I was provided this product for free to try in order to give my honest review after testing it. I’ve had heartburn for many years, mostly due to medications I’ve been on so I’ve tried many things, from prescription medications to Tums/Gaviscon to sleeping sitting up, etc and nothing has ever taken it away for any length of time. And unfortunately, Esoph didn’t either. I tried taking it as often as at every meal and at bedtime and as little as just at night and unfortunately my results weren’t consistent. Sometimes it helped and sometimes it didn’t, which is disappointing for something you have to take continually rather than as needed. I gave it three stars because it did help sometimes so it wasn’t completely unhelpful, however, for the price, I would prefer a product that works consistently. I also wasn’t a huge fan of the taste. Or maybe it was the texture or viscosity I didn’t like. Whatever it was, I found it a huge chore to get each little packet down and for something you have to “drink” that many times per day, you would prefer it be enjoyable. Or at least tolerable. I’m also a huge “sipper”, drinking coffee, water or whatever throughout the day in small amounts, so having to make sure I do not drink anything for half an hour after taking Esoph was actually rather annoying. Because if I did slip and accidentally take a sip, it greatly reduced the effectiveness, making me feel as if I “wasted” a dose. Overall, I’m not sure if I would recommend this to people suffering chronic heartburn or acid reflux. Maybe it would be effective for those who suffer now and then, but for anyone with a more difficult to manage situation, I would probably say try something else. -

I got a sample of the Sarna Bug Bite patches free from Butterly and the very first time I got attacked by a mosquito (he got me twice!) I used a couple patches on the bites. While they didn’t work so well to reduce the itching immediately, they did help to keep me from scratching since the bites were covered. The biggest difference I noticed was the next day. I’m usually itchy, swollen and red for a few days after a mosquito bite but the patches made the majority of that disappear less than 24 hours later. They stayed stuck to my skin for that whole time and since there’s no latex in these, my skin wasn’t irritated at all from them. Definitely recommend, especially for those like me who have more serious reactions to mosquitoes than others do. -

I received a sample of 4 patches from Butterly in exchange for my honest review. And while I’m fine with receiving samples to try, I was a little bit disappointed in this case, as I was hoping to actually try them for the recommended 10 days to see a difference in one major dark spot I have. However, since it was 4 provided instead of 10+ (or the 16 of what a full package is), I decided to use them on a new pimple instead, hoping to ward off any damage or dark spots ahead of time. So for 4 nights in a row, before bed, I cleaned the affected area, dried it and placed a patch over a fairly large (for me) whitehead. The first morning I noticed a fair amount of change, the whitehead was mostly removed with the patch and the redness was less than the night before. Nights two and three I didn’t notice a significant change but by night 4, the blemish was quite a bit less red and swollen than it would’ve been had I not used anything on it. Most of all, during this time, I wasn’t tempted to pick at it, as I normally would have been, so I’m sure it prevented what could have been a nasty post-acne mark. It was also comfortable to wear overnight, even with the blemish being above my lip so I was able to fall asleep without being annoyed by something on my face. A huge point for me also is that it is latex-free, as I have sensitivities to latex. Overall, this “mini” trial makes me more likely than not to purchase it for myself to try a full 10 days with it to see how that goes.
