Taiwanese beauty isn't as hyped as much as Korean or Japanese beauty but I do believe many Taiwanese brands are just as good as their competitors. My Beauty Diary sheet masks deliver results without over-exaggerating their claims. This hyaluronic acid moisturizing sheet mask hydrates your skin and you are spoiled with so much essence! You can even use the remaining after sheet masking to absorb all the hydration. Don't waste a single drop of that hydrating essence! It is recommended to leave 20-30 minutes but I am guilty of leaving it for a bit longer (about 45 minutes) and it is still moisturizing and not drying! I highly recommend for all skin types who need a boost of hydration.

After reading Marie Kondo's amazing book, I decided to declutter my home by selling the stuff I do not need/use. I have emptied my storage space by selling my old furniture on Kijiji within less than half a year. It's hard to rate this website because there are good and bad buyers but overall, my experience has been good. I know how to filter serious and non serious buyers now so I can avoid from being scammed. One advice I would give if you want to sell your stuff in this kind of market: always ask for their phone number just to make sure they aren't fake and you can reach them back if anything happens. You might be surprised how many people can be interested in your stuff but not enough to come and buy them. -

Before I discovered the existence of a sleeping lip mask, I use this Uriage lipbalm before I go to bed because it doesn't have SPF and it hydrates my lips well. It leaves my lips soft and ready for the next day. I picked this up because it was highly rated in Korea and I do not regret having this next to my bed. I still use this alternatively with my Laneige sleeping lip mask because I get lazy sometimes. I highly recommend this especially to those who want smooth lips overnight without breaking the bank! -

I had a skin allergy reaction two years ago and this product really saved my dryness and redness from my skin. I used this serum in conjunction of the same line's cream and oil to lock in the moisture on my skin. Now that I no longer have this skin allergy reaction, I use this as my moisturizer now because I tend to break out with thick creams recently. This serum, or for my case lotion, helps my skin stay hydrated without adding weight on my skin. It might be pricy from Sephora but you get so much product and a little go a long way! If you're on a budget but still want to try this product, you can buy this from online kbeauty sellers.

I love mixing oil with my moisturizer because I feel it gives my skin more moisture and locks it in well. Plus it gives me a glow without using a highlighter. Dr Jart ceramidin line is one of my holy grail skincare products because the ceramidin ingredient really soothe all skin dryness and even redness. When I had a skin allergy reaction two years ago, Dr Jart ceramidin liquid, cream and oil helped me go through both the red and dry patches. Within less than a month, my skin was glowing and hydrated again. I highly recommend this product for those who are dry skin!
You can also use this on your body and hair as well if you have dryness in those areas!

Jolse used to be my go-to online store for Asian cosmetics because they had free shipping if you buy in bulk and they have better price point compare to Sephora or Canadian local sellers. However, they recently started using DHL for Canadian customers from now on and this really kills the deal for me. Normally I could avoid buying in bulk by purchasing from their Amazon store front and they even include free shipping! Now, one item (no matter how much it is) requires $29 shipping fees and this does not include DHL fees and duty fees. I know Canada Post isn't the best postal services in the world but DHL isn't the best either. One less star for Jolse because of this shipping factor. Otherwise it is a great store with great customer service! -

I wanted to try this for a long time after reading reviews that this is a dupe of the holy grail SK-II first treatment essence. I bought a full bottle of it thinking my skin can take the fermented essence but I was wrong. This essence gave me cc and I regret not patch testing before committing to a full bottle. Skincare is such a personal process and I highly recommend patch testing before jumping on hyped products. This didn't work for me but it could work for you and other people.

When I first got into Asian beauty cosmetics, I honestly thought the Face Shop is a great place to start. Little did I know about ingredients back then, I compulsively bought a bunch of these Real Nature sheet masks to try out the sheet mask trend. Other than giving mediocre moisture to your skin, I do not think these masks are even worth your money because of their high alcohol content. Some masks smell alcohol more than others but the ingredient is still there in the top of their list. If you are looking for budget sheet masks, there are many other brands out there that make quality sheet masks which will not break your bank: Leaders, Mediheal, Aritaum, Tony Moly etc just to name a few. -
