Before discovering the Muji gel pens, I buy these Pilot G-Tec-C rolling ball gel pens because you can just get them from Amazon with no fuss. My preferred tip is 0.38 but they have 0.4 tip in this line instead which is good enough for me. I really like how the ink goes on paper but the only complaint I have about these pens is that they don't have refills for the pens compared to Muji pens. I would have to buy new pens from Pilot instead of re-using my pen shelves, which is not very ecological in long term. If Pilot sells refills for these gel pens, I will definitely give 5 stars to them. -

I'm the type of person who still write cards for all sorts of occasions for my entourage and I definitely want nice and neat handwriting on my work. My favorite tip from the line is 0.38 because of its smoothness and fineness. These gel pens are great for school, for work and even for doodling! The best part is, you don't need to buy new pens once you are done with them. You can buy REFILLS instead, which is way more ecological that way and better for your bank account. Japanese innovation never cease to impress me because think about it, what are the odds your pen is broken? Unless your car stepped on it or your dog chew on it, the odds are pretty low. People tend to throw the pens once the ink is gone but the core component is definitely reusable for ink replacement. I highly highly highly recommend these pens! -

They are my go-to cotton pads because they are soft and affordable. I'm pretty sure I have gone through multiple packs of these last year and I still use them. I use them in conjunction with my toner or essence. The only complain I have about them is that they do ball up if you soak too much liquid on them. I'm still looking for a good cotton pad that does not ball up like the Muji ones but equal or better softness. If you have any recommendations of such product, please send them to me! -

I needed a sunscreen on the spot when I was traveling with my SO and apparently, the Face Shop SA recommended him to buy this sunscreen for me. Let me tell you straight up that this was one of the worst sunscreens I ever used because this is a fragrance sunscreen (not from essential oils or anything) and because of their ingredient list. I'm not going to talk one by one their ingredient list but one that you should know about is 4-Methylbenzylidene Camphor, which is not an approved UV filter for sunscreen. According to EWG's Skin Deep cosmetics database, there are European researches that recommend the chemical not be used in sunscreen. I think The Face Shop might have removed this from their products but in case if they did not, please do not buy this and opt for other sunscreen alternatives. -

I absolutely love Angelina Paris sweets and tea. They make timeless sweets and drinks that caters many sweet tooth fans out there! There is always a lineup in their Paris cafe locations so when my friend invited me over her place to have their classic hot chocolate at her place, I was amazed that the taste is still consistent compared to their cafe ones. I find they make great gifts especially for tourists. If you're a fan of chocolate, I highly recommend trying this drink if you're in town! -

I'm a big fan of DIY masks because I know what goes in those masks from the very beginning. These muji face lotion sheets are basically dry sheet mask caps. You can soak them with any kind of essence or liquid. Afterwards, you can spread it out and you will notice it is just like a sheet mask you buy from the counter. I like to pour chilled green tea and rice water in them to hydrate and brighten my skin. I definitely recommend to anyone who likes to sheet mask with natural ingredients. -

This is one of my favorite facial cleansers because 1. It is not drying to my skin and 2. It does not foam. Foaming cleansers tend to dry my skin so I avoid them. I'm not very picky in my cleansers as long they cleanse my skin from pollution, makeup, sunscreen etc. However, they must be low ph not heavily fragranced and preferably with more natural ingredients. Also, Youth to the People make small batches of 100% vegan products. So you know their products don't sit down in the shelves for a long time and they have expiration dates under their packaging. -

I have tried low end and middle end bubble bath products but I always go back to Dr Teal's foaming bath products because they actually give you lots of bubbles. The one from L'Occitane is a nice treat but I have to pour twice the amount of Dr Teal's amount to have a satisfying bubble bath. I honestly think this is really good value for your buck because you get 1L of product. I definitely recommend this for any bubble bath lovers! Dr Teal also have other scents that I am looking forward to try as well. They recently launched a new avocado bubble bath if my memory is correct. -

If you're getting tired of eating the same seasoning in your steak, I got the solution for you. This Toronto steak house make one of the best steak seasoning spice I ever eaten in my life. Even if you poured a lot of it, it does not get saltier as the, for example, Montreal steak spice would. I even tried this on grilled asparagus and it is surprisingly delicious as well! I believe this is a good change from peppery steaks and I definitely recommend getting a bottle of it or even trying their restaurant if you're in town. You will thank me later if your guests fall in love your steak when you cook them dinner with this seasoning! I even bought 4 bottles for my friends recently! -

This Laneige lip sleeping mask keeps your lips hydrating at night and when you wake up, your soft baby lips are ready to conquer the world with a lipstick/tinted lipbalm or even without anything! I buy mine from Aritaum but if there is no such store near you, you can always buy it in Sephora or online. If you're looking for something similar but on a budget, I suggest checking the Aritaum version of this especially for people with cracking dry lips! -
