This is my fav mouthwash! I was so happy when they introduced it to the market - all the benefits of a mouthwash but without being so crazy intense (that it puckered the inside of my mouth as most of the options do, so I couldn’t even use them unless I diluted them with water, which I always assumed reduced the efficacy). The fact that it’s alcohol-free is great, making it an option for those who avoid alcohol. Silly but I also like the pretty light purple colour and #Listerine is a brand name I trust. I definitely recommend it and if like me you are sensitive to mouthwashes give this one a go if you haven’t! #OralCare -

I really like this #Arbonne product (the only reason I gave it four stars instead of 5 is the texture and scent. They are not bad but I don’t love them however the product more than makes up for those two small things). I am a believer in applying product to my neck and décolleté (as well as face) so tried this - its thick and I find it rich and effective, feels very nourishing and plumping. I would definitely recommend and buy again. #Skincare #Beauty -

I used to buy this facial scrub pad from #BodyShop awhile back that I loved! Not sure if they discontinued it or what... Saw these and thought, well hoped, they would be similar if not the same as the ones I used to buy. I feel like these were $6CAD per pack of 3, but I can’t find them on the side at the moment. Unfortunately for me, these were not them, I just don’t like them. They swell up too much and then became awkward to use. Most importantly they don’t feel like they are actually doing anything (exfoliating or providing a deeper clean when used with a cleanser/facewash) for my face. I was sorely disappointed and wouldn’t buy them again (in fact am going to give away the remaining 5 and not even finish what I bought). I personally don’t recommend these. #Skincare #Beauty -

I picked this up as I needed some extra Biotherm product/dollars for the bonus #Optimum points offer from #Shoppers, it was during the #BlackFriday bonus redemption so got it free in the end, normally priced at $35CAD. I am a sucker for anything pink, so I’ll be honest and say that was a big part of why it caught my eye and why I bought it, I don’t know why I was disappointed the product didn’t have a light pink hue lol but it’s just the bottle. I didn’t notice if there was any scent or not, perhaps because it’s in a pump bottle and not open pot product. The AquaGlow itself, I would consider this a lotion serum. I apply it, wait for it to absorb and then apply a moisturizer overtop, but I tend to drier skin. I feel like it’s relatively lightweight and absorbs well, I could see someone using this in summer or alone at night to allow the plankton & vitamin complex to do it’s thing. That was the other draw that had me pick it up; I like anything with vitamin C for my skin (I believe in taking vitamin C orally for my skin as well as applying it topically - from both the inside and outside :) it’s meant to hydrate, even out the look of your skin and make you luminous - I would agree it does make me feel like my skin glows when I apply it which I like. I would recommend this product and though I probably won’t specifically go out and buy it, I could definitely see myself adding it to an order when there is another promo that requires a certain amount purchase for points! #Skincare #Beauty -

I just finished my Stash brand box of mint #tea and thought I would give this a go since the only ingredient was peppermint leaves, but not all mint teas are created equal! This one doesn’t taste as good; makes fewer cups of tea per bag and worst bit for me is it leaves a lot more residue in the bottom of my mug. I would not recommend this brand for mint tea and I will most definitely not buy it again for myself. The savings of a few cents to a dollar or two is not worth it, in this case brand does matter. -

I really liked this soap I received in a gift set. It has a lovely scent, feels like it cleans my skin without stripping it too much (thanks to the argan oil) and I like that The Body Shop is moving towards being more #clean #Beauty in their products. It’s a little pricer than drugstore soap at $6CAD a bar, but I would buy this on my own. #Skincare -

I am not a green #tea girl, so when I am trying to be good reach for mint 🌱 This is a brand I would buy over and over with confidence. It’s a reasonable price and organic; I like each tea bag is individually wrapped (not so green I know, so not for home) but to have one in my purse or whatever. I also like the flavour is more smooth and not such a sharp peppermint! Admittedly, I like my tea weaker, from the previous note, but I can use one teabag all day; each time I boil water I pull it out when the colour/strength is to my liking and just put it in a little bowl and reuse - I can easily get 4-5 cups out of one bag (and it’s not super weak, just not crazy strong steeped) I would absolutely recommend this brand (and typpe) I see Mint Mojito and Moroccan Mint online as well, will have to keep my eyes open to see if we have these in #Canada, would like to give them a try too! -

I purchased this from #Amazon for my #Saje #Canada #EssentialOils collection that I use daily with my #Muji Diffuser. Two for $25 (I only need one so would have been happy with one for $12.50 :) the wooden and construction are just as I expected based on the photos and I am loving having all of my oils organized, displayed and easy to access! I really liked that it’s stepped so one row is slightly above the other for aesthetics and to be able to see them better. Absolutely recommend this product! -

I grew up on Tims! One of my memories is my dad letting me skip school to go on a field trip with his class (when as a teacher he was taking his class on one) early early morning we would go through the Tims Drive-Thru and he would get a #Coffee black 2 sugars and a Blueberry muffin and I would get a hot chocolate for the ride💞 I know it’s not perfect (bagels are usually under or over-toasted and not everyone loves their coffee) but for me it’s an iconic institution - a symbol of being Canadian 🇨🇦 and #Canada - my mom once asked me what if I fell in love with and married someone who lived in a country where Tims doesn’t exist? 😳 I am still a devoteed Tims girls and always will be - for me it’s the coffee something about the flavour no one else can recreate just the way I like it with cream and sugar; you can count on it being fairly standardized no matter which location you to go and the price is right! (I do lattes at Starbucks occasionally and obvs big price difference) On a road trip it’s comfort and tradition and on a daily basis it’s a ritual and moment of happiness - coffee, food, fav thing TV/Movie and it’s my “Party for One”😊 esp on a bad or lonely day. I absolutely love and will always recommend Tims, esp when out with friends often a go-to for a lot of us! When Tims opened its first location in the Middle East this cartoon was in the paper and it’s still probably the one cartoon I remember and an all-time fav so I will leave you with this - 😂 -
