I bought this mask at the same time as their lip mask on a whim, and I am so glad I did! I don’t struggle with rosacea, but I do have moderate unevenness and red areas on my face. I’ve used this overnight 5 times now, and when I wake up in the mornings, my skin is totally even-toned, no red spots, plump and moisturized, and no new breakouts to be found. It’s super creamy, not a gel formula, and has no detectable added fragrance. My friend with rosacea purchased this after I recommended it to her and it has become her best friend after two uses. It’s worth a try for sure. -

My partner wears colognes with similar notes to Dior’s Sauvage Elixir such as Tom Ford’s Black Orchid and Jo Malone’s Lime Basil & Mandarin, but this one didn’t suit his skin like the others. Sauvage Elixir has top notes of Cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, and grapefruit; middle note of lavender; and base notes of sandalwood patchouli, vetiver, amber, and licorice. Upon first contact with skin, the cologne is certainly spicy and woody, but no grapefruit was detected; after 15 minutes, the spice is certainly still there, but the lavender dried down to a very strong powdery floral that overpowered the more nuanced top and base notes. The powdery finish resulted in a cologne that smelled like something that should be worn by a much older man or woman, it’s not bad necessarily, but on a 30 year old it smells out of place and overpowering. Sauvage elixir has strong longevity and sillage- I can smell it on him the morning after testing it out. If you are a fan of the woody, spicy, and a powdery lavender finish, this would be a great scent to try out. For us, we will not be purchasing Dior Sauvage Elixir in the future. -

This relaunch of Miss Dior Eau de Parfum includes some extra lovely floral notes like peony, iris, lily of the valley, and centifolia rose alongside its original base of bergamot; the middle notes are grasse and Damascus rose; and the base notes consist of rosewood, pink pepper, and sandalwood. This perfume is definitely floral heavy, but not powdery like so many white florals can be once they develop because of the number of rose notes complimenting the white florals, which makes this a very wearable fragrance for any age and occasion. Upon initial application, it smells very sweet, but the sweetness factor goes away after a few minutes to reveal a beautiful floral bouquet with a touch of spice from the pink pepper base, rounding itself out with slight woody depth. The longevity and sillage are powerful but not overpowering, but of course, this depends on how much perfume you apply and where you apply it. I would definitely consider repurchasing Miss Dior once I finish this lovely sample, and if you’re a fan of well-rounded feminine florals, I would absolutely recommend giving this a try. -

I especially love Weleda’s skin food moisturizer in the winter months because CA gets cold and very dry at night. This can be applied as a face or body moisturizer and it really helps ease and prevent chapped skin. It wears great under makeup, but I prefer the lighter version, Weleda Skin Food Light Nourishing Cream - 2.5 fl oz for that, so I usually use this for nighttime hydration and use the light one for daytime and for makeup prep. -

Quite possibly the worst mascara I’ve ever used. I have oily eyelids and tubing mascaras have been such a game-changer in terms of eliminating transfer and smudging underneath my eyes, so I was super excited to try Maybelline’s Snapscara since they usually produce quality mascaras. Unfortunately, this is not it! It’s so dry, consistently inconsistent when it comes to clumping, and does nothing to extend, add volume, or evenly distribute color to my lashes. It’s nearly impossible to use on bottom lashes because of the problems I mentioned above. I’ve given this a fair shot, but it disappoints every single time I use it. -

I unfortunately don’t love this sunscreen because whenever I wear it I break out in those little tiny pimples you can basically scratch off, but are annoying nonetheless. I don’t have sensitive skin, and I rarely break out from products anymore. This also makes my makeup quite oily throughout the dash. The positive things about this product are that it doesn’t leave a white cast (I’m white, but my bf has used it as well and he’s African American), doesn’t sting my eyes, and has a nice moisturizing formula. All skin is different, and I’m sure this is an excellent product for many but unfortunately didn’t work for me. -

This is my 15th bottle of this stuff, I absolutely adore it. The way I use it is by dampening my skin with my rosewater/orange blossom water toner, mixing in The Ordinary 100% Niacinamide Powder 07 Oz/ 20 G, and applying this all over my dampened skin. It helps so much with fine lines and I see a difference when I don’t use it regularly. It works as an excellent vehicle for the powdered niacinamide which helps with evening my skin, curbing congestion, and lightening dark spots. -

After turning 30, my skin began to change. I still have combination skin, but I started to experience more dryness than I was used to in certain areas and I couldn’t figure out what to do when my normal moisturizing products fell short. This product was the solution to my problems. It helps seal in moisture but isn’t a heavy product so it was super easy to incorporate into my routine. It makes a huge difference under my makeup as well! Highly recommend! -

I am very on the fence about this eye cream from CosRx. On the one hand, you really get a wonderful amount of product, and it is moisturizing- but, the pump is super inconsistent (sometimes I get a huge glob, sometimes barely any comes out), and after six months of use I haven’t noticed any visible improvements in little fine lines from just this alone. Once I’m finished with the bottle, I’ll definitely be on the hunt for another eye cream/serum. -
