to look at their cosmetic section most of the time but you need to be careful with their expiration dates. Even though it might be cheaper than their respective retailer stores, you only have one face with no backups so please be careful when you buy cosmetics there! -

Chatime is always my go-to place for a good bubble tea. They don't use powder based to make their drinks and they have a good selection of flavors that will cater everyone's taste. I'm glad this chain is expanding well in Canada because I wouldn't want to miss an opportunity to grab a bubble tea when I travel else where in Canada. My SO and I have one weekly together regularly now. Yes we love boba this much and I highly recommend their classic roasted milk tea for those who loves coffee or their green tea mango bubble tea for mango/green tea lovers out there! -

T&T;is one of my favorite Asian grocery stores to shop for my Asian food needs. You can buy from dry food, drinks, bakery, seafood, cooked food and even Asian cosmetics in this grocery store. It is basically one stop towards Asia with affordable prices. I buy my grocery so often there because they have such a good selection of everything: from sheet masks to BBQ pork. I definitely think most Asians shop there for their food whenever available. T&T;seriously needs to expand nationwide so everyone can access to their selection of Asian products. Loblaws, T&T;'s parent company, if you read this, please make this happen!!! -

I'm a yuge fan of ramen and Santosei is one of my favorite ramen chains in the block. They have big pieces of meat and their thick noodles are to die for!! I always order the classic Tonkatsu ramen from them. If I can eat ramen everyday for a month, I would totally do so but my body wouldn't take it too well. It is definitely an indulging meal for me everytime I eat ramen in Santosei Ramen! They have several locations in Toronto and they recently expanded to Ottawa!! I highly recommend checking this chain out as it is an affordable delicious meal! -

I'm a yuge fan of ramen because honestly, it takes a lot of work to make them. I'm not talking about those instant noodles that you can cook within minutes. My favorite ramen from them is their classic shoyu pork thick ramen because I'm not a fan of thin or chicken in my ramen bowl. I would describe ramen as Asian fast food (equivalent to a McD burger) because the fat in the ramen bowl would be just as much so it's not a diet meal. They currently have several locations in the east coasts and I highly recommend checking them out if you have one nearby you. I believe they also have a vegetarian option for those who are not into meat! -
