Found this kicking round, I must have gotten it as a gift (so I can’t speak to price) but just finished my Burt's Bees Ultra Conditioning Lip Balm with Kokum Butter (which is a solid product I rated 4 stars in my review and guessing around the same drugstore price point) I like the packaging but I found it weird, unfortunately did nothing to moisturize my lips and was an odd texture sensation on my lips. I won’t continue using it and don’t recommend - if you are looking for a new lip balm I would say go for the Burt’s Bees Ultra #Lipcare #Skincare #BeautyJunkie -

I received this as part of a gift set so I can’t speak to price. The scent is really lovely, why I gave it 3 stars instead of just 2. It’s jelly like embedded with texture (I assume to exfoliate) I used it with a bristle brush for body brushing and unfortunately I found it didn’t really do that and since that’s the purpose, I can’t say it’s very effective (compared to my fav Arbonne Awaken Sea Salt Scrub) which is unfortunate as I really enjoyed the fragrance :( I do quite like the bar soap from this line which is the other product I have tried so far. I should note I have hardier skin, so perhaps this would be a good level of exfoliation and yet still gentle enough for those with sensitive skin? I won’t be purchasing this product again myself but would use it if someone gave it to me. #Skincare #Beauty #BeautyJunkie -

Got this #sample sachet from #Sephora with an online order and see it as $64CAD there, which I would spend on this. First note: I liked there was enough in the packet to do my face, neck and décolleté which is important to me and a pet peeve when the packet is tiny and not enough. This review is based on a one time use, but based on that I really like this moisturizer! It doesn’t give me #CleanBeauty vibes (and not sure about the ingredients) but a feels little more Barbie gimmicky? I am a girl who likes anything pink and sparkly :) I truly liked the nude glow shade which made me smile and was perfect for my skin tone (and I like it comes in three shades to cover all girls) and as you can see from the pics it has a lovely light illuminating silky sheen. The scent is a little candy-like in a nostalgic way :) It is a little bit thicker (which I usually like in a moisturizer) and not sticky but maybe a little bit tacky? It does absorb well; from a #Beauty perspective it provides a gorgeous natural glowy look (I would almost compare it to Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter that I just got in shade 3) and my face feels moisturized and protected this morning. I feel like I could use this alone as a tinted moisturizer and go, especially in summer! I usually mix my foundation with a little moisturizer and highlighter liquid before applying with this I feel like I could replace two products with this one in that routine which is always a bonus. I just loaded up on #skincare sets with the #Rouge sale (in my separate haul pic and will review those as I go) but have hearted and saved this one in the app and will definitely buy a full-size one in the future to give it a real go - I would excitedly tell my friends about it and show it to them in-store so I would say I recommend it :) #Skincare #Beauty #Junkie -

This is my favourite dish soap for hand washing dishes as well as general cleaning (diluted with water) I have of course tried other brands Palmolive Sunlight etc. but I find I always come back to this one for the quality - the original one (that I also think is adorable and love that it’s used to clean off the industrial oil spills on baby ducks :) It really is the standard for a reason! I find lasts the longest since I use less per wash, cleans beautifully, has a good scent, not hard on the hands and when on sale for about $2-3CAD is a very reasonable price! Something you can trust and can on. #Home #Cleaning -

I was more than pleasantly surprised by this product! I purchased this IT Cosmetics kit from Sephora during their recent #Rouge sale for 20% off, so it was a $121 value for $55CAD with the discount, and it’s actually cheaper than the IT Cosmetics Confidence in a Cream Moisturizer (at $63 CAD) alone and there a full size one in this set which is amazing! Can’t beat that! This was the only box of the all the ones (Caudalie Vinopure Clean Pores Routine, one from Fresh and the Biossance Your Clean Routine-Overachievers Kit - which I will #review as I go through them) that I purchased to try that contained a full-size product! To be honest I bought this to try the IT Cosmetics Confidence in an Eye Cream #moisturizer (as it was one of two recommended to me in the store, the other being belif Moisturizing Eye Bomb which I have already tried in full-size) so it was a delightful bonus that I LOVE this #cleanser!!! At first I wasn’t so fussed for the packaging of the products, looked more practical than pretty, but turns out I really like the buttery warm colour of the tube, it’s comforting somehow - I was kinda expecting the cleanser to be a creamy opaque almost cream in a colour matching the packaging, as you can see in the pic it’s more white and a little translucent, but still rich and luxurious. It is so perfect for a #Canadian winter - it absolutely cleans off my makeup and leaves me feeling fresh without stripping it at all, in fact leaves my face feeling moisturized and plump ;) I have stumbled across a gem in this cleanser and it is definitely one I would go out and specifically buy (16/$37 for the mini and full size). I highly recommend this product (and all the items in the #Confidence line) I will be buying this set again next year for sure, maybe more than one #WinterSkincare #Skincare #Beauty #Junkie -

This is my favourite and the only brand of beef jerky I like! I bought it on sale several times (that’s why I tried it) and loved it, it’s a little expensive full price (the only reason I didn’t give it a full 5 stars). The reason I love it is obviously the taste!! It’s flavourful and doesn’t have any of the weird (after) taste other brands do. I don’t eat pork and since most have a mix that includes pork this is one of the only brands I can eat. Additionally the packaging appeals to me, I know it’s a little silly but it feels a tad more girly and indicates the higher quality of this brand. I highly recommend it (when it’s on sale) I would buy it all the time for the protein with low carbs if it was! #Snacks -

Level up your PB&J;- if you are a grape jelly in yours kinda person. I used to be a Welch's Natural Concord Grape Spread only girl but after trying Crofters (love the strawberry for toast and have given it 5 stars as well) it’s gotta be Crofter’s! Up your PB&J;game with this quality product - organic, non-GMO and with less sugar/calories than standard spreads but more flavour and at about $4 it’s a clear winner. (After I tried this and then went back to Welch’s it just tasted sugary and diluted/weak grape flavour) The Crofter’s tastes rich and and is a stand out! I also like supporting smaller companies and additionally this is a #Canadian brand :) plus the jars are handy when done and washed out for spices and such. I highly recommend it and if you have never tried it, tread yourself and give it a go! #Jelly #Jam #Spread #Snacks -

I bought this set specifically to try this eye cream. I picked it up at Sephora during their recent #Rouge sale for 20% off so $121 value for about $54CAD (before taxes) which is a fantastic deal!! (and comes with a full-size IT Cosmetics Confidence in a Cream Moisturizer which alone is $63) I previously asked for eye cream recommendations in-store and belif Moisturizing Eye Bomb and this were the ones suggested to me. I bought and finished the eye bomb - I know people love it and rave about it but for me I would give it 3 stars it was gel style so if you like that or maybe for summer? I tend to dry skin so prefer a rich cream and wouldn’t buy the eye bomb again) This is that rich cream that I like and worked wonders for my under eye! There is a light almost imperceptible scent, if that is a concern. This one was interesting as in this kit it had a pop-off top vs. a screw top like the other two; doesn’t make a difference for performance just caught my attention and I also noted the formulated in conjunction with plastic surgeons on this lid - which is perhaps why it’s such a wonderful product. I don’t think it’s a clean product if that’s critical to you but from an ingredients perspective it’s got some magic! I usually go between Lancôme and Biotherm from Shoppers Drug Mart (depending on promos :) but I wasn’t loyal to any one eye cream - at $50 this is going to be the one I revisit and keep as my regular eye cream. If you are looking for a high performance new eye cream, definitely put this on your list of contenders and I hope you like it as much as I do! #WinterSkincare #Skincare #Beauty #Junkie -

You will never go back!! This is not only my favourite but my only jam/jelly brand now!! I get this one (and the grape) from the “healthy/organic” food section of the grocery store (believe Walmart also sells it) Once I tried this and then here and there have had the standard brands I used to buy before, there was no comparison! The previous brands just tasted like sugar, flavourless and cheap. Once you go Crofter’s you never go back! :) It’s about $4 a jar which is more than reasonable for the quality: organic, non-GMO and actually less calories/sugar than others for better flavour - how can you lose?! I eat this on toast (nowadays on dimpflmeier prebiotic or Rudolph’s Bavarian) with a little butter along with my happy morning cup of tea :) I also like the glass jars in which it comes can be washed and used to store spices and stuff. I also like supporting smaller companies and in this case a #Canadian brand. This is a standout product that I think you will love!! #Spreads #Jam #Breakfast #FavoriteFoods -
