It has a nice scent, I can see it feeling refreshing for people especially in the summer and I like the idea of Aloe, Herbs and Rose but honestly I don’t feel like it’s anything special… I wouldn’t buy it (was given this one) I have an almost full bottle that I will offer my mom in case she enjoys it.
Honestly I love the Caudelie Beauty Elixir and would much recommend that one over this one.
I know it’s been kinda viral and if this works for you - that’s awesome, just didn’t find it did much for me.
I would potentially haven taken it for travel to refresh on flights but at 59ml just over the limit for that (unless you are allowed to bring it even if the packaging amount is over but the amount in the bottle is less/below?)

I love that this product seems to work for a lot of people and has a high star review. I honestly personally don’t feel like I noticed any difference at all (but reading the reviews before posting mine, kinda makes me wanna buy another bottle since the price point for The Ordinary is always so low/good)
It’s watery texture and applies well enough (I don’t think it makes hair greasy or anything) but also in my one bottle run, nothing to write home about… No dramatic results noticed or any difference I can speak of at any rate

I honestly primarily bought if for that so am super bummed that it’s been changed (unless I had a different product from the brand; but I don’t believe so…) I would hate to think I got an unauthentic product? Bought from CHATTERS online in Canada. I will contact them and will have to go though my stash of old (small travel) bottles that I refill for trips of my favs to see the exact name and compare…
The performance of CHI is always great and up to its standard so that’s good but I was really after that scent I ADORED - I got so many compliments on the fragrance when I wore it and am seriously disappointed :(

I bought one on clearance at shoppers (down from $108 to $54) on a whim and my previous favourite from last summer was the Clarins Dry-Touch SPF 50 (which I still love as well) but with the retinol for skin firming this is definitely going to be my everyday (when I just go out bare-faced) sunscreen this summer! I just put in my order for my second one and definitely recommend it :) I am always bothered by that sunscreen coating feeling on my face by other brands - that neither the Clarins nor the Strivectin leave on my face (you can feel it slightly you touch your face - but it’s doesn’t leave that heavy/oily feeling) so super happy with this one! It’s definitely more pricey at $115CAD than the Clarins (at $36 that I also get at shoppers) but also definitely worth it for me! -

I picked up the trial size from Shoppers Drugmart for around $3 to give it a try.
Packaging: it’s cute and it did draw me in.
Scent - Far too strong for me, it’s a mentholated fragrance and I felt that was more to support the “charcoal” claim and make it more effective.
Product Appearance: It’s grey/black in colour with some grainy texture type beads or dots and kind of gel like; but to be honest I feel like this is a jump on the charcoal bandwagon trend.
Efficacy: It cleans my face but the menthol is so strong (and I do NOT have sensitive skin and look for powerful products) and definitely not fun if you get it in your eyes by accident!
It’s intended for oily skin (and oil-free) admittedly I have dry skin (I didn’t see the small print about oily skin when I bought it online lol) but even then, the overpowering scent and too strong feeling on my face/when water washed some over my face into my eyes in the shower had them stinging and overrode any benefit for me.
Overall: I would not buy this again and don’t recommend it (I think there are much better products out there)

I received this complimentary from the Face Shop (here in Canada) so I can’t speak to price. It’s a cute little bottle :) Lovely handsoap. I like the coriander scent and olive oil for protection/not stripping my hands.
I think if you are a person for whom coriander/cilantro tastes like soap this might not be for you, otherwise I absolutely recommend it and makes a great gift! Unique and makes me think of Italy, I would love to receive it as a hostess present or in a Christmas stocking!

Thank you to ChickAdvisor for the beautiful bouquet of truffles!!
I love that they are a small business local to my hometown of Waterloo - actually just up the street I grew up on! I had been wanting to try/support them for awhile now just not gotten around to it so this was a lovely and delicious surprise :)
They are a smooth chocolate with a variety of different fillings. I love the flavour guide by colour so you know which one is which - always such a helpful and appreciated attention to detail.
I would say they are on par in quality to Lindt and individually wrapped like Lindors which is so nice for gift giving or to slip someone a little treat.
I would definitely recommend them!!

I received this FaceShop set as a gift from a friend so I’m not sure how much it costs.
It contains
1. First Serum
2. Revitalizing Toner
3. Revitalizing Emulsion
I discovered this works best on wet skin so after washing my face or dampening my skin I apply these products in that order (waiting a few seconds in between to let them absorb/dry)
I wasn’t expecting much to be honest but gave it a go since I like trying new skincare and it blew me away!! My skin is left plumped (any Baby fine lines that want to creep up are disappeared) and my face/neck feel moisturized, soothed and nourished. I tend to drier skin but I could see this being good for folks with oiler skin as the first two are watery liquids and the last a light lotion (and not at all rich or heavy creams that I usually gravitate towards).
I love the packaging - anything sparkly makes me happy and it’s pretty with the universe design. The sizes actually would make it great for travel; small enough to pack and yet this kit has lasted me several weeks (way longer than I expected at first glance) since a little goes a long way!
I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this and will definitely get it again.

Review is based on a one time sample packet from #Sephora and I have to say this sample had so little in it I couldn’t even do a full face :( As much as I appreciate a #complimentary trial this doesn’t do it for me… it’s hard to provide a proper fair review but I will do my best - the only thing I noticed was the texture it was like Smashbox’s Photo Finish Primer - that silicone feeling, so it smoothes but not sure I loved that. I had a sample of the primer and gave it to a friend to try and she loved it! She said it she loved how it made her skin look and would wear the primer by itself (she is not a big makeup person) so if you are like that, this might be the perfect merging of moisturizer and primer? Or save you a step in your routine if you use both? It does have #HylauronicAcid so perhaps if it’s a good price; might be a good deal/product if you like that. Nothing significant or noteworthy from me for this so gave it 2 stars. #Skincare #Beauty -

I purchased this at Fiddleheads in Canada - after asking staff for a Gluten-Free recommendation for what would be closest to white bread (I have discovered and love the O’Doughs original bagels from this shop) First time trying it I made a grilled cheese with it (perhaps not the best way to eat it?) I had high hopes as it definitely looked like white bread but it was awful - zero flavour and the texture felt like I was eating styrofoam :(
I would NOT recommend this product (maybe others from this brand are good) personally will never buy this particular one again. I would be willing to try other items (if it was a free sample or sent a coupon to redeem for a free item) but I wouldn’t risk purchasing something from this brand again, until I did so and it’s so disappointing when GF bread is so expensive (about $7) and then not to be able to it, I won’t even be able to eat the rest of this loaf (and I hate food waste)
