Yum!! Well if you are the half the world who loves Cilantro😄 if you are like my guy and it’s tastes like soap to you; this product is NOT for you! I got the giant bag at #Costco for $16CAD I believe, for the size it’s a good value. Taste wise I love them! Flavourful, fresh and light. Convenient - cook up in 5 mins, perfect for a quick snack with some protein straight from the freezer (and handy during quarantine to keep on hand with the resealable zipper bag) I will be buying them again and definitely recommend them! #Foodie -

My tube Nip Fab Bust Fix Body Cream - I picked up mine for around $5 at Shoppers Drug Mart when they had a whole whack of Nip+Fab products on clearance (looked like they were eliminating the brand entirely from their line up maybe) so I bought a bunch of different things to try out and don’t expect that is the normal price point. My rule is to finish the entire product before I do my review to make sure I am giving it as fair a shot as possible. This product was more like a creamy gel consistency with a little sheen to it, I think I had been expecting a cream so was a little unsure and didn’t love the fragrance a little alchol-y or chemically or something but dissipated pretty quickly so wasn’t a big deal. Now for the most important part the function or performance! Now of course I don’t expect miracles from a product like this (I was checking reviews on Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream and everyone kept saying how it the scent is fantastic and it’s sooo moisturizing - for like $60 at Sephora I want to know if it has any effect!! LoL I have not tried that, or at least not yet, as I didn’t get any info ) it’s to be used twice a day (like my Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula With Vitamin E Q10 Firming Butter Body Lotion which is the only thing I have to which to compare it) I would say there is some difference in the skin texture and maybe slightly plumping? So yes some positive effect! I don’t think I would go and hunt it out to buy it again, which is my usual litmus test, I would just use the Palmers for my entire body for simplicity’s sake so only 1 product instead of 2. However if I didn’t have Palmer’s? Hmmm if it was $5 then yes maybe I would, and would say if you see it or want to give it a go! #Skincare #Beauty -

I just finished the pot - my rule is I have to finish the product before I write the review to give it proper chance! I got this from Shoppers Drug Mart It’s listed for $89CAD I usually buy it when there is a bonus optimum points offer on (or use points to get it) I know it’s blue algae (and tried some in the actual blue containers and one I really didn’t like gave it a 1 star, the other two weren’t bad, eye cream and night cream, but also not overly memorable) This one has a lovely pink colour that seems to be a trend (have seen it in Clarins and a few other brands) it didn’t look off or have a white cast on me or anything, not sure how much of a rosy glow it gave me either if you are looking specifically for that. I gave it 4 stars as it did feel nourishing and plumping. From a texture perspective it does leave a silicone like feel (like Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer) I felt like that was a protective barrier but if you don’t like/want that feel might not be for you. I used it at night so I didn’t mind the feel/texture or notice any colour issues - not sure what you might find it you used it under foundation... I find Biotherm to be a solid mid-range brand which I go for fairly regularly over time especially for the #Optimum Points - decent quality that is a reasonable price :) #Skincare #Beauty -

I bought this at Walmart for $8 hoping it might help my French tips manicure (that I do for myself at home) last longer, to be honest I was doubtful but figured I would give it a try... Honestly it was worse than the other bottle in the pic also from Sally Hansen which I bought at Dollarama! I will returned this No Chip Top Coat to Walmart and will be sticking with the dollar store one (and probably here and there try different brands to see if I can happen on something better maybe OPI) I would love to find a top coat that keeps my manicure together longer! Especially if I can find something clear with a little pink in it - if you have a fav one, that you have found performs amazingly please let me know :) I see this rated at about 4 stars, not sure why or what others experience with this product is - glad it works for them, or they have found a way to make it work; however I would not recommend buying this. I will not repurchase it as it was disappointing, which unfortunately makes me doubt any of their other top coats would be any better or more effective and won’t be giving them a go either. #Nails #Beauty -

I will be honest I was doubtful about this product, as I have never found Olay skincare products to my liking. They either feel weird or don’t perform well (perhaps they just don’t suit me and my skin) I needed a new eye cream and this Olay Regenerist Micro Sculpting Eye Swirl Eye Treatment was sale from $35 down to $25 (for 15ml) at Walmart so thought I would give it a shot. The bottle is cool and I like the swirl idea - it comes out as a thick clear/creamy (I believe one part of the product is clear and the other white in the swirl) serum/gel consistency - I will note that the first few pumps it came out clear (first pic on my finger) it took a few pumps for the two sides to combine and come out together as shown in the second pic (so of course I didn’t know realize it was supposed to be as the second and could see that delivery irritating some people) It does feel like it has a tightening effect when I put it only but not necessarily in a nice way. It did have a tingly feeling, I am lucky I have really hardy skin and don’t react to almost any products, however I could see this being a burning feeling on someone with more sensitive skin... it did not plump at all and actually left me seeing lines I have not before :( I gave it a week in case I would see results cumulatively (usually I write a review after I have finished the entire bottle or pot of a product to give it a fair shot) it was so bad/poor for me; I returned it, writing my review based on one week (which I feel is fair to report daily and a week’s experience) I hear it works well for some and that’s great! Clearly Olay is not a line formulated for me as we all have difference skin chemistry and what brands work best for us :) #Skincare #Beauty -

The fragrance is AMAZING!!! I would honestly just buy it for that alone (and I am not someone who usually would do that for a skincare or haircare product) Performance wise - I thought it was great!! (again only got a one-time use from this so please take that as you will; my rule is I usually only review a product after I have finished the entire pot/bottle) - Argan Oil & Vitamin E are always great ingredients, it’s a clear, I would say medium viscosity liquid, it had that silicone feeling but not oily and I felt like it absorbed into my hair and added shine and body/texture without weighing it down or leaving a product feeling on my hair when I touched it - I have Indian hair so can (need) products with more weight and substance (not sure how you would fair if you had fine hair; but maybe if you use less would be just as great on that hair type) Price point online I see it’s $75 (if I remember I will ask at the mall how much they sell it for and update my review) it’s pricey but I think the real issue would be where to purchase it (not at Sephora and not much that I found online tbh) however if anyone hands you a sample packet I say take it!! and give it a go :) #Haircare #Beauty

This is the second pack I have tried - my cousin from the UK left this Simple Kind To Skin Cleansing Facial Wipes pack when she was here, and I have finished it and I don’t know if the ingredient laws from the UK to Canada (NA) make the same product different per country but I really liked these - not too heavy with chemically product, felt light and more natural and didn’t leave me feeling like I had a ton of residue on my face leftover from the wipe! I am not sure I will ever give any wipe 5 stars (I think it’s the nature of the beast that none will feel perfect bc always some residue) however these are pretty close - definitely a 4.5 if not 5- I feel like it does get all my makeup off (even if more natural) I quite liked Burts Bees Facial Cleansing Towelettes Pink Grapefruit but by comparison not sure if it got as much make up off as these Simple brand ones. I say the more “chemically” ones (as how I distinguish them in my head) like Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes are effective but I do feel like there is a layer of something left on my skin. I have so far tried Bioderma Sensibio H2O Water Wipes, Almay Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes, Night Soothing (awful) Almay Clear Complexion Face Towelettes and am now on a Shoppers Drug Mart Life (storebrand) pack which aren’t all that much cheaper and definitely (so far) more residue-y and less nice... I will review that one when I am done the pack. I am trying a different one each time I buy a new pack so I can try to find my favourite - I recommend Simple wipes as I have also tried their Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes and found them similar to this packs as one of the tops ones in my opinion, experience and skin! #Makeup #Skincare #MakeupWipes #Beauty -

I purchased this at Shoppers Drug Mart ages ago (so I don’t recall how much it cost) and finally used it. My rule is I have to finish the bottle before I write a review :) This product from Bourjois is that two part eye makeup remover you have to shake before each use , it does remove eye makeup well, however it also has that oily feeling/residue, which is why I gave it 3 stars. I probably would not purchase this one again - in all fairness I haven’t tried a ton of eye make up removers just Nivea’s NIVEA Daily Essentials Extra Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover which I did like, I would say that didn’t remove makeup quite as well but it didn’t have that oily feeling either... I have just started a bottle of Garnier’s Garnier Skinactive Micellar Cleansing Water All In 1 which I am loving better than both those to remove my eye and face makeup! It doesn’t feel like it leaves residue or strip my skin (if anything feels soft after) I will try Bioderma’s Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellaire Solution as I read its better because it’s alcohol-free? I will write reviews on both when done the bottles of those. All in all this product is okay, does the job it’s meant to but not one I would necessarily recommend #Skincare #Makeup #Beauty -

Cleans beautifully and like that it’s a workhorse that I can use for different things so only need the one thing (outside of windex) I am sucker for anything pink grapefruit scented feels so fresh!! I especially love and buy it because it’s non-toxic (I got my last one at Zehrs here in Canada because Shoppers has unfortunately stopped carrying it if I am not mistaken) It’s reasonably priced around $5 and feel like it’s a quality product I can trust. I highly recommend picking up a bottle if you like pink grapefruit and haven’t tried it yet -

I was switching to #clean products where I could I really want and wanted to be able to love this The 7 Virtues Vanilla Woods Eau de Parfum and give it a 5 star review - I got it to switch to a clean fragrance after testing all the choices from this brand as my skin chemistry is such that it
dramatically alters a #scent and not for the better :( this was the best out of all I tried, I love sweet fragrances (like PinkSugar) and as this also has that vanilla element was hoping it would be close to that as a dupe. The vanilla part is lovely however there is one note in it (maybe the pear?) that I don’t love; or maybe my skin chemistry did something to it... so one star for that and also one star less for its lack of staying power - I assume that is common to clean fragrances? however it is disappointing that I feel like it dissipates and is gone so quickly :( again maybe that’s my skin chemistry? But it doesn’t happen with a traditional #perfume so am going to assume it’s an element of this one as it’s clean... I spray more since it’s gone so quickly so for the price point definitely makes it more expensive to use as well - purchased at Sephora for $88CAD - I am still delighted there are clean options out there and I would try to find another that works for you me, however I don’t know if I would recommend this one/brand - if the scent works for you I would still definitely mention how quickly it seems to disappear as a caution #Perfume #Beauty
