These are my fav #Makeup sponges! This 3-pack of mini blending sponges from #Quo at #Shoppers Drugmart for $10 are perfect for me. Maybe because my face and hands are smaller i I find these work the best to apply my foundation and blend #concealer. I tried the official $30 #BeautyBlender from #Sephora but had to return it as it was too big and unwieldy for me. These are the ones I recommend - use less product so less waste and last forever so at 1/10th of the cost per sponge - amazing value for a solid product! -

I alternate between a few different brands of drops, depending what’s on sale at #Shoppers DrugMart for my #Optimum points :) I had #Lasik a few years ago so I use them daily, just a drop in the morning when I get up to take care of my eyes. This is one of my go-to brands, I first tried it when I got a #sample and really liked how clean and simple they felt in my eyes! They are cooling and soothing. Just finished a bottle of TheraTears today (which I also like and would recommend) and cracked this one open today so thought I would do a review :) Personally, I am not a fan of #Visine brand drops and wouldn’t recommend them, always feel thick or burny or just aware of them and uncomfortable in my #Eyes, they are cheaper and for #eyedrops I definitely think it’s a case of you get what you pay for... I recommend Tears Naturale II and investing just a few dollars more for a higher quality product like this one. #Eyecare -

This is the only dental floss I buy! I usually wait until it’s on sale at Shoppers Drug Mart for my #optimum points and then stock up on a few. I find it feels the most comfortable being the satin tape, and also works the best. I have permanent retainers glued to the inside of my front top and bottom teeth and have to use to a floss threader and find this one doesn’t catch at all. I also feel like it’s gentler on the gums. For about $4 each I find them a worthwhile investment (to help ensure I actually floss :) for my teeth. I may switch up toothpastes, but I only ever buy this floss. I highly recommend trying this specific one from Oral-B if you haven’t - Its the best!! #OralCare -

I so miss this trio from LORAC!!!! It was one of the first things I ever bought at #Sephora when it first came to #Canada. Truth be told; I was intimidated by the store initially - a girlfriend took me by the hand and was my introduction to that whole new world that opened up :) She showed me a #Lorac #Eyeshadow and said “Feel this! It goes on like butter” and was she ever right! I bought a few of these and so glad I did since Sephora no longer carries the Lorac brand and Lorac no longer makes this item :( I am on my last one and wish they would do another run of this little palette that is perfect to do my entire eye, for day (even with the subtle shimmer) or evening, I just go a little heavier handed and top it off with a little black liquid #eyeliner. I don’t recall how much they were at the time, but feel like it was a reasonable and since I actually use all three colours a super good deal for me. It’s size makes it perfect for travel and I SO wish they would bring this back, even as a limited edition and I would stock up with at least 3, maybe 5 lol Anyways I know I can’t recommend you got out and buy this since it’s not available, but I do like the brand and their eyeshadows for how smooth they apply and long they stay (my face tends to eat makeup) so if you find colours that work for you or a palette you like (as long as they haven’t changed formulas since I bought mine) I can confidently say they are good quality and you will like them! #Makeup #Beauty #Junkie -

I know sheet face masks are all the rage these days or at least seem to be the new standard but I am personally not a huge fan of the concept - they never seem to fit my face right, I don’t know I just don’t like them much and probably wouldn’t buy one (I am more a clay or even paint on charcoal mask kinda girl, that being said I have pretty hardy, normal to dry skin, if you have sensitive skin I could see these maybe working for you or even being the best option) This particular one was a gift, so I can’t speak to price and the first The Face Shop product I have tried. The packaging was attractive and one cool thing was the mask was folded onto a separate cutout of the same shape so much easier to handle and unfold which I thought was a nice touch and attention to detail. The mask itself felt cold on my face (which I don’t like; I hate cold lol) so not for me; but if you are always hot or like cooling products could be great for you. I didn’t notice any scent either way, it was a thicker serum and I left it on for about 20mins (after washing my face) and it wasn’t fully dry but I did feel some tightening and tingling happening as I wore it. This mask actually fit better than most as I have a smaller face and most cutouts aren’t spaced right and the masks a touch too big, perhaps catering to the Asian market if we have smaller faces on average? I have no idea but that was good, except surprisingly the eye and mouth holes were a bit small for me, (I will NEVER post a pic of myself in a sheet mask lol sorry) just keep that in mind please if you like a little roomier cutout. I felt like it did have some benefit add some hydration but nothing spectacular or outstanding... If someone gifted me another I would use it, but not something I would go out and spend my money on and buy myself. #Beauty #Skincare #Junkie -

The absolute BEST at home hot chocolate!!! This is my fav and since discovering it the only hot chocolate I can drink :) I have been buying it for a few years now - found it in the #health #natural food section of the grocery store #Zehrs Loblaws here in #Canada. It’s a decadent luxurious hot cocoa - I make it in milk (warm it a cup on the stove add a huge heaping spoon, which is still a little less than the 3-4TBSP they recommend and stir to combine) sometimes I add a few drops of mint extract to my mug before pour in the finished drink for a wonderful mint hot chocolate; am sure mini marshmallows would be awesome and if I make hot chocolate bombs this is the brand of hot chocolate powder I would use. It’s high quality hence its rich deliciousness (doesn’t taste like cheap filler hot cocoa which after this carnation and the rest do to me now) It’s #FairTrade and #Organic which is my preference when possible and it’s also #GlutenFree. There is a dark chocolate variety as well if that’s your jam. On sale it’s $5CAD which is more than worth the price! I highly highly highly recommend this product - you won’t regret it! Just brings up tobogganing, skiing, skating at the holidays (when we can) and topping it off with the perfect cup of hot cocoa even better if cozy by a fireplace :) -

Don’t think I need to review too much - solid store for basics and the occasional trend piece at a reasonable price. Just picked up this army green chunky loose weave sweater for $16.99CAD (originally 39.99) love to score a sale and good deal! 55% cotton (rest acrylic) I prefer all natural fibres and got a bunch of sundresses last spring that were 100% cotton. In #Canada they also carry Eco Living Friendly Elfbrands which was a little harder to find. I think pretty much everyone has been to an Old Navy in North America - and it’s because they carry a wide variety of clothing at reasonable prices (esp if you are a student) for the entire family - kids; men; women; #workout even #shoes and accessories. #Fashion #Makeup #Skincare #Junkie #Shopaholic -
